My electrical went limp fortunately I have a 100 K warranty on my car. I believe in warranties. They were able to fix my valve AY oil and My cylinder number three misfire removed intake, manifold and clean up carbon buildup and performed walnut blasting and cleaning of the intake valves. They took good care of me. They are a stand-up shop! I think taking good care of your vehicle with a service shop, while sometimes might feel expensive, is good practice. when you really need people to take care of your car, you have then have a established a relationship and that is beneficial. read more

This is a review of the service facility. Went in for a basic oil service and inspection. It was busy at 10:30 AM and was told it would be $360 and a 2 hour wait. I asked the price for making a duplicate key and was quoted $445. The waiting room is comfortable and full of snacks and drinks. I was texted a link after an hour reporting on their progress which included a video which was very nice. Just about 2 hours later my car was ready and was surprised to see the original quote was for cash/Debit only and they charge an extra fee for credit cards. Bummer but oh well. Total charge was $378 with tax and fees. Everyone was friendly and professional. I will happily return. read more

We started coming to Subaru of Burlingame's service department a few years ago because we wanted to feel safe taking our Subaru to a legitimate dealership. We barely drive this car -- maybe 2,000 miles a year -- so it's essentially lightly used and well maintained. While past experiences were just "okay" (oil changes routinely take over an hour even with an appointment), my most recent visit was unacceptable. At my appointment yesterday, I was checked in by a service advisor I hadn't worked with before. I was there alone, without my husband, and was recommended an 18,000-mile "major service" for $500, which I was told was needed. Trusting the advisor's expertise, I approved the work. The car was quoted at 2.5 hours and finished in about 2 hours. When I got home and reviewed my records, I discovered that I had already paid for an 18,000-mile service in May of this year -- just months ago -- for $300. Given how little we drive, this service clearly was not necessary again. When I called to question the charge, I was told this service is "recommended every 6 months or 6,000 miles" and that if I didn't want it, I should have declined it. That response misses the point entirely: I relied on the service advisor to tell me what my car actually needed, and instead I was sold a redundant and expensive service. No one reviewed my service history, acknowledged the issue, or offered any refund or resolution. The entire interaction left me feeling taken advantage of, particularly because I was alone and trusted the advisor to act in good faith. That is not how a dealership service department should treat its customers. I won't be returning, and I strongly encourage others -- especially those who may not be car experts -- to carefully review their service history and question every recommendation before approving work here. read more

I have been here a few times for service and they have always been incredibly friendly and professional. I have come in for service,m to fix a sunroof issue, and once to get the battery in my key fob replaced. When I went it to replace my keyfob they changed it for free, which I appreciated. Other dealerships have charged me for that. While minor, it is a nice gesture from them which I appreciate.
