Parking is never an issue. The customer service here tends to be mediocre. However, I had a super poor experience here today. When I was here today, I used a self checkout station as the line for the cashier was super long. First off, two of the other machines were not even working. However, the machine I used was totally fine until I paid. My receipt would not print properly; only half of it printed. The machine automatically set up an alert for staff to help me. When a staff member did come to help me, she gave me attitude and explained that I should not have pulled at the receipt; she didn't even bother to allow me the chance to explain that the receipt wasn't printing properly. This will definitely be the last time I am coming to this CVS. read more

I had two photo orders for pick-up. Due to a prior experience, I knew that I would have to be clear that I had two separate orders. As I reach the checkout desk, I lock eyes with my combatant. She gives me a warm "Hello," Cautiously, hesitantly, I greet her, my voice lined with the nervousness of fawn walking on its legs for the first time. I approach, and explain that I have two photo orders for pickup. The air suddenly shifts. It becomes taught, a tension between the two of us that stays unspoken. She asks my name. I give it. She ponders for a moment, contemplating how best she can make a simple process just a little more tedious... she says "And they're ready for pickup now?" I confirm. She gracefully walks over to her treasure chests of moments caught in time, photos of loved ones and places, her fingers brush them just ever so gently, then she walks back to me... and sets on envelope on the counter. I shudder, and gulp down the want to just turn around and never return. My eyes find hers after a moment. The challenge begins. I speak "Yes, that's great. There should be one more." Imperceptibly, her eye twitches. "I didn't see another one for you over there." Silence. The cord carrying the tension pulls tighter. "Do you need the order number?" I suggest lightly. She grunts in turn "No I don't need it, it's just not there," and she turns to peruse her hoarded treasures once more. She digs with what would appear to be a want to find the photos, to just get me away from her and out of the store. Fair enough, lady, I don't want to be here anymore than you want me here. She returns "You'll have to resend them." Short. To the point. But I'm not backing down. "I've already paid for them online." She huffs. Then calls over the manager, whose name I fail to recall at this moment. He walks over, and stands alarmingly close to me. I look up at him. To another customer, I probably looked like a girlfriend who found the time to bring her beloved a bagged lunch. He hovers "What's the problem?" I explain as quickly as possible. I placed two orders online, one of two is missing. He goes around the counter, and as he does, I see my darling cashier falter. He asks me one simple question "What size are the photos?" I tell him. His head gives me a nod and his lips thin into a smile that says this is not his first time helping my combatant in the photo department. She immediately says "oh! You said they were the same size." -5 health points to me. I thank her, scoop my photos up and walk out, never to return. I thought maybe I had gotten out mostly unscathed. But! As I flipped through my photos, two of them were cropped horrendously. KO. She has won the battle. In all honesty though I won't come back here lol this is the second time I've had some wacky experiences at this cvs photo department and I don't want to experience a third. read more

-5 Stars. Absolutely terrible experience with CVS Pharmacy and specifically with Paul. I transferred a prescription to CVS after being forced to leave my prior pharmacy due to insurance changes. I provided very clear instructions -- on THREE separate occasions over a TWO WEEK period -- explaining that a manufacturer coupon needed to be processed in order for the medication to be affordable. This was not complicated or unusual, as the prior pharmacy had been handling it correctly without issue. Instead of helping, CVS wasted hours and days of my time with repeated calls, excuses, delays, and zero resolution. This is a DAILY medication that I rely on, yet there was absolutely no sense of urgency, professionalism, or concern for the patient. What made the experience even worse was Paul's behavior. He was incredibly rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to help. He actually told me he was "too busy" to contact the prior pharmacy to have them explain the coupon process -- something that should frankly already be within CVS's normal scope of knowledge and customer service. After two weeks of getting nowhere, I finally had my doctor cancel the prescription and transferred it to Amazon Pharmacy. Amazon resolved the exact same issue within MINUTES and my medication is already being delivered. That alone says everything. Paul's attitude was arrogant and unacceptable for someone working in healthcare. Patients should not have to beg for basic assistance while being treated like an inconvenience. If CVS is this understaffed, poorly trained, or poorly managed, they need to address it immediately. If you want an AMAZING Pharmacy in the area - go to Westlake Village Pharmacy. Been going there for YEARS and they are amazing, friendly always a smile and willing to help. Wish this particular RX could go to them - all my others do go there and could not be more happy! This is probably one of the nicer CVS's I have been to. I do not live in this area, so this was my first time coming to this location. I was kind of surprised with the selection of items at this place. For example, there was so many ice creams to choose from. They even had ice cream cake which I thought was crazy. Great grab and go place for a last-minute birthday gift. There were so many cosmetic, deodorant, vitamin brands, etc. to choose from. I came here because the pharmacy closed later than all the ones near my house. I was already nearby at the UCLA urgent care down the street. I drove over after my appointment and my medication was ready. I was surprised they finished it so fast, and I was expecting to not have it ready yet. I was just going to ask the pharmacist if they could work on it, but it was done already. read more

