Delicious shrimp cocktail. Every bite to the very last had a shrimp

If you love seafood then go to El Cevichazo. Food is always good the people the musicservice is also good. One of the last good seafood places to go eat at in Palmdale. I recommend for any of your family get togethers. If you want to take a good seafood dish... Botana El Paisa. abalone and agua chiles. You can have it on a tostada or crackers your choice with extra sauce that is put on side.

$33 dolares por este plato de insulto! Asi me senti Al llegar a casa y habrir el plato que habian dicho que era para dos personas, 4 tostadas y un plato con como 10 camarones y ni siquiera aguacate ni pepino. No recomiendo este lugar..

Went on a rainy Saturday evening, was pretty lonely. I would only go back for the drinks and when there's live music. Food isn't that good. Chips and salsa, the chips were very salty. The food 2/5 of what I tried. The drinks were good 4/5. Overpriced, $120 for 2 people including 1 drink each,1 dish each, and tip. Service was alright.

I was excited to try this place out but quickly began regretting it when I was seated at a dirty table. They handed us menus and then a waitress came to "clean the table" with an old rag that smelled like dirty bleach water. We moved our menus from the way and she left the table all wet. We proceeded to explore the menu and the waitress came back to dry the dirty water smell. So weird- why not clean and dry before sitting customers there? But what do I know... We ordered 2 soups and a mojarra which were tasty but not worth the price I'll tell you that much. They SUPER OVERCHARGE the drinks tho. We ordered a refill on our soda and the waitress takes our used cup, straw and all, and refills it where they are refilling everyone else's. Dude, did covid disappear or something and I just didn't hear or...? How in the world... I mean, no dude- Then I started seeing it all. The waitresses handling trash and serving food with the same gloves and they were not conscious of the cross contamination that can happen. Can't risk it. There are plenty of restaurants in the AV that are taking precautions to keep safe and folks let me tell ya: this ain't one of them. Go get over charged some where else.

I was left on hold for 5 min got frustrated Hung up and called back over 40 times no answer I then called Los originales Took my order right away! Screw this place for not having their employees together

If I could give them zero stars I would !!! First time and LAST !!!! Horrible food we ordered 4lbs of pescado zarandeado we got 2 slivers of fish that did not even add to 2 1/2 lbs It took them over 40 minutes to get us BURNED fish. OMG worst I've ever eaten, It was burned all over, we asked the waitress to take it back she told us that is the way they cook it...REALLY ??? we asked to speak the manager and the manager woman was rude, the head cook came to see the food and he agreed it was a bit over cooked (BURNED) but we still got charged full price !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!! HORRIBLE

Second time trying this place. Unfortunately, it was an epic fail. After we placed our order, the waitress brings out our plates and we all noticed items missing and we only received part of what was stated on the menu. The waitress tells us that they ran out of several items. I ordered la bomba for $26.50 and it only came with shrimp. Was Still charged full price for the plates.

Food is exceptional! The pricing is very high compared to the rest, hence the 4 stars .. I ordered a michelada and it was bomb, definitely for 2/3 people not just for one. Haha.

The shrimp were not cleaned properly
    Alexis B.

My shrimp in my ceviche were not cleaned properly as you can see in the photo. The service is so slow we have to ask for things 2 or 3 times. The best part of my meal was the michelada.

Butcher paper are placed on our tables with menus following. We ordered Boba, strawberry smoothies (our smoothies weren't quite sweet enough, and something was missing to make them the best they could be), and Sprite (in a bottle). We also ordered two lobster tails, which came with two corn and two potato sides and Combo Grilled Platters. The lobster tails were generous, packed with meat and flavor. Rolling Crab offers a variety of flavors: Rolling Crab Classic, Louisiana Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Butter. Bibs and gloves are available, and you can choose the lobster tails mild, medium, or super spicy, or go for the original. They come in buckets. The Combo Grilled Platters were generous portions, though we wished for more shrimp. The flavor was excellent, though. The restaurant was clean and cozy, with a small space that could easily accommodate a large group. We didn't feel rushed at all, even though it wasn't packed. We noticed a lot of takeout orders, but overall, the service was great, and the food was delicious. We're definitely planning to return!

There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.

More concerning, however, was a serious issue regarding safety and how my family--particularly my child--was treated by staff. During our visit, my toddler was standing next to her high chair when employees were running through the restaurant. One employee fell and immediately blamed my child for the incident. I was present and witnessed the situation clearly. My child was approximately four feet away and was not involved in any way. The employee tripped on her own, yet responsibility was placed on my child. If the placement of a high chair in that area posed a concern, it should not have been offered or placed there to begin with. At no point did any staff member, including the manager, ask if my child was okay (especially since they thought she was tripped over) Instead, blame was directed towards my toddler, which made me feel unwelcome and judged for simply dining with a baby. Also if she really was tripped over- they did not care about her at all. This shows: THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THEIR GUESTS. A server came up to us and expressed how she was the blame despite not seeing what had happened. These employees are running up and down. That is why she tripped. This is my my toddler (thankfully) was not harmed. I hope the waitress is okay though, clearly this company does not care about safety much- as she kept working after. We spent over $150 during this visit, and the overall experience left me feeling that this establishment is not family-friendly. This is particularly disappointing, as families should feel safe and respected while dining. Due to this experience, we will not be returning, and I will be sharing this feedback with all friends and family. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately to prevent similar situations in the future. Maybe a training on where to put high chairs, how not to run in an establishment, and how to speak with respect towards others would be a good start.
