As a Returning customer for over 40 years since my E430 and E350 now servicing my new GLC 300. My service advisor Mr Joe Leung and the team at Autobahn Motors Service Center in Belmont are always professional and transparent. Great to have such a reliable service center so close to my home in Hillsborough. 5 stars! read more

Had my eye on a car on their lot for about a month. Once I got comfortable with making a purchase I contacted Jonathan Coppedge who I had previously talked to about this car. We did all the negotiations before I even went in. Met with him this morning upon opening, did a test drive, and knew it was the car for us. No overselling, no pushiness, and hands down the BEST dealership experience I ever had. The car is great too! I definitely recommend them if you need a vehicle. read more

Everytime I drop my 2016 GL450 here for service, I get an initial quote after checking in the car which is standard. Then, once they have my car, I receive a report recommending "critical" repairs with a revised total 4-5x the original quote and I get push back from the rep when I choose to decline the recommendations. All services are also overpriced - I was quoted $900 to replace an auxiliary battery. I was able to buy the battery directly from mercedes online for $100 and replaced it myself after watching a 3 minute YouTube video. I don't know if their service people work on commissions but it sure seems like it, which would to me be unethical. I only take my car here out of convenience and because my car rarely requires service but I'm over it. Can someone please recommend a better shop in the Bay that doesn't charge out the axx and doesn't try to upsale you? read more

Fifteen years a customer at Autobahn Motors, and today's experience reminded me exactly why. Picked up a new GLE Coupe 53 and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. Mike made it a genuine pleasure -- knowledgeable, no pressure, and just an all-around great guy to work with. Lakshay in finance was excellent too, making that side of things smooth and straightforward. And a shout-out to Skip in the service center, who's been part of why I keep coming back year after year. If you're looking for a dealership that treats you right over the long haul, this is the one. Highly recommend. read more

recommend making an appointment to view cars...finding a sales consultant on a walk-in can be difficult...after about 3 visits, finally connected with jorge to view a couple models and test drive a few new mercedes...casual and comfortable...decided on a model, color and options...feeras stepped in and after a short conversation, willing to give a good price...only issue was the exact vehicle was not available and might be difficult to locate...after few weeks, jorge located the exact vehicle from another dealership...quickly discussed pricing and agreed to purchase subject to feeras approving the price offered...jorge drove the vehicle to the dealership and it was perfect...feeras agreed to the price and sent to financing to do the paperwork...lot of new electronics in these new vehicles, so took the extra warranty...service, price and finalizing the purchase was smooth and easy...allowed to pay by credit card for a portion (just for points)...purchasing experience was fantastic... vehicle service and maintenance can be a bit confusing...random calls from autobahn staff to schedule service and obviously reading a script about special pricing they can provide...the only issue is that the vehicle is not even close to the date or mileage for needing service...kindly reminded the staff calling that the vehicle is not due for service...oddly, the staff again reads the same script instead of having a conversation or explaining why a service is needed early...ended the conversation on most cold calls...appointment for actual service when needed is smooth and easy, but communication with some of the service staff can be confusing...just need to know what is part of the regular service and what are optional/not necessary....price can balloon up...some staff are great and straightforward like jimmy...but, dislike the 3% credit card use charge...seems petty... read more

David Chao did a great job with helping my mom lease a 2026 E350 earlier this week. We were also extremely grateful that he took the time to explain the car in great detail. Thank you! read more