Terrible new phone system for the pharmacy. Makes you speak everything out loud instead of giving the option to use the keypad like the previous system. For example before i could refill a prescription from almost anywhere without sharing my personal details with anyone near me. Now i have to say my DOB out loud and say the name of the prescription i want to refill. Also it doesn't acknowledge receiving information. For example when it asks you to respond yes or no to something and you say "yes" it just gives you dead air back, so you keep repeating your response. If you feel like you're getting off track there's no option to press a prompt and start over. I'm just going to call in my refill requests from now on. read more

I went in to buy some Nair Hair Removal Cream. Whatever, I'm a swimmer and need to be free of hair. Anyways, I found the Nair in a spot that said $9.99. There were 4 bottles under that price tag. So I go up to pay & my total was $16.93. I'm like NO WAY! Then supervisor came over with her handheld scanner & it turns out Nair For Men is $14.99! I didn't buy it but I went back over there with scanner lady & showed her how it was merchandised. 4 Nair bottles under a 9.99 price tag. They were merchandised incorrectly. There's NAIR & then there NADS. Whomever stocked the shelves probably say NA on the tag & put 4 bottles there. There's a HUGE difference between what NA-IR is & what NA-DS is. IF WEIGHTS & MEASUREMENTS WENT INTO THAT STORE TO INSPECT, THEY WOULD FAIL! Anyways, everything else in there is expensive now & they don't have cheap generic/over-the-counter alternatives anymore. It's all BRAND NAME stuff & there's none of those yellow sales tags on the shelf anymore. I'll never go there again. Also, I'm lucky to know a little pharmacy where I can get my Rxs fast & get out. There's a video on YouTube on how bad CVS is now. It's been going down the drain for some time & I think it's about time to flip on the garbage disposal button. I asked the front desk and they told me to ask the pharmacy area. I'm sad Rite Aid store in Agoura is closed. It was easier to find someone to help customers there than CVS. read more

It's a decent size CVS but doesn't have a lot of the items in stock. We had ordered a prescription and we were told to come there. At first they couldn't find it, but eventually did. Then we had to wait in line to get it. Mostly all CVS pharmacies look and feel the same -this one was no exception. Except without my prescription I wouldn't have gotten better and I was in town for a wedding (I had an earache)! read more

If you are due for any annual vaccines, this CVS has the best injection specialist (or pharmacy employee?) who will administer shots with ZERO PAIN. His name is Zaveh and he is incredible. Went with wifey to get the double flu-COVID booster, and wifey is a real screamer. But not a peep out of her - shocking but true. Zaveh is a master at injecting. She said it didn't hurt at all. With me, I can tolerate a lot, but she's like a squeaky yelper. Pretty amazing. Zaveh is not at the Minute Clinic - only the pharmacy, but you could probably request him, or at least find out when he's there. It's definitely worth it, especially for those super painful Shingrix shots. Pretty amazing guy! read more

The pharmacist here named "Nick", he is very disrespectful and unprofessional; he has made mistakes with my prescription multiple times. I understand when you make mistake first time, but so many times?? Due to him, I had no medication for 2 weeks and my health suffered. But I still didnt say a word until when he assured to keep the meds ready by Monday and when my husband went on Tuesday, the meds were NOT ready for no reason. When I called him, instead of apologizing, he was not just rude, yelling, and unprofessional but also terminated the call on me. This is unacceptable. We do not anticipate this level of service!! I am aware of what is covered in CVS orientation regarding treating patients with compassion and care, except for this. I am truly extremely disappointed with this treatment! One of the managers might be one of the most dismissive rude people I've ever met in my life. The overweight guy with the long hair. What a joke. Super entitled and condescending because I was sitting there waiting 30+ minutes for them to print a photo that said it was ready for pick up. Horrible service at the pharmacy. Usually never go to this CVS but they had the vaccination appointment I needed for my daughter. Checked in 5 minutes before appointment as was told to do so in the email confirmation. After check in I was told that one of the vaccines was not available. I asked the pharmacist why they didn't notify me sooner since I made the appointment a week ago. She said they have no control on the appointments made online & have no way of checking the vaccinations requested. Which I don't believe. Why would the system keep accepting vaccinations when they don't have the vaccines in stock? The pharmacist then told me to call the other CVS stores who have the vaccine in stock. Awful customer service. They created the issue which they should have rectified by calling the other stores. Instead she tells me she has no time and don't I see all the customers in line. She is too busy to call. Horrible pharmacist & horrible customer service. No apologies given nor anything done to rectify the situation. Go somewhere else! To cut to the chase: Unapologetically bad service without even a hint of recognition that they acted unprofessionally and nary a sign of an apology. If you know my reviews you know that I rarely write a bad one unless it is truly deserved; this is a deservedly bad review. I has scheduled a 7:00pm appointment to get a COVID booster. I received a text message at 6:55pm from CVS confirming my appointment and asking me to check in by clicking a link, which I did. I arrived at the pharmacy counter at 7 and was told the pharmacist was at lunch and I needed to come back in half an hour. Annoying, yes, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe there was a snafu between the online scheduler and this local branch. Pharmacist comes back at 7:30 (points for punctuality). "Are you the person who gives the COVID shots?" "Yes. But the system is down. I can't do anything." "Was the system working at 7 when I was scheduled to have my shot?" "At 7 it was working, but that's when I left." No, "I apologize for the wait," no "I apologize that the system scheduled you during my break," no "let me check other stores to see if their system is working." Nope. Just, "The system is down. I can't do anything." All I was looking for was an acknowledgement that something went wrong somewhere, but even that low bar was too high for this pharmacy employee. Personally, I've never liked CVS and only go there when there are no other options (kind of like how I feel about IHOP when hungry on a long road trip, it's 2 in the morning and passing by this freeway exit means I won't have another chance at food for the next 30 miles). So, I will now actively avoid CVS and drive to the next exit (to continue the metaphor). read more

