Delicious shrimp cocktail. Every bite to the very last had a shrimp

If you love seafood then go to El Cevichazo. Food is always good the people the musicservice is also good. One of the last good seafood places to go eat at in Palmdale. I recommend for any of your family get togethers. If you want to take a good seafood dish... Botana El Paisa. abalone and agua chiles. You can have it on a tostada or crackers your choice with extra sauce that is put on side.

$33 dolares por este plato de insulto! Asi me senti Al llegar a casa y habrir el plato que habian dicho que era para dos personas, 4 tostadas y un plato con como 10 camarones y ni siquiera aguacate ni pepino. No recomiendo este lugar..

Went on a rainy Saturday evening, was pretty lonely. I would only go back for the drinks and when there's live music. Food isn't that good. Chips and salsa, the chips were very salty. The food 2/5 of what I tried. The drinks were good 4/5. Overpriced, $120 for 2 people including 1 drink each,1 dish each, and tip. Service was alright.

I was excited to try this place out but quickly began regretting it when I was seated at a dirty table. They handed us menus and then a waitress came to "clean the table" with an old rag that smelled like dirty bleach water. We moved our menus from the way and she left the table all wet. We proceeded to explore the menu and the waitress came back to dry the dirty water smell. So weird- why not clean and dry before sitting customers there? But what do I know... We ordered 2 soups and a mojarra which were tasty but not worth the price I'll tell you that much. They SUPER OVERCHARGE the drinks tho. We ordered a refill on our soda and the waitress takes our used cup, straw and all, and refills it where they are refilling everyone else's. Dude, did covid disappear or something and I just didn't hear or...? How in the world... I mean, no dude- Then I started seeing it all. The waitresses handling trash and serving food with the same gloves and they were not conscious of the cross contamination that can happen. Can't risk it. There are plenty of restaurants in the AV that are taking precautions to keep safe and folks let me tell ya: this ain't one of them. Go get over charged some where else.

I was left on hold for 5 min got frustrated Hung up and called back over 40 times no answer I then called Los originales Took my order right away! Screw this place for not having their employees together

If I could give them zero stars I would !!! First time and LAST !!!! Horrible food we ordered 4lbs of pescado zarandeado we got 2 slivers of fish that did not even add to 2 1/2 lbs It took them over 40 minutes to get us BURNED fish. OMG worst I've ever eaten, It was burned all over, we asked the waitress to take it back she told us that is the way they cook it...REALLY ??? we asked to speak the manager and the manager woman was rude, the head cook came to see the food and he agreed it was a bit over cooked (BURNED) but we still got charged full price !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!! HORRIBLE

Second time trying this place. Unfortunately, it was an epic fail. After we placed our order, the waitress brings out our plates and we all noticed items missing and we only received part of what was stated on the menu. The waitress tells us that they ran out of several items. I ordered la bomba for $26.50 and it only came with shrimp. Was Still charged full price for the plates.

Food is exceptional! The pricing is very high compared to the rest, hence the 4 stars .. I ordered a michelada and it was bomb, definitely for 2/3 people not just for one. Haha.

The shrimp were not cleaned properly

La música está demasiada alta. No se puede platicar, solo con la persona a un lado. La comida está ok.

