As a woman in her 20s, an auto body shop is the last place I want to be, but Eddy immediately put me at ease and earned my trust. He explained my options clearly and assured me he would let me know right away if the problem turned out to be bigger than it appeared. He even fixed my car much faster than he originally estimated! I'm thrilled with the experience and couldn't recommend him more. Thank you, Eddy!! read more

Great guy who is 100% honest about what your cars needs. Oil change and a review of basic filters and so on.

THE BEST. I've taken my 2108 Audi Q3 to Eddy's twice now and both times I was blown away by the professionalism, friendliness, honesty and value. If you live nearby, it's a slam dunk. I'd say it's even worth a drive from afar. I've never experienced better. Thank you, Eddy's! read more

My Mini Cooper had the pressure tire warning pop up yesterday and all the gas stations I went to didn't have any attendants to help me out. I don't have a pressure gage and I didn't know how much air to put in. Eddy's Auto Services is just down the street from my house and I've passed it by many times. I've always admired how tidy and well maintained it looks. I pulled up and asked if he had a tire gage so I can see how low my pressure is. He not only checked it for me but helped me put air in all my tires. I offered to pay him but he refused payment. I'm so grateful for his help. Thank you, Eddy, I feel much safer because of your kindness. read more

Brought my 2005 Acura RL here to fix some dings and scratches. Eddie really took good care of me and my vehicle. He listened to me and took my requests into consideration (replacing entire body parts and repainting), but Eddie informed me that certain scratches could be buffed out and some parts didn't even need replacing. He saved me money and I ended up with the car looking much better than I even expected. He's fair, honest, and is affordable. When I need body work I will always come back here. read more

My vehicle was keyed a couple times during the past five months, and Eddy did an incredible job fixing the damage. The results were excellent -- the scratches are completely gone, and my car looks as good as new. My car had some fuel issues and wasn't sure what was happening when it wasn't turning on. I had remembered their was a friendly looking auto shop just around the corner from where I was living. It was crucial for me to get my car turned on asap because I had a very important test to take outside of the city that afternoon. I took a chance and went to Eddy's Auto shop for some help. Eddy was very friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable with the work he does. I didn't feel like I was getting taken advantage of being a woman walking into a auto shop with not a clue about cars. Eddy was able to fit me into his daily busy schedule & realized right away what was going on with my car!! With his help I was able to take my test that day & I even passed!! I couldn't be happier with the service Eddy provided with my vehicle. I would highly recommend his shop & business to other friends who drive in the city. Thank you so much!! read more

Eddy's Auto Services - My happy car!!! - Auto Repair Near Me - San Francisco, California

I stumbled onto this little hidden gem of an auto shop as a result of getting swindled by a Honda dealership that was attempting to over-charge me for a side mirror repair. I was fortunate enough to get Eddy on the phone and he "guessed" the price that the dealer quoted me and basically unpacked their code words for service and installation for me. The damage to my car was traumatizing enough but from the ashes of this trauma, I found a reputable, skilled and friendly auto repair mechanic near my home - what a blessing. Eddy is a diamond in the rough. He quoted me a reasonable rate for the repair and then proceeded to go above and beyond the call of duty by buffing out some of the scratches from the initial damage. If you live in or near San Francisco and need auto body repair, please reach out to Eddy's Auto Services. He does reputable work, treats his customers with kindness and respect and is genuinely grateful for your business. read more

Eddy is simply the best! He is an honest and excellent mechinic who keeps my 14 yeart old car running. As an added bonus he is a local mechinic and I try very hard to shop and hire vendors who are local small businesses. I cannot say enough good things about Eddy and his shop. read more

Eddy is the definition of a top tier mechanic. Some auto shops have a bad rep of making their customers feel swindled, but Eddy is the opposite of that. As a 24 year old woman, I have never felt more respected, educated, and informed when it comes to my car than I have in conversations with Eddy. He's also so fair! His pricing always makes sense and he is always more than happy to answer any questions I have. I recommend him to everyone I know that has a car in San Francisco! Eddy has: - given a quick & reliable general tune up - replaced a headlight - replaced all 4 spark plugs & coils (in 2 days!!!) - given me his honest thoughts on a hub cap & a broken trunk piece - has made my 2013 car feel new again after spending a year in steep Nob Hill! read more

Eddy was great and walked me through exactly what he was going to do and the best/worst case scenarios for the problem with my vehicle- I appreciated knowing his exact course of action and what to be prepared for. He quickly identified the issue and made the necessary repairs, getting my car back to me within a few hours of dropping it off. The price for his service was completely fair and he was kind + professional throughout our interaction. Fingers crossed I don't need to soon, but I'll definitely be coming back to Eddy the next time my car needs professional care. read more

