My car was involved in a hit & run, nothing too major but needed the passenger door repaired. My husband brought in my car and the guys at ABG took care of the rest of the work. We filed a claim with AAA, they followed up with us and were told that ABG already submitted photos and the claim was approved so they could start working on the car. There's nothing I appreciate more than not having to deal with insurance so really big shout out to the system that ABG has in place to make this process as efficient as possible. The repairs were finished within a week & my husband was able to go pick up the car. The car battery did have some issues since they've been working on the car for a week and it hasn't been moved or driven around. Walter gave the car a quick jump & everything started up normal. Simon was able to take me in immediately that one incredibly stressful morning when I woke up to my Tesla Y completely wrecked after a hit and run while it was parked overnight in my neighborhood. I got my BMW F82 front and rear bumpers repainted here and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! There were some scratches and minor dents on the bumpers from the prior owner and I decided to get them properly fixed since I cherish the car too much to just let them be. The job needed to completely remove the bumpers, patch and sand them all down and apply a 3-staged paint (in my case it was Pearl--Metalic white). I got quoted mostly way above 3k for the job from many body shops until I met Armando. He was very friendly and enthusiastic about performance cars. It clicked soon after talking to him that he understood the job, and also what taking good care of the car means to me. Not only did he offer competitive prices, he also took the time to answer all my questions since I was so worried about the paint match, as I heard of quite a few poorly done jobs on such cars elsewhere. I eventually trusted Armando with the car to do the job. In the process, he sent me photos occasionally to keep me informed of the progress. Came pick up day after a week and I was thrilled to see how beautifully the bumpers were restored. The paint match was fantastic! Armando even offered free labor to replace the driver handle plastic piece since there was a damage (very common to bmw cars) and polish the car exterior after the job was done. I've had two outstanding experiences with Simon & Auto Body Garage. 1. Integrity: Over a decade ago I had my, then, new car's windows tinted at the company that is now Auto Body Garage. They had warrantied their work for a lifetime. When that tinting started to fail, I called to see if they would honor this for a replacement. I learned that Simon had acquired the business and no longer focuses on window tinting, but would still honor the warranty. He came through and paid for my new window tinting with a different company. Wowzers! 2. Competence & Quality: Per my first experience with Simon, I decided to reach out to him for an estimate on some cosmetic repairs for my aging car - a little nip/ tuck. Literally, the day after I met with Simon for this estimate, I was hit by woman who had lost control of her car (confusing the accelerator for the brake). No kidding - I can't make that up! Also, I was leaving the country for 5 weeks in 3 days. I called Simon with a much bigger repair inquiry and boy did he show up! While I was out of the country with very limited phone service, he gracefully handled the repair, communicated progress with me and managed the insurance company. I returned to a better-than-before car. It was such peace of mind! Also, his crew was very open and personable when I interacted with them - rare for an auto body shop. Bonus: Simon is constantly fielding calls and meeting with people, yet somehow manages to keep all the balls in the air - a masterful multi-talker. When I returned, my car was very low on gas. Hands down the best experience with an auto body shop ever. Had a dent in the back side panel of my car which was botched by a bad repair (mismatched paint, lumpy texture, horrible matte finish). Took my car to Simon, who: a) is lovely and professional b) is very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly c) got the work done in a timely manner d) went above and beyond with the details (removed residual paint in other areas, cleaned the interior + exterior of the car). Why didn't I find this place sooner! This is by far the most honest, trustworthy and reliable shop! I have had my first time great experience with them today! Simon has been honest about estimation and pricing. My passenger side was missing the side signal lamp light behind the mirror. The problem was I have the parts but I don't know how to install it. I called the auto shop I have been going to for many years unfortunately they were asking a ridiculously amount of money. I found out this shop through yelp and I gave it a shot.