EMAIL TIMELINE OF AUTOBAHN MOTORS' DECEPTION & RETALIATION (CASE #21543545) If you want to know how Autobahn Motors and Mercedes-Benz USA operate, read the chronological trail of my email/text records for my 2022 GLC 300 Coupe (Case #21543545). They compromise consumer safety. Here is the day-by-day proof: * EARLY MAY - PROACTIVE CALL: Before booking, I called Advisor Reed Paulsen. I detailed a history of unresolved electrical faults (phantom parking sensors triggering at any speed and Keyless-Go disconnects) that a previous dealer failed to fix since December, establishing context for this corporate case. * MAY 8 (Fri, 11:13 AM) - SAFETY EMERGENCY: One week later, my engine violently shook on the freeway, threw a Check Engine Light, and dropped into "Limp Mode," losing acceleration in live traffic. I rushed it to Autobahn. I emailed detailing the failure, noting it matched the M264 Exhaust Valve System Warranty Extension/Recall, and requested a loaner. * MAY 14 (Thu, 11:51 AM) - INVOICE REQUEST: They held my car for 1.5 weeks. I emailed following up on conflicting quote/ready notifications. I asked 4 transparency questions and begged for my itemized Repair Order (RO) invoice to see the specific diagnostic fault codes. * MAY 15 TO 19 - 4 DAYS OF SILENCE: My request was met with total radio silence. For four straight days, Autobahn Motors refused to respond or provide my required invoice. * MAY 15 (Fri, 6:28 PM) - WORK TRAVEL NOTICE: During this silence, I emailed Reed and Jovis Leung letting them know I had to fly out of state to Atlanta for a work trip until late Tuesday night. I asked them to keep the car safely parked until I got back to review the missing paperwork. They ignored it and sent no invoice. * MAY 19 (Tue, 5:03 PM) - HOSTILE ULTIMATUM: While I was traveling back, Manager Jovis Leung sent a cold email. He dismissed my video evidence of the electrical safety defects, claiming they "were unable to duplicate the Keyless-Go and Parktronic." He claimed the engine was fixed under warranty but refused to attach the specific fault codes, demanding I return the loaner "ASAP." * MAY 20 (Wed, 5:35 PM) - LOGISTICS EXCHANGE: The morning I returned, the dealership sent a delivery driver to my house to drop off my vehicle and pick up the loaner. I cooperated fully. I then formally escalated the lack of paperwork to MBUSA Management, detailing how unacceptable it was to hide my itemized paperwork and demand a vehicle swap without a safe repair plan. * JUNE 1 (Mon, 2:55 PM) - FALSE REASSURANCE: Sloane, an Executive Referral Manager from MBUSA Care Center, emailed stating she engaged Autobahn's management team to ensure my vehicle would be thoroughly evaluated and handled with appropriate care during my next visit. * EARLY JUNE - REPAIR FAILURE IN TRAFFIC: Relying on Autobahn being the first and only shop to claim they "fixed" the engine misfire, I drove it. The repair failed immediately. On the freeway, the exact same violent shaking and dangerous power loss occurred in live traffic. I contacted them live from the road. On Friday, the advisor stated they saved a vehicle for me. On Saturday morning, prior to booking a tow, I explicitly asked their representative: "Will someone bring a vehicle to my house in Pacifica?" They explicitly promised YES. Securing mobility was my entire condition for dropping the car off. * JUNE 6 (Sat, 10:52 AM) - PRE-MEDITATED BAIT-AND-SWITCH: The exact second the tow truck dropped my car on their lot, they pulled a predatory trap. Once they had my vehicle, Reed Paulsen emailed: "As to a loaner vehicle, we are not required to provide one... based on your last visit, we will not provide a courtesy vehicle." Staff called and stated I was "blacklisted" because I previously demanded transparency. Director Nicholas Serrano was CC'ed and allowed this retaliation. They lied about the loaner to get my keys, leaving me stranded at home in Pacifica without access to my medical prescriptions. Reed refused to tow my car back, writing: "I cannot provide a tow back to your home... you should have returned to that same dealer." I had to pay out-of-pocket for a private flatbed truck to rescue my car under a strict "Do Not Touch" directive. * THE CORPORATE COVER-UP: Mercedes-Benz Corporate called late at night to state they closed my case based on the managers' false narrative that I "refused to return the car" in May--completely fabricating a story to cover up a failed safety repair and a dealer bait-and-switch when I literally handed the keys to their own delivery driver the morning I got back. Avoid this dealer! There was absolutely no investigation. They didn't ask me for any information, nor requested my email/call logs, & completely ignored my flight details. They simply rubber-stamped a fabricated story to protect themselves. By covering up this deceptive bait-and-switch & refusing to document THEIR own FAILED REPAIR & actively put my life & everyone else's on the freeway at risk! read more

