Super excited for this place to finally be open! We went around 1pm today ( a Tuesday) and there was already quite a few people in there so happy to see that! Super cute interior loved the decor ! You walk up to counter to order , I would say customer service could be better as the man couldn't answer my questions very well but it also wasn't bad customer service either ! Pricing wasn't bad I think pretty typical for a seafood boil place , great menu options. We got the pound of shrimp without the heads for an extra buck, and pound of clams . They come already with the corn and potatoes so we stuck with that. Got the rolling crab seasoning, I asked the man what was in this seasoning and he just told me to look at the table that already had food on it and that was the seasoning so thats where I mean the customer service wasn't the best because idk how to decipher the flavors based off that lol but from what I can tell I think it was a mix of all flavors butter, garlic , Cajun, lemon etc. It was delicious ! The food came out pretty fast , nice hot and juicy! I LOVE that they give you bibs as well as some pretty good quality gloves , most places charge extra so that was super dope! This was my first time at Rolling Crab. The food was delicious and was served piping hot. The shrimp were very big and just the right amount of heat. The service was quick and friendly. Ordered food for pick up yesterday. When I arrived an employee said give it five more mins for it to be ready so I sat at a table waiting. 25 minutes go by and I was still waiting, so I went to go check in with the cashier and the bag was sitting on the counter the whole time. The lady that was helping me saw me waiting there the whole time and didn't say anything about it being ready. Food was great but the service not so good read more

I'm a huge boiling crab fan so I was skeptical to try this place out and I'm glad I did. Don't expect it to taste like the boiling crab tho, this place has its own flavor and twist and completely different to be honest has more flavor in my opinion. This place was delicious the shrimp was full of flavor and not over cooked I ordered a pound of shrimp with the rolling crab seasoning spicy and it was perfect. I also tried the lemon pepper shrimp and it was the best I've had at any shrimp boil restaurant hands down but this is my opinion, try it for yourself. read more

First time here. Not a humongous review but a micro review. I came by here on my lunch break just to get some crab fries. It is a real let down when you use imitation crab at a seafood restaurant. Come on seriously. The fries are good, the sauce is ok, it does need a little bit of a cheese but the imitation crab makes it taste nasty. Not good with imitation crab. Go put some fresh crab in there and it will be way better. I'm gonna toss this. Not good. I just wasted $13 on this. Unlucky ass number too smh read more

First I'll start by saying very clean restaurant and nice appearance inside I ordered the combo plate with chicken steak&shrimp it was delicious the steak was very tender and the chicken was cooked just right the shrimp could have been devained other than that the food was awesome I could eat at this restaurant everyday that's how good it was the price is great also compared to all the food you are served I would definitely recommend anyone to this place I hope the Rolling Crab keeps up with the great food and service thank you my experience was great over all read more

The food was great it was fresh the king crab legs were huge. We ordered the shrimp heads removed the lobster and the king crab. Two of them we ordered rolling crab signature sauce medium which had a bite but was not too overpowering. The crab because I was taking it to my parents we ordered garlic butter. That was very plain tasting to me and the butter tasted more like margarine. But some people really like to just taste the seafood so to each his own! The service was good, there was only two workers in there and the girl worked very hard to stay on top of things. My only complaint is I don't really consider this "to go" food and the place is very small. It can only fit maybe 5 groups of people? I was extremely disappointed to see my potatoes were sprouted. I don't get how the chef didn't check the potatoes before serving them like that. Maybe they don't clean their potatoes because who ever "cleaned them" should have noticed. Glad I didn't eat them because I probably would have gotten sick. This spot is me and my husbands favorite crab place! The food is amazing, it's 5 minutes away from our house and the price is cheeper then a lot of crab place! We come have probably been here about 6 times now and every time the food is good! Heads up tho! The service is nice!! This place was such a surprise! I call it the diamond in the rough. Its new in the AV on the Eastside. The portions was such a surprise to me I thought the waiter got our order wrong. Lol He was so nice and attentive, his name was Pushing. The flavor was spicy with a bit of sweetness. The crabs was full of meat. It was not crowded, the music was smooth. I have no complaints! The bill was very good as seafood restaurants go. Definitely head-to-head with Crab & Spice and better than Pier 88 in my opinion. Please come and try this place y'all! Food was pretty good the flavor wasn't out of this world but just enough for us to go again. Service was pretty good the restaurant is pretty small so they don't have much tables to serve so be aware of that. The workers gave us some extra stuff inside our boiled so that was great! One thing that I hope they change is serving bottled soda. I think a soda machine is pretty standard and paying for a refill is just old school. I've been watching this place and waiting for it to open. It finally did and I loved it! I had the bucket of clams and it was delicious! It was tasty and affordable! And the service was fine. They spread a big sheet of paper over the table then bring your food. You just leave the shells on the table and when you're done they just wrap up the paper and throw it away. There are many other things I want to taste in the future - like the mussels, crab, etc. Give it a try if you like seafood, but they also have non- seafood selections, too. It's the second new eatery that's opened in the past few months in this shopping area (47th St. and R. It's just outside of IHOP.) Give it a try! read more

I got myself some comfort food for the holidays and ordered the snow crab legs and shrimp it was soooooo good the flavor was amazing and the texture as well the portion was good I just wish it was spicy I picked the house sauce and spiciest level they had but it wasn't spicy for me (I love a strong kick) I don't know if I need to pick a different one to get a spicier one or if they can have higher spice options it would be AMAZING but I still enjoyed it. Would I get it again? Yes but I will try the Cajun to see if that one is spicier or see if they take special requests. Update: just ordered again today and called before hand so see if they can make it spicier and Natalie was honestly super sweet not only was she very helpful but she also went above and beyond to make sure it was spicy for me she added a note to make it spicy and just in case she added a little on the side for me to add if it's not spicy enough. SHE NEEDS a raise honestly! I work customer service and I know how tough it can be and how hard it is to find people like Nataly to not only be helpful but care about the customers that alone won me and this will be my spot from now on. After I eat the food I will come back with feedback on the spice -I'm back and oh my God I'm not gonna lie I got home and forgot to review and I went again two days later because I told my sister and her fiancé about it and they wanted to try it and we LOVED It I believe the person who was there the 3rd time was the owner and he too provided a great service and was so nice and helpful when I told him I wanted even spicier than super spicy lol and let me just say it was just amazing!
