Little did I know, this was only the beginning. Having walked in, I gave them my gift and told them I would be back (I had to go to nearby Sweet Lady Jane to pick up a cake). Before I walked out, she asked if I had a budget. Knowing my boss wanted it real nice like, I said, just please make it look nice for a bridal gift. They said okay and didnt quote a thing. Didnt warn me for my impending doom. I left thinking it would be around $20 or so, which would be outrageous in my mind, but whatever. I came back to pick up the gift. I asked how much it was. I'll pause now for dramatic effect. $73. Homey say what? $73. In this economic climate. $73. For paper, a ribbon, and a topper. If you are going to charge me that kind of coin, shouldnt you like give a heads up. Or something? Anything? If you like to keep warm at night by burning money in the fireplace, by all means, come here. But if you are like the rest of us, I'd stay away.

I purchased a necklace on top of many other things from that visit back in June and wore the necklace for about five weeks before the "gold plated handmade necklace tarnished. while, I love the butterfly, I also found it online for five dollars so that was not handmade and putting it on a cheap necklace with your name on it is genius but not good for business. I did not reach out to the store so I'm not sure how they would handle this, but I wanted to share my experience.