We had the worst experience buying a car at the Belmont Mercedes dealership. From the sales managers, to the sales person to the service people... they are all terrible. It was the worst buying experience I've had ever. Just thinking about it bothers me so much. Came to buy a car in January 2026, and it was like pulling teeth for anything to be done. If I didn't like the car so much I would have left. They lie and change their minds often for every little step. It's really so annoying and hard to forget. My advice is to avoid this location at all costs, and visit ANY other location. read more

All names mentioned below were obtained directly from Autobahn Motors public website, where employee names and photos are publicly displayed. I spoke over the phone with Austin Shui from Autobahn Motors on June 11, 2026, regarding a used vehicle listed for over $31,000. I informed him that I would be traveling from out of state and planned to arrive at the dealership when they opened at 9:00 AM on June 13, 2026, prepared to purchase the vehicle with cash. After our conversation, I sent Austin a list of questions about the vehicle and requested additional photos. While he did send some photos, he never responded to my questions. The next day, June 12, I received a call from a different salesperson who goes Matt (aka Mathew) who informed me that another buyer was looking at the vehicle and that it would most likely be sold. This was extremely frustrating because I had specifically asked Austin whether the vehicle could be held and even offered to leave a refundable deposit. He never responded to that request. The other salesperson later explained that the dealership does not reserve vehicles, which is information Austin should have clearly communicated during our initial conversation. I had waited 18 years to own this particular model and was fully committed to purchasing it. As a serious buyer, I invested a significant amount of time preparing for the transaction. I contacted the manufacturer's corporate customer service to check for outstanding recalls, obtained insurance estimates, completed and signed online dealership paperwork, coordinated with a nearby bank to prepare funds, and gathered all necessary documents for the purchase. In total, I spent more than 7 hours preparing for what I fully expected would be a completed purchase the following morning. The lack of communication and transparency was disappointing and left me feeling that my time was not respected. Had I been told upfront that the vehicle could not be held and was still actively being marketed to other buyers, I could have made an informed decision about whether to continue investing my time. Matt the salesperson who called me said he would call back within 30 minutes, but after over hour passed with no update, I called the dealership myself. I asked to speak with Austin Shiu and was told he had already left for the day. The dealership then confirmed that the vehicle had been sold. I called Austin on his cellphone to find out what happened and why didn't he reach out to me but he had no remorse. As a potential first-time customer to this dealership, this experience has left a very negative impression. Autobahn Motors lost a sale due to poor communication and a lack of follow-through. I hope management takes this as an opportunity to better train their sales staff to communicate clearly and set proper expectations for customers, especially those traveling from out of state. read more

My husband and I truly can't say enough good things about our experience at Autobahn Motors. This was hands down one of the best car-buying experiences we've ever had, and it's entirely because of the incredible team; Jaime, Niko, Feeras, and Carol. Jaime and Niko were absolutely outstanding. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely taken care of. Jaime worked closely with us over multiple days, taking the time to really understand what we wanted, while Niko stepped in seamlessly to support us and help move everything forward. There was never any pressure, just honest conversations, patience, and a real effort to help us get exactly what we were looking for. What made this experience especially meaningful was the continuity and personal touch. We've worked with Autobahn Motors in the past and even came in previously without purchasing. During that visit, Feeras referred us to Jaime and when we came back this time, Jaime remembered us and remembered exactly what we were interested in. That level of care and attention truly stood out and made us feel valued as returning clients. They didn't just help us get what we wanted, they helped us get more! One of the highlights for us was the thoughtful surprise of an AMG package instead of the usual keychains, which was such a cool and unexpected touch and really showed how much they care about the experience, not just the transaction. We've purchased multiple Mercedes vehicles in the past, including from the Fremont and Sacramento locations, but the experience we had here was on a completely different level, truly not comparable. That difference is exactly why we continue coming back to Autobahn Motors in Belmont. Feeras played a huge role in helping make this deal come together. Even though working through the numbers can naturally be stressful, his support, honesty, and persistence truly helped turn our dream car into a reality, and we genuinely appreciate the effort he put in behind the scenes. And Carol, where do I even start? Carol Wong can do no wrong lol. She handled our paperwork and warranty packages and somehow managed to make the entire process fun. She is knowledgeable, hilarious, and an absolute joy to work with. Signing paperwork has never been that enjoyable. We drove away in a fully loaded 2025 GLC 63S, and we couldn't be happier. We're beyond excited to enjoy this car and already know we'll be back when it's time to upgrade to our GLE 63S. Thank you again to Jaime, Niko, Feeras, and Carol for such an amazing experience. We are truly grateful for all the hard work, time, and care you put into this deal. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and an even more successful New Year!! We will absolutely continue coming back and recommending Autobahn Motors to everyone we know. read more

