Our problem came when we tried to get the free service that came with our 2-year/25,000 mile warranty. We tried to make an appointment for the 5,000 mile because we were contacted by Olivia James. She referred us to a website to make the appointment that did not work. Two and a half weeks later, the website started working again, and we made the service appointment. The 5,000 mile service was supposed to include a tire rotation and other tire pressure/fluid checks. The appointment took 2 hours and 40 minutes, and they did not rotate the tires. We complained as follows: First, we complained via web form to the service manager, we have lost the name. (I just tried to look up his name and the current service manager is not the same person we tried to contact.) That complaint was ignored. Second, we complained via web form to the general manager, Sukino Chu. That complaint was also ignored. Third, we complained via web form to Toyota Corporate via the US Toyota website. They bounced us back to Putnam Toyota, and we talked Louise Boteo. She basically blew us off by saying they no longer had video of the appointment after 2 months. We responded that they had ignored our complaints for 2 months, and that we had paperwork from them proving that the tire rotation was not done. She had no response to that. read more
