Having lived in the local community for 20 years, I can honestly say there's nothing more refreshing than a friendly, home town and locally owned pharmacy like Kramer's. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your prescriptions are filled in a timely manner. In addition, the pharmacy is wonderful for kids, young adults and senior citizens who often visit their convenience store for sundries, toys and other items. If you're sick of the large big box pharmacies that treat you like cattle, Kramer's if for you. Make it a point to stop by and meet Andy, the owner. Andy will make sure you receive the highest level of service and care. Support your local business and move all of your prescriptions to Kramer's. You'll be glad you did!!! read more

I used to like this place. Folks were friendly, drug store was accessible. Prices were fair. Not so much anymore. Came in to purchase test kits for Covid and lo and behold they had taken the kits apart and are selling them for 20.00 each! You get your test kit in a pharmacy bag rather than the original packaging . When I asked I was told they bought them wholesale. What a racket, price gouging just like that at a time when they could do the community good, they chose the wrong path! For reference, Amazon is selling the same kit priced at 18.00 for two tests! Bye, bye Kramer's. Have no respect for you anymore. read more

Great staff. Very professional Always contact us when prescriptions ready. And offer delivery!

My son's doctor submitted an RX in march we were notified they didn't have it in stock and that' I'd need to keep calling to see if they got it. I've been doing just that. Yesterday I called and was told they had it and could fill it. I said perfect please do he's out. The pharmacist said she's fill but there would be a price discrepancy due to it being non generic I told her that it was fine. We come to pick it up only to be told it was never filled and they no longer had it. I reiterate my conversation and they tried to tell me I was wrong, mind you I am not. I know what was said and what I was told. Then the pharmacist today goes on to tell me they can't accept the rx now since it's from march. And again I told him they've had it all this time but couldn't fill and I've been calling to get it filled. They were rude and not helpful and basically told me were SOL. This whole experience was so disappointing. They lack compassion and customer service and I'll definitely never return. Do better and be better. And don't make customers feel like they're in the wrong read more

I am always nervous about shots and made an appointment for a booster shot here with no expectations. While I was waiting had so much fun shopping for two gifts for my new puppy. They have a lot of cute household items that made it so much fun and distracted me! Thanks! read more

I came here only because my doctors office was in the same building, sorry I did...Will not be back. Some of the girls are so rude, they should try and be more friendly and happy. Also as I waited for my meds, all the girls did was gossip about someone that was off work that day. read more

My family has been customers of Kramer's Pharmacy for more than 30 years. They are always reliable and have excellent customer service. I recently had an issue with a sharp uptick in the price of one medication and they went above and beyond to get me a better price. I realize that's not always possible to do, but even had he not been able to achieve this result, I would have been grateful for the special effort. Very few places these days create such a feeling of caring about their customers and doing what they can to help. They have earned every bit of respect and loyalty we feel toward them. read more

Fast and efficient, professional and gives you the service of a boutique pharmacy. I am welcomed by name, wait five minutes for medications. Everything from medical supplies - beauty needs - gift ideas - children's toys - grab and go refreshments. I have been a customer with Kramers for 26 years now and I find them to be responsive, kind, helpful and easy to work with. I wouldn't stay with them if they weren't! Late yesterday afternoon I called Kramer' and spoke with the pharmacist about a medication I urgently needed. Kramers Pharmacy...Shame on you! This was our first experience with your pharmacy, and you took advantage of our family. We support small local business, and this is how we are repaid?! We purchased 5 tests for $114.00 with the hopes that we would be reimbursed from our insurance company. Plus, I had no idea how much they should cost. These tests were opened from their original package then sold to us one per Ziploc bag compete with copied instructions. The markup is what gets me. You took advantage that these tests were hard to come by and decided to make a profit from the community as we struggle in the economy and try our best to keep our family safe. We will NEVER cross your doors again. I would expect this from a thief online and not the local trusted pharmacy. I am attaching pictures in the hopes that others will see and won't be taken advantage of. Please save your "were sorry your upset" speech as its nothing but a template and not original or sincere. read more

Kramer's Pharmacy - Covid Test - Gift Shops Near Me - Agoura Hills, California

Unprofessional. Not at all what a medical professional would expect or hope for their patients. The atmosphere is more akin to a 'mean girls' skit than to a pharmacy. Very disappointed in the lack of customer care. Judgment reigns supreme while compassion seems to have been forgotten. The management is contrary, condescending, confrontational and apathetic. I have heard numerous accounts of 'bad behavior' and 'group think' being the norm at this location and today I experienced it first hand. Based on the approach of the 'manager' and the clear lack of coaching or training of the employees, I am dubious with respect to privacy provisions. To this point, someone went in after I left who knew me and the Kramer's staff publicly referred to me with a derogatory term because I chose to decline their service based on the response I received. Whether a misunderstanding occurred or not, a professional & kind approach should always be paramount when addressing each other and in a professional environment, discretion should be a standard practice. This was not the case today. I recommend Kanan Pharmacy if you would like to support our local economy. read more