Boy howdy did I get myself into a real Schlitz Pickle today. But Eddy helped me right out. I was driving up the hill on Hyde, just above Broadway, when my Honda sputtered to a stop. Wouldn't you know it that like a bonefied ignoramus I had run out of gas. I was able to throw it into neutral and roll the car into a driveway so that I was off the cable car tracks. But still not exactly a solid resting spot. I sprinted the three blocks to Eddy's and asked if he had a gas can and any gas. He met me half way: yes on the gas can, but it was empty. Like a saint descended from heaven, Eddy lent me the gas can. Even though I was dressed in my Friday best (hawaiian shirt, turqoise party pants, flip-flops), I booked it the half mile to the Van Ness Chevron without stopping to rest, threw in $4.50 of gas, and huffed it back to the car. I smell a little like gasoline now, but all-in-all it ended up only being a 20 minute setback. And most importantly, I met a new neighbor and friend! I'm looking forward to sharing a Schlitz cocktail with Eddy, my fuel tank savior. read more

My parked car was hit by another car. Smashed window, dents, non functioning door and no note. Eddy made the frustrating situation as positive and smooth as it could be. He was attentive, responsive and patient with the insurance issues. He is so friendly and easy to reach. I went to Eddie the first time to buy windshield wipers and was struck by how friendly and helpful he was. A year later, I saw him with what I thought was an oil leak. I will be headed to Eddie for any issue big or small moving forward. read more

I had tried my local mechanic and called my dealership to remedy what I thought was a simple probelm with my car. Getting no help from them I took a chance on a garage on my google maps and I am glad it was Eddy's. Extremely qualified mechanic, even better person. I've been a yelp user for 15 years and have never felt compelled to write a review, neither out of frustration nor in support. Went into Eddie's shop yesterday and Eddie fixed my broken shock absorption system in no time. He's a super nice guy with an immense amount of knowledge and skill to fix any problem on your machine. He can do everything from bodywork to electronics and everything in between. You'd expect that from someone you're paying to fix your car, but he also does that with professional integrity not seen often enough. He's definitely not the kind of guy who will do any extraneous/unnecessary work on your car to beef up the bill. I highly recommend him for your next car or motorcycle repair. read more

I have had Eddy help me out mechanically with both my Harley and my Jeep. Both times he was able to diagnose what I really needed for an immediate fix as well as give me honest advice on other things I may consider fixing while he had it, but were safe to wait a little longer on if my current budget wasn't ready. An "honest mechanic" seems like an oxymoron, but that is exactly what Eddy is. All of his prices were very fair and you can tell he has a passion for problem solving and a love for getting vehicles running and looking exactly as they should. As I live in the neighborhood and usually walk by the shop every few days, I've also seen some incredible body work transformations he has done on other customer's vehicles. The neighborhood is truly lucky to have him. I really hope Covid doesn't force his business to shut down. If your car or bike could use some work he is definitely the guy to bring it to. read more

My car was making lots of squeaking noises, wasn't sure if it was safe to continue driving so I took it in. Eddy was super nice, confirmed the brakes were in good shape and offered me options to address the squeaking. I was able to bring my car in right away, the whole experience was seamless. I will definitely be bringing my car back here if I need additional help with anything! read more

Whether your car needs bodywork or repair, Eddy is the best! The trunk of my car stopped opening, and Eddy went above and beyond to troubleshoot and be creative to fix it the most efficient and inexpensive way. A drunk driver messed up my brake light and bumper, and the bodywork he did to repair it was exquisite and fast. He will work with you to schedule the repair in the most efficient way, so you don't have to leave your car for days or even weeks at a time, like most mechanics require. He is also expert in dealing with insurance companies to ensure that you get all the repairs you're entitled to. He is honest, fair, professional, and very skilled. I highly recommend! read more

I brought my Audi A7 in because the engine oil light came on while I was driving, something that never had happened before. After a thorough check, I was told there was no oil leak. As it was time for an oil change, I had them perform the oil change. The total bill was quite reasonable, considering the analysis involved. I'm hoping the light doesn't come back on, as then it's likely the sensor. read more

Eddy is amazing! He was kind enough to do a house call for my motorbike. The battery was shot and he brought his charger over. I was needing my car for a trip the week I was picking my car up and he prepared it beautifully for the drive. He even squeezed me into a fully booked day to make sure my car was taking care of.