Beware dishonest service department technicians are required to up sale a minimum of 6 hrs a day so if your vehicle is the only car that technician gets be ready to hear about "what your car needs" when in reality it does not need it did you purchase extended car warranty with your vehicle if so do not take your car here the third party company is not accepting warranty jobs that consist of leaks unless it is leaking a lot which that is not when a vehicle should be serviced they have summited so many jobs that should have not been serviced just to get easy paid jobs you would be surprised what they do for customers as long as they don't leave a bad review thousands of dollars in repairs they give away because of there dishonest and over priced service they end up trying to charge customers at the end read more

That's what happens when you lie to your customers, they are the reason people don't like going to dealer I first contacted them on Monday, 03/16/2026, about a GLS, and a salesperson named Austin was assisting me. By Wednesday, 03/18/2026, we had agreed on the terms of the deal. Based on that agreement, I submitted all required documents, including my personal information, credit application, and driver's license, expecting the paperwork to be completed promptly. That's when everything went downhill. Starting 03/18 and continuing into 03/19, I kept being told they were "extremely busy" and couldn't get to my deal. This repeated excuse quickly became questionable, especially given the lack of any real progress or communication. On 03/20, someone named Jeorge--who claimed to be a manager--called me, apologized, and assured me he would finalize my deal immediately. Once again, nothing happened. On 03/21, I was finally able to reach the actual sales manager, who informed me that the deal I had been discussing all week was never approved in the first place. I was shocked. I had been misled for days, given false assurances, and strung along after already submitting sensitive personal and financial information. To make matters worse, I clearly communicated multiple times that I urgently needed a car and currently did not have one. Despite this, my calls were ignored, and no one took responsibility or made any effort to resolve the situation. In the end, they simply told me they were not going to honor the deal because "it doesn't make sense to them." I have all the messages documenting the agreed terms and the communication throughout the week. This experience felt dishonest, unprofessional, and extremely disorganized. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this dealership. So at this point I just wasted whole week waiting for something that never existed and still don't have a car read more

Warning about AutoBahn Motors in Belmont -- my experience buying a used Audi SQ5 I'm posting this so anyone considering buying a car from AutoBahn Motors in Belmont knows exactly what to watch out for. I bought a 2018 Audi SQ5 from them in cash. Before buying, I specifically asked what work had been done on the car. Here is what I was told versus what I experienced afterward: They told me the brakes were new. That did not match what I later found through my mechanic, This created a serious safety issue. After I bought the car and had it inspected by a mechanic, I was told the brakes were nearly gone and unsafe. This was not some small cosmetic issue - this is a basic safety issue. They told me they had replaced multiple undercarriage/suspension-related parts. After purchase, the car started making snapping/cracking noises and my mechanic found issues that made the car feel unsafe to drive. Based on what I saw afterward, I do not believe the car was represented accurately. I already spent $2k and may need to spend additional money to make this car driveable. They showed me an iPacket/history-style presentation claiming significant work was done on the car. Based on what my mechanic found afterward, I do not believe this presentation accurately reflected the condition of the car. Salespeople, pushed the story hard and made it sound like the car had been carefully checked and reconditioned "by Autobahn motors master engineers". My experience after purchase was very different. The finance experience was terrible. The finance manager was rude, tense, and talked to me in an extremely disrespectful way while I was signing documents. The whole process felt rushed, pressured, and unprofessional. She told me that they will not run my credit score hard inquiry since I refused to sign, but they still did it. Most importantly: they ran a hard inquiry on my credit even though I was buying in cash. I specifically told them I was paying cash and did not authorize a hard pull. They still ran a hard inquiry, and my credit score dropped afterward! I contacted them about it and gave them time to resolve it, but they I waited weeks, but the issue was not resolved. I am now formally disputing the AutoBahn Motors inquiry with Experian as unauthorized. Based on my experience, I would not rely on their verbal claims without written proof. They told me the brakes were new. They told me the car was safe. They represented that thousands of dollars had been spent preparing the car. They made it sound like the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected and was ready to go. After buying it, I found the opposite. Also, be very careful during the viewing. In my case, the car was shown dirty, which made it harder to see scratches and cosmetic issues. It was also parked in the sun, and the engine was already hot, which makes it harder to hear cold-start noises or identify mechanical problems. My advice: do not buy from AutoBahn Motors in Belmont without an independent inspection, a cold start, written proof of every repair they claim, and confirmation in writing that they will not run your credit if you are paying cash. Do not rely on verbal claims. I trusted what they told me and regretted it. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid the same mistake. read more