Best Pharmacy I've ever been too. They are absolutely the kindest and quickest pharmacy I've ever used. They always make sure I leave there completely satisfied. They sell other items in their shop and everything is adorable. Unique kids toys and educational but fun toys. Andy Kramer and his team make it so much easier to do business than any of these mail order services or large pharmacies. There is something for sure to say about local community service! they are amazing! They handle everything for you to make your life easier - personal phone calls, delivery, working with your insurance company instead of you sitting on hold and getting passed around forever from department to department. Support local and get better service at relatively the same price! No brainer! read more

I love this place Casey brings my perscriptions right out to my car and she is so sweet also Stevie is just as nice

Dr. phoned over Coumadin needed to keep my blood clotting, to avoid a stroke or heart attack, I live solo, could not get outta bed. I called them to be safe, "Are you bringing my Coumadin?" JEFF Spicole "Yeah I'm sure, did you order it??. All our deliveries go out at 5 when we close. ME Well can you just double check and see if my prescription is line to be delivered?" Price gouging on Covid home tests @KramersPharmacy in @CityAgouraHills . Charging $21.00 for one test; the same test on @amazon for $9.00!! The difference ... @amazon cannot deliver until 1/10/22, and @KramersPharmacy knows there are no home tests to be found anywhere . This is #PriceGouging, plain and simple, and when I told who I think is the owner Adam it was price gouging, he refused to sell me the two tests I needed for a member of my family who has tested positive. He told me to go and purchase them somewhere else, knowing full well they're not available anywhere! Absolutely Shameful. Contacting @RepBrownley @JuliaBrownley @ASM_Irwin to report. read more

I wanted to love this place but after ripping people off charging $29 per Covid test (use to be $45 And there is articles online of them price gauging) when the exact same test is sold in 2 pack for $12 on Amazon, then yelling at me on the phone and being extremely unprofessional with my previous pharmacy hanging up on them etc when transferring meds. I think I'm just gonna have to give up on wanting to support this local pharmacy. It sucks as I am all about small business but if you are not going to take care of your local community, I'm out. read more

They deserve ZERO STARS!!! The pharmacist was so rude! She lied to my face and said we don't deal with prescriptions that are not from around here.y prescription was from 2 cities over. A Friend refered me here. She said that day mail her medication to North Carolina. But yet the lying rude pharmacist said I'm not local. I was so upset when I left. I couldn't believe my ears. She blamed the owner and said it's the owners policy. I hope the owner of that pharmacy reads this and those at the pharmacist there are giving them a bad name. so do not waste your time and go there they will treat you like crap I've never been treated that way at any other pharmacy I've been to. read more

Bought 6 at home covid tests at $29 a piece for my kids. Did not realize they are $13 for two direct from the manufacturer. Ordered 4 more from Amazon. Sadly I've been a customer for over 25 years. Very dismayed to find out the pricing tactic after the fact. read more

Do not take your child here for vaccinations. They will refuse to vaccinate if they hear your MINOR child say they don't want to be given a shot. Well, guess what -- NO child wants to be given a shot. Unfortunately for them, it's not their choice. If I bring my child in to be vaccinated, my expectation is that their opinion does not matter. They've been of enormous help to me and my wife for many years. Often, they will intercede, on my behalf, to deal with the mountains of paperwork necessary to actually get certain medications. I've been here twice this week. This is the first time that we used this pharmacy and I fell in love. We usually go to cvs but my son was really sick and our dr office reminded me that there is a pharmacy downstairs. My son's prescription was ready in minutes both times. They were friendly and efficient. They also have toys which were surprisingly not overpriced. My son left with a toy, ice cream and his medicine. It made our stressful week a lot easier. read more

I just have to commend my local pharmacy Kramer's. I have been going there for well over 10 years because the service is top notch. Today they went even above that. I am in between healthcare insurance coverage and I had to pay cash for my medications. One medication is ridiculously expensive. (Well over a thousand). Kramer's cash price was way more than I expected (by several hundreds) and when I price checked other pharmacies in the area who used different distributors their prices were lower. Kramer's price matched the lowest of the competitors right there on the spot so I could get my needed medication today. This pharmacy really cares about its customers. In today's society that is really rare and should be acknowledged. read more

My son takes a hard to find medication. Kramer has it in stock but won't fill it because we don't "live in the area"?!? I work in Westlake. How fortunate we are to have this pharmacy in our neighborhood. For the past 35 years they have taken care of our needs, both great and small and have seen us through everything from childbirth to Medicare. They are friendly, efficient and professional. Further, they have expertly handled all of the red tape that seems to come at the worst times of one's life. We have always thought of them as family... probably because that is how we are treated every time we call or drop in (and they deliver!) read more