These 5 stars are not for the look of the store or even the service. Many of the service people here are just not that friendly. Like they couldn't be bothered. I find the managers nice. BUT. Today I went in there for cold medicine. PAUL, the pharmacist couldn't have been nicer. Many people were asking him for help. One man wanted to use crazy glue on his dentures or something like that. Paul was so kind and patient with him. I asked him a million questions. Again, he was patient. And I'd like to know mention how knowledgeable he was. And in about three minutes, when I went to check out, I noticed him leaving and he still helped those people. Then I checked out on the machine and forgot to get a receipt printed. And. HONT, a cashier,saw my frustration and asked what the matter was and I told her and she immediately brought up a receipt for me. And I was glad to see that it wasn't 7 feet long. So Just acknowledging these two people and I'm sure there are more. I wish that you would do something about the look of the store and your general attitude in there. I have never been able to fill a prescription the first time here. my Dr (various Drs actually) will send electronicly and - IVE LEARNED TO CALL FIRST - and they never received it the first time. So today - I call my Dr and went to the office for an old fashioned paper one. so the office called the pharmacy and re prescribed with a live person. my Dr had sent it at 9:11.am. this is about 4:30 so back to CVS- and guess what they had 2 prescriptions and one was ready at 12:35 pm! read more

This is a great CVS! They have almost anything saving U a trip to the mall or doing your online shopping. They return things and 1 get bonuses with my customer loyalty like "bucks back". The ladies fashions sometimes run two sizes too small if larger is needed and some of the clothes have actually outlasted their expectancy. A fashion trend is drug store Jeans and matching jeans jackets that used to be at our favorite drug stores. Absolute worst experience ever when trying to transfer a medication prescription. I've been to this CVS 3 times in the last 2 weeks trying to get my medication transferred from Kaiser with NO success. I came into the store 2 times and spoke with 2 different people who said they would call and get the transfer complete. I go about my day thinking the meds will be filled to find out they haven't again. The last person I spoke with said they were on hold with Kaiser for 10 min and hung up, so now I've been without medication for a week and I'm extremely frustrated. There have been many an evening or weekend urgent care visit for my kids or myself and they always process them quickly at night so I can get them medicine to start feeling better. I reaffirm my prior ratings of this exceptional CVS. In all likelihood, the negative reviews are from people who are short on their Xanax or Ativan prescriptions - absent that, people just need to chill out. This CVS is virtually identical to every other store you'd find throughout the US, except, in this high end community, the products are not locked behind glass security shelves. So you don't need to be embarrassed by asking a 15 year old to open the case to buy your share of condoms, diarrhea medicine, or hair care products. I usually only go to this CVS on Agoura Rd. Use my coupons all the time. Presented my 25% off full price coupon and the clerk told me all items I bought were on sale, so no 25% off. I was shocked and looked at the screen - saw that once he scanned my coupon, CVS reduced all of my items by cents each, making it appear that all were on sale. NONE were on sale but CVS avoided giving me $38 off the purchase and instead gave me between $.03 - $.08 cents for a savings of $1.38. This appears to be a money saving scam. I asked for the supervisor and she simply stated that all items were on sale because pennies were deducted. I am very disappointed with this seemingly new way to not honor coupons. read more

