The turnover there is nonstop and it shows. They always claim to have sent requests to multiple doctors who never receive them and they are always out of stock on everything. Once more, their counter employees are rude. When they DO call you back, they talk AT you, not TO you. Go to another CVS as this one sucks. I will be making a change very soon. read more

No help from the front , or the pharmacy. No live person. At first I thought maybe it's during the " lunch closed time" but it was not. I called at 12:54pm. Who asked to leave a voicemail at a pharmacy. This is not an office this is a pharmacy for urgent prescriptions prices and questions. The new younger female pharmacist is rude and apathetic. She comes to the counter to give me a consultation and asked me if I'm still taking a certain medication. I answer yes and without saying another word, turns around and walks away back to her station without giving me any further instruction or telling me why she inquired. She never even consulted on the new prescription. I asked the clerk why she asked, and she went and asked the pharmacist why she was asking about me being on this other medication and she just shrugged. She clearly could not care less and seemed like she didn't want to be at work or do her job. So the clerk says "well it must be OK to take the two medications together because otherwise she would've told you." Then they wanted me to click the button saying I received a consultation from the pharmacist for the new medication, which I never got. read more

This store needs more staff, unfortunately. The shelves are not kept up well and the pharmacy is very short staffed or slow technicians. If you go to the pharmacy after work hours, the line to pick up is an idle long. Go early in the day for faster service. This location recently started closing the pharmacy suing the lunch hour, so check their hours before to go. read more

Medication is out of stock for weeks and they don't even bother to update you with ETA or offer you an alternative or refer to another CVS that has it. Their pharmacy is fairly efficient, but depending on the time of day, lines can vary. More often then not, you will find yourself in line waiting for your prescriptions, so try to remain patient. Make sure you sign up for their CVS ExtraCare rewards program as you will receive coupons and rewards via your email. Recently I received a 40% off coupon for one single item and it saved me significantly on my shaver blade cartridges. The front cashier is usually pretty good about acknowledging you as you walk in and is always friendly while ringing you up. I would not recommend this pharmacy. The Pharmacist is not nice at all and acts as if customers are an inconvenience. The pharmacy staff also mimic his customer service. This location seems to vary in availability of merchandise and organization. Stopped in earlier this week for first aid supplies as recommended by the dermatologist. They didn't have the type of bandages I was seeking, so had to find a compromise. They also had a very limited selection of the brand of hair care products I use and needed to refill. Speaking of shampoo, their carpet looked like it could use a washing session. I've been in at Christmas time and they were brimming with seasonal items, so it fluctuates as far as having stock on hand. The checkout lines moved quickly. This is a smaller sized CVS right off the 101 in Thousand Oaks. It's very easy to find from the freeway and I often stop here on my way in to work if I need to pick up something generic. They have a small selection of non-perishable foods and pantry items, good selection of sodas and wine/beer and a reasonable variety of other household and personal products. The isles are clean and the store is easy to navigate. The lines tend to be short and the staff are polite and know where stuff is. Their selection of office supplies changes around sometimes so I can't always guarantee they'll have the exact product I saw there before, but they have your normal bases covered. They always have a holiday/seasonal isle and they keep sale stuff around for a few days after the holiday is over so you can get stuff cheap then. read more

worst cvs still I have ever been to in my life. I was having a good day before I had to go here in between my busy day. I was waiting for my prescription and a guy was yelling at the girl who answers the in-coming calls for medication. He was complaining because she hung up on the guy while he was asking a question that she was not answering. Not helpful employees and they are mean. I'd personally had to go on yelp before with an incident that happened to me as well. I was backing up the upset customer because the worker should've answered his question and not hung up on him. That is unprofessional and poor customer service. Do better CVS. You don't know if it will be someone's last straw and it has ruined my whole mood. I have a headache and I'm really pissed off. The cashier that was in the front was the employee who had yelled at me for accusing to steal when I had picked up a hair product looking at it put it back down on the shelf and all of a sudden there was an employee standing behind me yelling at me accusing me of stealing. She is the only reason I still go there. The rest of them especially the doctor need to take an example of Lisa. They are understaffed and always long lines. This is the absolute worse pharmacy. There's always a huge line and one person working the register. Half of the time my prescriptions aren't even ready on time. Like today, I get up there and an RX I called in yesterday, ISNT READY! And their hours on Yelp are wrong. They close at 9pm during the week and 6pm on sundays. It's says they're open until 10. DO NOT go to this CVS Pharmacy. Go to one of the other locations instead. I am indignent. I had a 5:00 appt. for my covid booster vaccine. I'm over due to get it and decided to get it today because my mom needs to have cancer surgery soon. The girl checked me in and told me to have a seat. Almost thirty minutes went by, so I got back in line to talk with someone to see how much longer it would be. They couldn't give me an answer. By this time I had been waiting over 40 minutes. I told them I needed to get home to my family and make dinner. Then finally another guy working there apologized and said "two minutes" and started scolding who was apparently the only guy there able to give the vaccines. The guy who could give the vaccines was on his cell phone trying to get through to a number that kept ringing and ringing. The other guy who was trying to help me was saying "this girl and three other people have been waiting 40 minutes for their vaccines, can you please please just do their vaccines? You don't need to make this phone call, the other pharmacist already called and took care of it"....literally this went on for TEN minutes. The guy on his cell phone wouldn't even make eye contact with his colleague or any of the patients who were waiting. They offered no explanation as to what all this drama was about. It was so obvious that the person who was to administer the vaccine didn't care about his patients, and at this point I didn't trust that he would even give me the correct vaccine without messing it up. The place was incredibly disorganized. I was not the only one having an issue, people were having multiple issues that I observed as I waited. I transferred all my prescriptions to a local pharmacy except the one that was not available as to not lose the time already spent as the local pharmacy did not have it in stock as well. Every time I go into the store physically it also takes forever because they only have one person on the register, maybe, on a good day. After you go looking for someone to ring you up, 10 more suckers that continue to shop here are lined up ahead of you. It's always, I mean ALWAYS A COMPLETE MESS in that store. Merchandise on the ground, trash outside of the overflowing canister, customers walking around looking for help. How and why do we come to this store? For myself I will no longer remain a faceless nuisance that is wasting their time by doing their jobs!! Good riddance. My money will spend just the same at a more appreciative retailer. Went to my doctor. He electronically sent an Rx for cough medicine. I received notification on my cell phone that it was sent to this pharmacy and the cost would be $5.57. The odyssey then began. Pickup Window: "Name? DOB?" "Don't have anything for you. Go to the Drop Off window." Drop Off Window: "You have a question?" Yes, I'm trying to pick up my $5 bottle of cough medicine. "Name? DOB? Sorry we don't have any prescriptions for you." (Show her my phone with the confirmation). "Oh here it is. It will be 30 minutes. We'll page you." ...30 minutes go by with people getting paged but not me. Pickup Window: "Name? DOB? Sorry, we don't even show a prescription started for you. Go back to the Drop Off Window. Drop Off Window (same gal): "You have a question?" Why yes, I'm wondering what happened to the prescription you found about 40 minutes ago. I've been pacing back and forth with this awful cold and cough. -"Name? -it hasn't changed. "DOB?" -Just older by 40 minutes. "I'm sorry that prescription isn't in the system." -Ma'am we've had this conversation previously. Look around. "Oh, here it is. Sorry. It will just be a few minutes. It was indeed just 5 minutes more. But the staff at this pharmacy seem very disorganized with no short term memory in tact. read more