Unprofessional treatment by Mr. Kramer: My doctor wanted me to find my perscription (generic) manufacturered by a specific brand. The doctor recommended this pharmacy, stating that they have good customer service and could find what I needed. The doctor himself called 10 mintues before I arrived at Kramer's to verify they could get me the generic brand I needed and that I could indeed fill my prescription there. The Dr told them I was on my way. I went to drop off my perscription to Kramer's pharmacy.  As I waited the owner argued loudly with the pharmacist about my perscription, stating that I'm not a regular customer and they will not make any money off me.  The pharmacist reminded Mr. Kramer that my doctor had just called about this. The pharmacist suggested telling the Dr he couldn't get the manufacturer he wanted after all and Mr. Kramer agreed that would be the plan, so he wouldn't lose any money off filling the perscription for me (dispite the pervious conservation with my dr). Since I could hear the conversation, I spoke up and said I could hear them, as well as the rest of the pharmacy.  Mr. Kramer came over to say that insurance pays him nothing l for generic and he'll lose money off me. I realize why this is his porogiative, but this was previously discussed. I told him that I could tell the doctor the issue AND he'd also know the reason I overheard why I would not get my perscription. I told him I'm sure my dr remembered calling and sending me specifically to his pharmacy. I needed to tell My Dr that Kramer's is not the professionals he believed then to be. Mr. Krammer then decided to fill it then after all. I tried to ask why he went back on it and he denied saying he was never going to fill it. That's a lie, but there's no point in trying to argue it. I told him I'd still need to let my Dr know. He was angry at my decision and spoke even louder saying he never said my name, I souldn't be embarrassed. I'm not sure what HIPPA states, but this was not discreet at all. I'm not even sure anyone just than the pharmacist and dr should be discussing medication at all.    Had he spoken quietly in the first place I'd never had known and would have to go to another pharmacy.    Rude/unprofessional at best, violation of privacy at worst. I post positive reviews in general, this was a very bad experience. It's pretty clear how Mr. Kramer feels about money and his customers. His only excuse to me was how insurance won't pay him anything... I understand that. However, it was discussed beforehand. That's a great business minded rebuttle but the customers usually want more than that at a small pharmacy. 0 stars if possible. UPDATE: Mr. Kramer left me a message on my cell stating and I QUOTE, "Upon reviewing your review of the pharmacy I cannot fill your prescription. I do not feel comfortable mailing it, because it is a mail order, Kramer's will not fill it." I called back to ask what the mailing issue was, Mr. Kramer did not answer me but instead started talking about this review. I told him that he made it obvious that he decided to go back on his word because of my review. I asked again what the mailing issue was, as he stated it on my voice mail. He said he'd discuss that with my dr. I told Mr. Kramer that *I* a.m the customer, not the dr. I have never given Mr. Kramer, a non medical professional, permission to speak with my dr concerning medication. Mr. Kraner esus's he isn't discussing my medication...I'm not sure what he means by that, as we clearly are discussing it. I also told him of it's an issue with my medication I'd feel more comfortable talking to the pharmacist. I told him my review was very honest and if he wanted to apologize for his unprofessional behavior I'd consider updating my review. I told him it's crystal clear why he's not going to fill it and it had nothing to do with a mailing issue and I'd be happy to leave an update on his decision. He said he tried apologizing to me already. He was worried the medication would get too hot in the mail. He agreed to get mr. the perscription of I was ok with it maybe getting too hot.... I'll take my chances. Thanks for your concern, Mr. Kramer. I'm sure it came from the heart. Bottom line, he knows he screwed up. He'd never call to refuse my prescription unless my review hit a soft spot. Heroin the other reviews on his behavior I don't see him improving. UPDATE 2/2019. Inccorrect medication sent, medication "lost in the mail," and finally a hand written note that my insurance will only fill 2 more prescriptions. I spoke south my insurance, they never gave him a number of prescriptions and all they need is a Doctor's note. It's obvious Krammer isn't keeping his word, therefore this review it back up. Very unethical. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android read more

We've been going to Kramer's Pharmacy for over 20 years. The reason being that Andy (owner) has always given personalized service. Andy always made it clear that he valued his loyal customers. Fast forward to this week, my wife had a heart attack and I needed to be with her but needed her medication, I couldn't get to the pharmacy. Andy made sure that the medications were delivered without delay. And, he has CALLED twice to see how we were doing, as well as, ask if we needed anything. Every time I call the pharmacy the staff inquires about my wife. Trust me, I've worked in the corporate and retail sector and Kramer's Pharmacy goes above and beyond. They have become members of our extended family. We're fortunate to have them in our community. read more

This pharmacy is privately owned by Mr. Kramer. The service of new prescriptions and refills are speedy and accurate. I love the pharmacists working here, everyone has a great personality and most importantly - really care to explain to the patient what it is they are giving them so the patient is 100% comfortable with awareness of the stuff they put into their bodies. Consultations are also available by phone and in person, my top favorites are hands down Seth and Charmaine. Seth is a young pharmacist but is so knowledgeable of the field and is always up to date with the newest discoveries in medicine, he has a great sense of humor and is very patient with customers. Charmaine is a pleasant lady with a beautiful South African accent and is the perfect definition of a lady - she is always cool, pleasant and elegant, even in consultations! If you live in the Agoura or so Cal area, Kramer's is definitely the place to go! read more
