Sage Spirits is a wonderful crystals and stones store located in Thousand Oaks. I'm so happy my friend and I stumbled upon it as we loved browsing this store and even walked away with a few goodies. We were drawn in by the signage and welcoming vibes from the minute we walked into the store. The store was surprisingly busy on the weekend around lunch time so we could sense this is a pretty popular spot. The staff here are super friendly and inviting. Being a person who doesn't know much about stones or these types of products, I felt comfortable browsing as no one was on top of me watching me but also at the same time there were plenty of staff on the floor should I have needed some help. Even at checkout the gal behind the register was super friendly and personable. We had a nice and quick chit chat with her about the tarot cards my friend was purchasing and she was really lovely. We felt our business was appreciated. This store has great inventory. We were really impressed by how many rocks, stones, and crystals were all over the place. Also the signage about the stones and prices were all very clear and well marked. I actually feel that this helped me when making my purchase as it was clear how much everything costed AND I loved that they were smart enough to print little cards about the stones that you could take so you'd remember the kind of stone you bought and the purchase/healing that the stone may bring. Very cool and great for a newbie like me. Also while prices here varied I found them to be extremely reasonable. There were so many cute little $3 stones that it's great if your shopping for a kid/teen as you won't break the bank, but also there were bigger/pricier items that still seemed like a good deal. I walked away with a $5 blue goldstone bracelet. Not only is the shiny balls of stone gorgeous but I loved learning about it and it's properties. This place is a "candy store" for someone like me!!! The amount of raw and polished crystals were jaw dropping. And that's just the beginning... The store is huge and I could have spent all day there grazing over the items. They also sell candles, tapestry, jewelry, books, tarot cards and more. The young ladies at the front, Via and Asia were super sweet and helpful. There is plenty of parking available. It's located next to Vons Grocery Store. Right now they are having a sale of certain items. I purchased 5 beaded bracelets for $10. Great gifts here!!! The crystals are around $3 each and the specialty crystals are a little more. Nice selections of crystals and supplies, everything is neatly laid out. However, the man who appears to be in charge (or owner?) will not acknowledge your presence if you're over the age of 40. I have been there twice in the store when he was asking customers if he could help them - I was bypassed each separate time. Also, when I was there Sunday there was a lady there older than me who wasn't asked if she needed help, either. I was there because I had money to spend, and it's sad that a new business is not acknowledging all of its customers. read more

I took my friend there she is wheel chair bound they treated her like crape! Kept telling her stay away from the tables how could she see the stones. I feel this store does not care about their customers. I LOVE this place. It was my first time going and I fell in love. They helped me with a few crystal bracelets I already had. The prices were also amazing. So reasonable for what they had. I got so many things and I will go back for more. The people who work there are soooo nice as well. Another thing I also loved is that they allow dogs in. I am absolutely IN LOVE with this magical store. As soon as I stepped foot inside I was warmly greeted by multiple people. The two younger women behind the counter immediately commented on how much they loved my Star Wars backpack, and a super friendly gentleman (I'm assuming the owner) loooved my bedazzled walking cast on my right foot. I honestly can't even describe the energy in this store. It was so positive and calming. Like I was among friends I've known for years. I spent probably an hour reading all of the Crystal descriptions, smelling the gorgeous hand-poured candles, and touching probably every bracelet and wind-chime on display. Lol Each person that walked in after me was greeted kindly. Each employee was happy to answer questions, show me items I may have missed (I was shopping for a bday gift) and told me about monthly sales and specials. I really like this shop a lot. It's got a chill vibe about it. I bought myself a bunch of bracelets (For way cheaper than places like Urban Outfitters or H&M), a jewelry box for my daughter, and a tapestry for my wife. Everything from here is such a great price!