The family and I were in the mood to try a new place, and we were hoping to not have a 45 minute…read morewait (sorry other place... a special-needs Son, who's hungry, is NO place you want to be after even a 20-minute wait... no matter how good the seafood cocktails are). That being said, Super-Wifey spotted this small but nice place on Yelp, and it was literally across the street! And with good reviews! Hit 'D' for Drive, Dad. And, there was no wait! Their menu is not too terribly extensive at first glance, as compared to some places, but that's not a bad thing as they have most of the go-to dishes covered after reading through. I usually get a carne asada burrito in a new place, or carnitas tacos. You know, the required staples. If a place can do those well then you're in good hands. The Mexican food litmus test. Well, everything we tried had loads of flavor... fresh tasting, not too salty, just spot-on. The offspring had the chicken nachos and also the quesadilla with shredded chicken. They looked great-on-the-plate which is always a good sign, right..? Wifey had the taco combo plate, and these were main-dish taco's, not the smaller street taco's (which I think they have also), and she was all thumbs up. I had a carne asada burrito mojado (wet) with 1/2 red, 1/2 green sauce, which tasted great... lots of flavor, a bit of spice on the red sauce (not too caliente, thanks) and the green sauce was very good, with lots of fresh tomatillo flavor. And I had a half pineapple/half tamarindo combo drink that was so fruity. First time on that flavor mix. And I'm guessing here, but I think they are a family business, and a very nice family indeed. The best places often are, it seems. They do take-out orders as well, and we're going to be ringing them up the next time a Mexican food craving hits us. There are a LOT of great Central and South American places in our local area to choose from; Mexican, Salvadoran, grilled Pollo (and NOT the crazy chicken place, thank you...) and Seafood specialists, take your choice. But these Folks hit the Comfort Food button spot-on. Next time I'll try the carnitas and will report back. Great Job..! See you soon..!

It's nice to find a place that can be consistent! I had chilaquiles today, with carne asada. I tried it with half red and half green, both sauces were delish! And my steak was so juicy and flavorful. Oh, and the cafe de olla was the cherry on top

It is all made to perfection and there is not one thing we don't love. For about $32 dollars you can get Havana Bites, it is a taste of some of their great items. It comes with Beef & Chicken Empanadas, Papas Rellenas, Platanos Fritos and Yuca Frita all served with Rico Sauce, which is so great. All of their empanadas are great and you can get just one or a bunch. We often get some to take home. The Papas Rellenas is so good and so nicely priced. It is two mashed potato balls stuffed with Cuban picadillo, then breaded and fried to perfection. I love potatoes so I love to get this. We also take these home. They heat up so well. The service is great and they are very friendly. Parking is easy and there is not usually a wait. I am not sure if they take reservations, so call them and check. The place is comfortable and pretty.

I ordered the Mar Y Tierra which is Rabo Encendido and shrimp served with rice, black beans, and plantains. The Rabo Encendido was actually quite spicy with a pronounced chile kick. (I am used to the dish being more on the savory side rather than spicy.) This was definitely a "tail on fire" experience. The oxtails were tender and plentiful in regard to portion size. There was a good mix of oxtail sizes. As the portion size was generous, there was plenty enough for three meals. Shrimp had a crisp, snappy texture which came with careful preparation in an alkaline solution. This was a good shrimp enhancement. There was an ample portion of shrimp in the dish as well. The black beans had a good flavor but the accompanying steamed white rice could have used a bit of seasoning to overcome the inherent blandness. Plantains were ripe and cooked tender with a caramelization on the edges. Mar Y Tierra was pricey at $49 but the generous portion size of the meal made it a good value. The restaurant itself was comfortable and understated in its decor. The outside patio is larger than the interior dining area. It was nice to dine outdoors in the patio. Service was good with friendly staff. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Parking is plentiful in the lot.

What happened was I go up to order my food, I very clearly say 2 tacos, a burrito, a drink, and can you add on a side of guacamole to that? Pretty simple order. It comes out to $25... so, I'm already probably never going back based on that ridiculous pricing. I get my food, and there's no guacamole on the tray. So, I ask "can I get the guacamole I ordered?" And the girl behind the counter says, in a snarky tone, "you didn't order no guacamole, get out of here!" If you didn't hear me or there was some mix up, that's fine. But don't dismiss me! Treat me like a valued customer and be like "I'm sorry sir, I never got that. Can I get you some guacamole?". I would've been happy to pay the lousy $2 that it costs and all would've been right in the world. If the whole thing that I ordered costs $25, it better come with some dang guacamole and about 5 different kinds of salsa! I calmly went back to my table, eat, and add up the prices of everything I ordered. And lo and behold, I'm off $2 every time and I wanted to make my feelings known... 5 minutes later, I'm being chased out to my truck and the girl is hammering on the window like I just stole from her!! She should've been apologizing, not trying to destroy my vehicle!!
