On the phone and in person, Rolling Motors is very nice to deal with. However, I was looking for a new(used) car and did a lot of research on the particular model I wanted. Long story short, as nice as they were on the phone and in person, the car had a lot of problems that were not listed on their website. The second part was that the dealer was not willing to go down in price despite the numerous problems and was still asking 3,000 above the blue book value. That's way too much no matter what type of car it is. Overall, nice people and a nice place, but do your research before you buy a car to make sure you're paying the right price. Update: the car he had for sale was also mis labeled as a wrx, which instead was a wrx tr(which is less in value and has basic level interior). The yelp message the owner sent me was "nice" too. So so so happy with the 2015 A3 I purchased from Ben! I was originally looking for a Daily commuter car to drive. I drove by the lot and figured I may as-well stop in and ask if they have any good deals. These guys are a waste of time. Unprofessional and dishonest are the first adjectives that come to mind when trying to describe these guys. My first poor encounter occurred calling them to arrange a PPI for a car I intended to buy the following day. The shop I wanted the car inspected at was less than 10 minutes from their dealership and they refused to take the car to inspect it for me citing their lack of man power to do so. It takes twenty minutes to facilitate the sale of a car to a serious buyer and they were unwilling. This is after making me wait an hour and a half to receive the news they were unwilling. Good thing they were though, it saved me money. I came to take the car to get inspected when I was in the area for the weekend. It took 5 minutes to see that the car had been in a front end collision that they failed to mention and pretended they had no idea about. The body panels didn't line up and there was yellow compound on the side of the engine bay the car looked to be improperly repaired on. I'm sure they're waiting to find someone to unwittingly purchase the car for what their asking. If they were ethical business owners they'd advertise this damage to potential buyers. But they don't and they won't. Oh, if you're looking to buy their 2005 Suzuka Blue S2000, don't bother for the above reasons. These guys are a joke. read more

Today i went to Rolling motors at about 1:45pm. The door had a sign that they would return at 12pm (hours today were 12-5). But no one was there. I inspected the car i was interested in and was very very deceived from the photos on their website and craigslist ad. After about 10 mins of inspecting (i'll comment on problems not listed in the ads below). I call the phone number from yelp. A very uneasy/unhappy tone "hello rolling motors". I ask if they are open today due to the fact that no one was there during business hours. "Yes what time will you be there" is the response i received, again in a very unhappy tone. I tell him i am currently at the dealership and he disappointingly says he'll be here in 15 mins a dull good bye and hangs up. I was trying to be a happy and pleasant customer. After about thirty-five minutes, a silver SUV audi, aggressively driving pulls up and parks very very firm and aggressively right next to where i was standing. He has no courtesy or regard to my safety. He didn't even try to smile after i smiled at him. "What car are you interested in". He hands me the keys tells me to ask him any questions. He walks into the office and sits there eating his popcorn. Remember the images from their website looked like the car was in excellent condition. And i didn't mind paying for it being so. After further inspection of this 2007 wrx wagon. HOLY CRAP this car is a rust bucket. (I'll add image of under rear including exhaust piping/sway bar covered in rust). There was even rust inside the car on the hinges under the seat. (Looking under the 04/05 wrx on the lot, no rust under at all). The read diff was covered in a black oil (suppose to be metal grey). Cat fur everywhere. I opened both coolant reservoirs to find that it was not 50/50 water coolant, but more like 90/10 water coolant (not an exaggeration). That wouldn't make the car overheat or anything for the test drive. The worst part was that the oil had some kind of leak in it. Pulling up the dip stick to find that the oil was way above both lines, and it smelled very very very wrong. And the oil looked like no one had changed it in over 7k miles, DIRTY! And the rims had curb rash around at least 60% of every rim. Tires balding, no tools in the spare compartment. And the spare was almost bald too!!! So i ask to take it for a test drive. Rudely asking for a copy of my ID. Then compares it to previous people's photo copies (why does he still have those). After he pulls the car out. I drive it and it seems fine, minus all of the cheap mods the previous owner installed. My friend said that there was black smoke coming out of the back when i took off, waaadddaafffuuqq??? I decided not to buy this trap. Leaving the place i thought i forgot my ID. And i politely asked if he had it. Very angrily he told me that he gave it back (which he did). So i walked out and found it in my pocket as i left. Noticing that another customer took a car for a test drive and the power steering on the lexus IS was not working so the sales guy came out with very cheap quality power steering fluid and filled it up. OVERALL. My theory is, since this place sells cars that a younger person would like (all of the 3 customers that i saw there), such as s2k, wrx, old m3, IS300, mitata, etc. along with tucks. That this dealer cheaply fixes these cars cutting sooo many corners. This way it drives well during the test drive and a lot of people do not check the car's mechanical details such as fluids, under the car, etc. They would be able to sell a car that "looks and drives sound" to someone who likes the appearance or speed of the car. And next year, wham the car has more issues than one could imagine. Their cars would be problem free for 4 months (hence their 3 month warranty free). The vibe and the cars here were just too fishy (and rusty) for me. Basically stay away from these con men! Wouldn't be surprised if they try to get this post removed. read more
