DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR HERE -- BE CAREFUL This dealership tried to lowball me by $4,000 compared to other dealers. They initially offered $18,000, while other dealers were offering around $22,000. After I showed them proof of the Toyota quote, they finally agreed to $20,500. Then they made me wait an entire week, asking me to send more quotes from other dealers ( which is ridiculous). Meanwhile, the sales manager is never even in the store and works from home, apparently only showing up once a week to look at cars. After all that waiting, they were still bargaining over $500. I originally bought this car for around $60,000, and this experience was extremely disappointing. Instead of treating a loyal customer with respect, they wasted my time trying to push the price down. If you are servicing your Lexus here, read every line item on the repair order carefully before signing anything. I came in for a Lexus Service Bulletin and was assigned Jason Chen as my Service Advisor. While my car was also due for routine maintenance, I later noticed the repair order included extra services like a engine flush that were never discussed. Keep in mind my car was at 20k miles and was only due for a 24 month service. These extra services are not on the service manual. I approved the work thinking it was just an oil change and addressing a recall. Looking back, it felt like Jason was more interested in increasing his commission than in what was actually necessary. Jason acted like he knew more about my car and did not take the time to have a real conversation. From my family's perspective, he takes advantage of non-English speaking customers to notice the extra charges on their repair orders. When my family showed me their repairs orders written by Jason, it raised serious concerns about fairness and transparency. Come in for brakes and rotors, expect to leave with additional repairs outside of the scope of repairs. I was the one paying the repair bills for my family and noticed the patterns. No courtesy vehicle was offered, I was told to use Enterprise and the rental will be charged to my repair bill because "corporate" seems like a poor excuse for a luxury dealership. On top of that, their Sales Associate Nick Hart pushed aggressively trying to get me to bring my car back to sell me a new one. What was supposed to be a quick five-minute call turned into a one-hour sales pitch. He called and emailed every single day and was also able to reach my boss at one point, which I found completely unprofessional and crossed the line. For the record, Nick was not the original sales associate that sold me my Lexus, that person actually still worked at Lexus of Serramonte. After these experiences, I stopped going to Lexus of Serramonte and took my business to Lexus of Marin, also owned by the Sonic Automotive Group but offering a much better experience. Between the upselling, poor communication, lack of amenities, pushy sales tactics, and the way some customers are taken advantage of, I cannot recommend Lexus of Serramonte. No point in responding to my review, as I already brought this up to their General Managers and it appears to be a revolving door at that office. read more

My advisor, Allister, was very communicative and kept me updated as to the progress of the service. It was quick, less than 2-hours total. He also booked me a complementary Uber ride home because the shuttles were too far away. During the initial test drive of similar model, Nicholas was knowledgeable and provided honest opinions on the different NX 350H Basic/Premium features based on past customer feedback. Such input definitely helped us better analyze the pricing tradeoffs. Although there was a couple of days delay in the car delivery to the dealership location, Nicholas made sure the service on the day of our car pickup was smooth and also reiterated the different features including setting up the Lexus mobile app. For the final add ons of financing terms, servicing, GAP coverage, etc. we were assisted by Gustavo. I recently purchased a vehicle from Lexus of Serramonte and highly recommend Dehwey as your go to. I had been searching for almost a year, trying to get an allocation on a GX550. I was looking in other states, but was not able to get an allocation with the desired spec. If I was able to, it was marked up or had crazy options added. Stopping by Lexus of Serramonte on a whim, I was immediately greeted by Dehwey. I told him what I was looking for, exchanged contact info, not really expecting to gain much traction knowing how hot the market for these vehicles were, as well as I am sure a lengthy waitlist. Within a few days, he texted me saying that he was able to swap allocations and if I was interested. The car had everything I needed, didn't have crazy added on options, and most importantly was at MSRP. I committed and recently took delivery. He was supposed to be off that day, but still came in. The transaction/paperwork part took half an hour, and then Dehwey took about good 45 minutes walking me through the options, syncing up my app, etc. He even waited for me to fill up so I could be the one to drive it to the gas station. The car market is different now than when I bought my first car as with this model; there really is no negotiation. I was told when I made my service appointment that this dealership honored lithium oil change contracts. When I got here, I was told they did not. When they gave me the loaner, they said I had to return it 88% full. I looked at the gas gauge before I left the dealership And it was at 88%. What that means is they expect me to pay for every drop of gas that I use. I also had a Peiling info screen and they said they would fix it as best they could. Since I have an extended warranty for everything in the car from Lexus, fixing it as well as they can isn't good enough in my opinion. I paid a lot for that warranty. My first experience on Friday morning at this dealer's parts department and it could've been better. I went in to get transmission and differential fluid for an upcoming maintenance. I asked the older gentlemen at the counter how many quarts I needed and he asked his colleague which he replied 4. He goes in the back to get tbe merchandise and comes back with a box. What a day, what a day. We spent most of our day going up and down Serramonte car dealerships. We ended up at Lexus of Serramonte. We were debating a new hybrid Honda or a used hybrid Lexus. We were at the lot looking around and Tyler came out to help us. We asked about hybrid vehicles and he provided a lot of information. During the test drive he drove the first half and explained the features the Lexus UX has. Too much for me to explain, but it was definitely very thorough. The part that blew my mind was that the vehicle's smart enough to auto slow and stop during cruise control by sensing the vehicle in front. Technology nowadays, sheesh. When we were waiting for our turn for the financing/signing portions, we checked out the lounge. There were TVs, restrooms, hot/cold water dispenser, and a coffee/hot chocolate machine. I had two cup of hot cocoa . We also traded in her old 2006 Honda Accord. We had a really good deal and a positive experience. He made me believe that their dealership