We really appreciated the service advisor Chris. He was responsive and helpful when we brought in our 2007 Porsche Carrera 911 Manual. Positive and friendly attitude! There are other service advisors at other auto dealerships who treat their clients in a snooty and stuck-up manner. Not here! Thank you Chris! Keep up the great work!

Courteous. Professional. And busy. It's no wonder that this location is especially busy because, well, they are. The quality and the professionalism of the staff can't be understated. I made the silly mistake of losing the key fob for a loaner car that I had from them . And even though I'm based in San Francisco, the folks here were able to ferry me the extra key so I could use the car - good thing I found that other key because they're expensive to replace. But that and being super friendly and courteous to my four legged family member gives them super high marks in my book. Also, I did get my latest electric car here in the process was smooth, easy, and affordable.

rear differential bearing shim…read more Last week we were replacing outer rear differential bearings on my work truck.  When we took it apart the bearing shim was broken with is probably the reason the bearings went out.  I searched all over for that shim and noone could help.  I traveled all around the Bay Area looking for this shim.  I finally ended up at Napa Auto Parts in Burlingame and Ken and Mike were just amazing.  First they identified the part for me which noone else could.  They then sent me to the GMC dealership across the street to get the part number.  GM said they came in 7 different sizes and GM left it up to me to figure that out.  I took the one part that I had back to Ken and Mike and with a micrometer they were able to identify which one I needed.  They helped me order what I needed and now I will be receiving my parts tomorrow.  The only other option for me would have been to send my old work van to the dealership and probably spend $3000 to fix a van that is only worth about $5000.  Thanks to Ken and Mike I just might get another 6 months out of this van until I buy a new one.  If you're ever stuck on an automotive job and you're not sure what to do, dont waste your time, go straight to Napa Auto Parts in Burlingame and ask for Ken or Mike.

Had the worst customer service experience here, specifically with Antonio. I came at 6pm on a…read moreMonday to get a check engine light diagnosis and Antonio refused me service due to the fact there were only 2 people working. That didn't make sense to me, but he told me to come back the next day and I confirmed with him that 7:30am would be okay when the manager opens the store. I came back at 7:30am and was refused service again due to the fact that only the manager was there which was more understandable, but I was already frustrated that I took 2 times out of my schedule to come here. He told me I can come anytime in the evening when there's more than one person and that what Antonio had told me was incorrect. So I returned yet again after work at 5:30pm on Tuesday. Antonio was very rude and tried to refuse me service again because there was only him and Luis working (which was a lie). Only after I told him that I spoke with the manager did he disappear into the back and bring out a 3rd staff member, Augusto, to help me. There's no reason why it took 3 separate visits to be able to get this service done, especially given that it literally takes less than 5 minutes. I've gone to other O'Reillys before and have never had this issue. I would definitely not recommend this location and will not be returning.

My husband and I started looking for a truck and visited another dealership in Daly City--let's just say my fears were instantly confirmed. We left as fast as we could. But then we went to Putnam GMC, and everything changed the moment we met Nimer Massis. We arrived late in the evening and were admiring a beautiful blue GMC truck when Nimer walked over--kind, calm, and never pushy. He even showed us additional options in the back lot. It was getting dark, so we told him we'd return the next day after church. When we came back, he already had a truck ready for us--because he listened to everything we told him the night before. The blue one we saw had sold, but he found something that matched exactly what we wanted. Once inside, he patiently went over different down-payment options and terms. We changed our minds multiple times, and he printed out every quote without hesitation. He treated us like family, genuinely trying to help us, not sell to us. If we had been working with anyone else, we probably wouldn't have bought a truck that day--but Nimer's kindness, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. The finance manager, Raj Balakrishnan, was just as wonderful. And every staff member we interacted with was friendly and caring. If you want a salesperson who listens, doesn't pressure you, and actually wants you to be happy with what you buy, go see Nimer at Putnam GMC. He is, without a doubt, the best salesperson I have ever worked with and now we have another best friend! Ask for Nimer -- you won't regret it!

I took my Chevy Volt in for routine maintenance. When the agent called me to come pick the car up,…read morethey told me that they had broken my windshield (!) but that it was still driveable. They would fix it for free when a new windshield arrived (as if they were doing me a favor). The first thing I noticed when I got back in the car was that, someone had rifled through my glove compartment and the rear compartment in the trunk (narcan, which I always carry, was on the car seat and my electric tire pump had been moved to the floor of the trunk). THen, as soon as I started driving, I noticed the check engine light was on. I called. They encouraged me to keep driving it saying "it would likely just go off". The car drove well on the electric motor but, when it switched to the engine, it started to stall and smell like something was burning (thankfully, it didn't actually catch on fire). Also, the windshield kept cracking more and more as I used the windshield wipers. I took it back in. During maintenance, they had broken a seal that then killed the catalytic converter which, in testing it, was glowing red hot. Cats for mechanics. Putnam did fix both things for free but it took 3 weeks. They never called me with updates, even when they said they would. On the plus side, they were generous in giving me a rental and some leeway in when I could pick up the repaired car. Nevertheless, this was not the first time I had trouble with Putnam. It is the last time.