PLEASE BEWARE. I do not recommend Autobahn Motors Service Center in Belmont. I came in to get my turn signals fixed, but they did not fix anything and still charged me for it. I brought it back to them and they told me that they cannot guarantee that they can fix it anymore. They also damaged my side mirror when my car was left with them. Skip Vaughn and the manager did not help or apologize. Customer service is very poor, unfair, and a waste of time and money. The employees seem nice at first, but right when they begin service, they become unhelpful, rude, and hard to get in contact with. They provide zero updates and ignore calls. Communication was clear and swift leading up to my appointment, which immediately set a great tone. Our salesperson, Lyanna Lee, was absolutely fantastic -- knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and genuinely kind. She wasn't pushy at all, which made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. Lyanna went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of, and it truly showed. I've been car shopping for a while now, and this was one of the few experiences that felt refreshing and honest -- no red flags, no pressure, just professionalism and care. The dealership itself is gorgeous and comfortable, and you can tell they take pride in maintaining a space that reflects their commitment to customer satisfaction. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming (aside from a slightly grumpy finance person, but hey -- nobody's perfect!). The overall vibe was positive, calm, and trustworthy -- it just felt right. I couldn't be happier with my new car, and I'm genuinely relieved to have ended my search on such a high note after a bad experience elsewhere just a few days before. Sleezy used car dealer: 1 Customer: 0 I'll start by saying shame on me, I should've known from the first warning sign not to try to do business with this dealership. Neither should you, here's why: I engaged in a conversation about a vehicle they have and made them an offer of $45k for a vehicle with a list price of $47k, they countered at $46k. I wasn't interested as there was a lower mileage same car for only $500 more I would rather buy. Here was the first red flag, they told me Over the phone they can't really even discuss the price unless I come in person to see the car. We all know they can't, they just want more leverage with you in person to try more sleezy tricks after wasting your time and tire you out. I replied and said it cost nothing to discuss price on the phone and they can delete my number. I should've stopped there, but here's where I messed up. I sent them a text saying $45k I'm a buyer and will buy today. Their reply "manager approved $45k today only". I told them it's a deal and I was on my way. Then it started getting weird, now there magically another buyer interested in the car that's coming around the same time I am. I told them I'm not gonna race to buy the car but they assured me, it was a soft commitment. I said I can leave a deposit and they said just submit the credit app, some credit app submitted but they won't run it until I get there because it's part Of their integrity. Fine 30 min drive to them I arrive, car isn't detailed, that's weird, you'd think they would in the time it took for me to get there but ok. Im also met with a different salesperson who "works closely" with who I was talking to. Odd but ok, I test drive the car, carfax shows no accidents but there was suspicious paint marks, still I'm no expert I tell them let's go do the paperwork. He wants to go over the out the door price with me, weird again we already agreed but maybe it's just procedure, ok. Nope, immediately he points to the $46k sales price. I cut him off and say nope it was agreed at $45k I have it in writing. The salesperson says he's not going to do at $45k and they have another buyer. I walked out and called the original salesperson. Now he tells me it was a miscommunication between him and his manager and he just argued with him about it. I don't believe him, they changed their mind on the selling price likely due to the other buyer and raises their price back to $46k. That's why the car wasn't detailed because they had a feeling I would back out, that's why the other salesperson approached me instead because they knew I wasn't going to take it well, and that's why he wanted to go over the out the door price because they knew they weren't honoring the price they agreed to in writing. One salesperson mentions they have another potential buyer, the other salesperson says it was a miscommunication.
