    This is my 3rd buying experience with Putnam Mazda, and I just want to give everyone a huge heads up if you are looking to purchase a Mazda... Buy from this dealership! Very transparent on their pricing, no one was pushy, fair trade value on trade in vehicle and everyone I have dealt with at this dealership has been very friendly - sales staff is great, managers both for sales and service are very helpful, service staff, parts department and even the finance managers- excellent overall experience! I can't recommend Putnam enough! One last thing, if you want to purchase here, ask for Vasily Rozhkov. He will get you the best deal available, and is very knowledgeable and passionate about everything Mazda. He wants you to be very happy with your purchase/lease and welcome you to the Mazda family.     Very Disappointed with Putnam Mazda and Mazda Customer Service I purchased a brand new Mazda CX-30 in 2021 from Putnam Mazda, only driving around 4 years and less than 12,000 miles , I noticed paint issues on the vehicle. The car is still well within the warranty period (under 36,000 miles), but the dealership refused to take responsibility, claiming it was not a quality issue. Instead of helping me resolve this under warranty, they told me to contact Mazda directly. I did, but unfortunately, Mazda also refused to accept responsibility. After weeks of back-and-forth, neither the dealership nor Mazda offered any real support or solution. I also bring my car to JP auto body shop to check, they also told me it should be the terrible paint issue from Mazda, need to go back to dealership to ask them to cover the warranty. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and poor customer service from both Putnam Mazda and Mazda USA. I expected much better from a brand that claims to stand behind its vehicles. I will not recommend this dealership or brand to others, and I regret choosing Mazda for my vehicle.

    We had a great experience here at Putnam Mazda special thanks to Vasily for making the entire transaction smooth and stress free. Vasily was extremely helpful and patient in showing us the Mazda CX-50 Premium Plus, which was the model we wanted. Although they didn't have the exact color we were looking for in stock, he took the time to show us similar model line in the color we wanted never rushing us or being pushy just to make a sale. His professionalism and customer first approach made a big difference. Highly recommended!

    This was my first time navigating the process of buying a new car, and I was definitely dreading it after hearing about all the horror stories people have had at dealerships. I'm happy to say that my process was smooth and easy with my salesperson Justin. From the start, I was reaching out to a number of dealerships in the Bay and SoCal, and Justin was definitely the most engaged and prompt with their responses, and immediately hit me with a very competitive price. Getting in a test drive was easy and quick, and at no point during the buying process did I feel I was being pressured or averted away from what I wanted. Justin was easy to work with and very accommodating of what I was asking for, and I didn't need to watch out for any BS added on. I simply let him know what I wanted, and he gave me a direct out-the-door price and we were able to move forward from there pretty smoothly. All in all, a pretty painless process, and I was able to walk away with a brand new Mazda3 after a few hours. Even after my purchase, Justin has gone the extra mile in making an effort to reach out and check-in. I would definitely recommend Putnam Mazda and am grateful my first dealership experience went as well as it did.

    Jacob Candiotti. He's the guy. Big kudos to Josh and Cartier, too. Jacob helped me drive away in a PHEV (which I thought I could *never* afford.) I was not even in the market to upgrade. I had a year left on my CX-30 lease. He is not a slick snake charmer sales guy. (I find it difficult to put my trust and wallet in the hands of a male salesman who uses slippery tactics.) Jacob is not that kinda guy. He is relatable. And he *loves* what he does. And, clearly, he is good at it. He achieved his objective and made me a happy customer. All the while being respectful and a good listener. Jacob's niche is Leasing and PHEV. There are lots of rebates and incentives right now. I traded in my sporty CX-30 at year 2 of my 3 year lease. I am now driving a 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV Premium. If you have ever considered making the move to a Plug In Electric Vehicle (Hybrid), speak with Jacob at Putnam Mazda in Burlingame.     $360 dollars to unscrew a maf sensor and put in a new one? Scam.

    Brought in a Mazda 3 that stalled while driving in the middle of the road. I towed the car to their shop and I paid for a $200 diagnostic. The conclusion of their diagnostic stated that the throttle body had buildup and the MAF sensor was broken. They wanted me to pay over 2000 dollars to replace the MAF and throttle body assembly. All that actually needed to be done was clean the throttle body with a 4 dollar can of cleaner and replace a $150 Mazda brand part which required removing 2 phillips head screws. When I refused the service and came to pick up the car the battery was completely dead. I'm not understanding why they completely drained my battery; and I was forced to buy a new one. Horrible experience which completely ruined my trust with this business. Every other mazda dealer I have been to has been top notch and even provided pictures of the parts/condition of the car. I had to repeatedly ask for the results of the diagnostic work done to find the problem. $360 dollars in labor to replace a sensor attached with 2 philips head screws? The proof is in the paperwork. Go somewhere else, this place is a scam and untrustworthy. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

David explained the technician would take a look at my concern and get back to me shortly with a diagnosis and plan for repair if needed. Three hours later, I received a call from David with a clear update on what they found and the next steps for repair. When I initially arrived, he asked if I had an extended warranty so he could start a claim. By the time he followed up, he had already taken care of everything and was just waiting for approval, which I really appreciated. About an hour later, David called back to let me know the warranty work had been approved. He also informed me that the required part had been ordered and was expected to arrive Friday or possibly Monday. I let him know they could keep the truck over the weekend, with the hope it would be ready sometime the following week. To my surprise, I received a call from David at 3:30 p.m. the very next day (Friday) letting me know the repair was already completed and my vehicle was ready for pickup at my convenience. Talk about fast and efficient service! When I arrived to pick up my truck, I was greeted by Kevin, who seamlessly handled the checkout process and personally brought my vehicle up for me. After dealing with less-than-great service at other local dealerships, I decided to give Putnam Chrysler Dodge a try--and I'm beyond impressed! I waited until 330 and went inside the lobby. Another advisor kindly decided to help me. I showed him the issue (water condensation inside the light of a 4 month old Cadillac). He said that it would go away after a couple of days. I informed him it's been that way for 1.5 weeks. He then informed me that it was common for all of their cars including corvettes. I then informed him that I'd go to another dealer who actually cared. I went to the SSF Cadillac location this morning, and they were prompt, helpful, and the warranty part will arrive on Monday. Honestly, Joe Putnam would be embarrassed at how badly the service has degraded at his dealership. I would skip this location in the future and recommend servicing your vehicle elsewhere.

Noe Sanchez was the sales person and he was knowledgeable, affable and considerate. Raj, the finance manager, was great despite having to fight with some of the worst software I've dealt with in a long time (No fault of Raj's, the software crashed on him multiple times during the signing process). Even so, Raj and I had a nice conversation and I was done and out in a reasonable amount of time.