Despite me paying $40, the large heavyset woman decided to not give me the bag unless I had 10 cents. Girl... give me a break. It's not that serious. Could have just given me a bag so I didn't have to carry my things to the car. She really tried to ring me up for 10 cents after my transaction. I had a card and she saw that... girl are you really going to charge my card 10 CENTS? Bye this CVS is horrendous. Didn't love this location. Though the aisles are wide, it feels like they are carrying the minimum merchandise possible, which doesn't present itself well from a first impression. I don't recall any displays which would entice me to browse, or spend additional time versus getting in and out. We were there to drop off a prescription while in the area. It was convenient to use their location while take care of other errands nearby, then coming back to pick up the filled Rx. Pick up was haphazard. They didn't offer for a pharmacist consult, which I believe ought to be customary, especially since isn't my normal CVS. Also, the pharmacy staff seemed harassed by some perceived urgency or oversight. They weren't very friendly and I didn't get a good vibe from them. I much prefer other local CVS locations. It might be hard to exactly pinpoint why, but sometimes you just get a feeling about where you feel welcome and your patronage is valued. Perhaps we just hit them at a bad day / time. It happens. The particular Sunday that we were there was not a best showing for this store and its crew. read more

They were really busy, but one of the pharmacists was really caring and took the time to show me how to use it. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this place was so frustrating. I booked a bivalent vaccine in the morning and received reminders throughout the day. Even though I don't live in Westlake, I figured the drive would be worth it to get the shot since the CVS near me didn't have it. When I arrived, I checked in on the app in the parking lot per the instructions. Once I went inside, the Minute Clinic said they didn't have the shots but that the pharmacy did. I waited in line for the pharmacy only to be told that they had no shots either. And here's the kicker: They'd known they wouldn't have any shots the night before and had "called everyone with appointments today." But I had booked the appointment the same day. If they knew that they were out the night before and wouldn't have any that day, then why did they have 10 open appointments open and STILL had those appointments available on their website when I left? It was so frustrating and I'm sure I wasn't the only person this happened to. Something is broken in their system. read more

This is a typical CVS store with clean, updated look and feel. They have a very nice selection of snacks, drinks, food items and even small pantry foods. I was surprised by the variety of mac n cheeses you could buy, and that you could get basic cooking spices here. I didn't use the pharmacy, I was just shopping for odds and ends, but they had what I needed, the lines at the front counter were short and fast, and the staff was polite and professional. read more

They are very unprofessional and unfriendly. When I moved back to California I asked them to fill four prescriptions that I had on paper. When I returned the next day to pick them up, they had no record of me or my prescriptions. I personally asked the man who had taken them and he said "Oh yeah they were from out of state so we threw them out." I'm disabled and rely on my medications. It was in my hands to fix this, so I had to transfer them here and get them filled. Why couldn't they have come up with that solution, or given me a phone call? The same problems are at the front of the store. I went in to buy some soap and as I was leaving the front checkers said "What's wrong with that guy?" and "He must be a thief." I was just wearing my mask because of COVID-19. There were only three people in the store and I was the only guy. I really didn't appreciate it, and I won't be going back there in the future. read more

I recently moved and this would be the most convenient pharmacy to me. I transfered all of my prescriptions from a great Riteaid in Moorpark to this pharmacy 3 months ago. Since then I have had nothing but problems. They lose prescriptions, give automatic refills on things I don't need and what I do want is never ready on time. The people working the counter are tolerable at best but never friendly. Each time I need to talk to a human being I have been left on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (3 times). One time after 40 minutes I got in my car and drove to the pharmacy while still on hold. At 45 minutes I got to the counter while still on hold. I complained to the manager but he barely even acknowledged my complaint. Yesterday was the last straw. I called in to order a refill in their system. I got it ordered and there was a message that I was out of refills but CVS would contact my doctor. That is fine but the minute that message came across it switched to another message that said something was wrong and they were connecting me to an associate. 46 minutes later a surly woman answered the phone only to tell me they had the information and were reaching out to the Doctor. I asked for the managers name as I had forgotten it. She told me it was David. I asked for his last name and she didn't know it. I asked her to ask someone else. She refused and after all that time on hold this wonderful woman hung up on me. This manager is the worst ever. His staff is poorly trained in dealing with customers and he has no problem leaving call-in customers on hold forever. My wife had checked reviews on yelp and the ratings are consistently low. Do yourself a favor. AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS! read more

If I could choose your stars I would get your own stars The frustration I feel is beyond, not only with this cvs. They could not care any less when it comes to filling scripts. My husband had spinal surgery and the dr sent in a script for much needed pain meds. Cvs was out, but no one is informed. Waiting in line 25 mins to find this out. Was sent to 2 other CVs locations only to end up back at the original one a day later. And NO ONE cares that my husband is in agony or that I, as his sole caregiver, have to running around to 3 locations, not to mention having to call the dr 3 times in order to get it resolved.