was part of Sonic group and hence he could get me car from Lexus of Marin. I had requested a specific Lexus and then he said it was no longer available as a customer had a hold on it. I called Lexus of Marin and they said there was no hold, the car was available for purchase. Victor said he has been doing this for 12 years. While Lexus has always had great service and we've had good experiences during the buying process, our time with Fernando Ferran has been the best of all time. He was friendly, courteous, and absolutely went above and beyond. My parents needed to get a new car and I had found the car with the specs they wanted at Lexus of Serramonte, I told my dad to give them a call and see if it was available since they all go so quickly. Fernando took the time to look everything up for my dad and went over all the features with him to make sure it had everything he wanted. He sent over everything so quickly by email and text and then took the time to meet with my parents in person and get everything finalized. He put the car on hold and didn't even require a deposit, which we always have had to do in the past in other dealerships if the car wasn't already on the lot. Another important part was that he also gave them a great deal and a generous discount for being a returning customer. Other dealerships weren't giving anything close to that! Fernando kept us informed and gave us constant updates of when the car was shipped and when it would be delivered. He genuinely cares about his customers and making sure everything goes smoothly. Here's everything wrong with my preowned vehicle from Lexus of Serramonte in Sep 2025. My sales person and finance manager were great initially. Review reflects the condition of the vehicle, inadequate service center, and lack of response post transaction. 1) Dealer shares a list of all work done in their service center prior to listing for sale. In this case AC condenser was replaced. I barely made it home, and the engine was overheating. My mechanic found that wiring was reinstalled incorrectly, so the engine fan wasn't coming on. 2) Car came with 8 year old tires which were already cracking on the side wall. Car vibrating on the freeway, I didn't catch this during the test drive because they just had me drive backroads around the auto mall. 3) Rotors are warped, vibrates badly at freeway speeds. 4) Left tail light bulb was out. On their site, all used vehicles will show tons of documentation and inspection paperwork stating everything is in acceptable condition. In my case, this was all useless. I had to spend a few thousand dollars after a week of ownership, just to make the vehicle safe to drive. I reached out to Lexus Serramonte to ask to at least cover the $150 mechanic bill for the wiring mishap. No response. I have documentation for all of my claims, and I'm happy to share with anyone who is interested. After dozens of car purchases, I felt better about the level of service and quality of cars at "premium" dealerships. Save yourself some trouble and just buy from CarMax. Visited the dealership a couple months ago to look at used cars after reviewing their inventory online. Arrived, parked and motivated, and saw a young sales guy (forgot his name) looking at his phone the front of the store. So I got his attention and asked him about the cars I was interested in. So he goes inside to the grab the keys. When he comes out one key worked so I could look at a Highlander. But with the NX I was also interested in the keys were wrong. So he had to go back inside and get the correct keys. Comes back, opens the door and the car didn't start. It needed a jump. So we went to look at other cars instead. I asked about an RX and he said he'd get the keys. So as I wait I see him speaking to someone that drove onto the lot. I think it was his mother. I patiently waited but he didn't seem in any hurry to help me. So my wife and I left without the used Highlander I was really interested in. Instead we bought a new Toyota Venza elsewhere. The windshield the dealer ordered for my car had manufacture defects on it all over the top molding area. They then had a third party vendor unassociated with Lexus Corp to install it anyways without performing quality control. Yes you heard that correct that Lexus employees do not change your windshield here at Serramonte Lexus. The third party vendor installed it crooked on top of that. I asked them to pull a dent out of the car on the passenger front door, all they needed to do was pull the trim panel to gain access. They instead drilled a hole in the door shell at a critical safety crush zone for the car to save time and money. They also used a third party for the dent removal, not a Lexus employee. They refused to cover the windshield part Warranty and used the excuse that my car is a salvage title. That's not how that works. If the part comes with a defect before installing it on the car that's the fault of the manufacturing of that part, not my car. The service manager Brian said it himself they were having issues with glass quality and sent me videos showing the NEW windshield they ordered again not having the defect like the one they put on my car. They wanted me to sign an NDA so I wouldn't expose them for who they are. I refused and walked They don't care about you. They just want your money. I trusted Kristian and Brian in service since I've spent thousands with them. The managers did not want to help me with the windshield. I filed a complaint with the BAR against them. Even if this review voids my case with BAR I don't care because Lexus of Serramonte should be called out for their garbage service. Shame on you guys read more

From the very first day I walked into Lexus through the delivery of the car, Tyler was extremely professional, patient, and responsive. I walked in with the intention of browsing, not buying. I was transparent about this, yet he still treated me well. I appreciated that Tyler actively listened to my concerns and desires for my next car. He made a note of what I wanted and didn't want. He persistently followed up with me without being too pushy. He answered many of my questions (both in email, text, and in-person), questions that were obvious and already previously said. There was a point in our conversation where I found a better offer somewhere else and I asked if he could match it. He told me he could not and even encouraged me to go with the other offer. I thought the relationship would end there. However, Tyler surprised me and found a car that fitted (and exceeded) my needs at an incredible price a few days later. I brought my NX250 in for some minor issues but also a maintenance service visit. Met with Service Consultant Pete McConnell. Things were pretty busy and hectic but Pete made time for me and listened to my concerns. Pete set me up with an appointment and was great as my car was dropped off for the service visit. Pete arranged for me to be taken home and he kept me advised of the progress via direct phone calls and text. I greatly appreciated the customer focus that Pete demonstrated. When picking up my car, Pete personally delivered my car along with explaining all that was done. I will have to return as some parts had to be ordered and Pete will advise me when they arrive.
