Before I walked out, she asked if I had a budget. Knowing my boss wanted it real nice like, I said, just please make it look nice for a bridal gift. They said okay and didnt quote a thing. Didnt warn me for my impending doom. I left thinking it would be around $20 or so, which would be outrageous in my mind, but whatever. I came back to pick up the gift. I asked how much it was. I'll pause now for dramatic effect. $73. Homey say what? $73. In this economic climate. $73. For paper, a ribbon, and a topper. If you are going to charge me that kind of coin, shouldnt you like give a heads up. Or something? Anything? If you like to keep warm at night by burning money in the fireplace, by all means, come here. But if you are like the rest of us, I'd stay away.
