I was told they were good parts and it must be because I live by the beach. I didn't replace them fast forward 3 weeks and i talked to Miguel about a quote. He told me they have a warranty that covers 24 months or 20somethingthousand miles and my brakes shouldn't wear out that fast, potentially a manufacturer defect and would see if even though I was outside the window if they would honor. Really kind guy trying to earn back my trust and build a loyal customer. I get a message from him later that week that because I was outside the 24 months window and the parts were good, that they could only offer a small discount. Miguel went to bat for me 3 weeks too late, not his fault, but the whole thing just felt shitty. Really wanted to love this place, but between here and the Geary location, I just don't trust them. Don't necessarily think any of my experience at McCallister were explicitly malicious, maybe just careless. I think they are doing a lot of things right, but reputation is everything, and after two tries I can't be an advocate.
