Cup of clam chowder and Caesar salad
Karina S.

Came for lunch on Saturday and it was very busy here! Our food took quite a while to come out, but they stop taking breakfast orders at noon and we ordered off the lunch menu almost exactly at noon, so that may be why. Very cute, cozy diner vibes. I had the cup of clam chowder and Caesar salad, both of which were quite solid. My friends loved the frickles. Prices were pretty average.

We enjoyed breakfast here. Walking distance from our Tiny House abode: Lighthouse Pointe. On Highway 1 in Pt Arena. Friendly servers, and fast moving. Glad it's open, and full of locals- then you know it's good. Loved the many breakfast items to choose from. They serve lunch dinners, drinks and desserts too.

Had a couple of meals here and they were all good. The service was friendly and it's a cute aged building with out door space. My favorite items were the frickles and calamari. Cobb salad- great but chicken was dry. Pesto chicken sandwich- yum! The bread was great! Crab cake Benedict pretty good- has brown La could be cooked longer. Country fried steak- great crust on the steak but the gravy is salty not quite country style.

We were driving to see Point Arena Lighthouse. Looking for a good burger along the way. We found this awesome place. Super friendly when we walked in. Seated, brought drinks right away. Amazing service throughout. This little place rocked the best burger we've had. The flavors of these juicy burger was unbelievable. I ordered the frickles (fried pickles) with mine, and my fiance ordered his burger with fries. We both were so into eating our amazing delicious burgers, we hardly said anything word until the food was gone. I can't wait to return here. I would love to try there breakfast specials next time. We both definitely recommend this burger Cafe! #juicyburgers,, #friedpickles, #deliciouscupofcoffee!

Whenever we visit Point Arena we make a point to eat at Rollerville Cafe. It's a little rustic inside but the food is always delicious and the servers are very friendly. One of their specials, which isn't always listed so you'd have to ask for it, is the Jalapeño Cream Cheese burger. It is so good! Burger, jalapeño, and a huge brick of cream cheese. Try it!! My other go-to is the Apple Burger, which is a hand made patty with apples and rosemary. It is great and a change from your normal burger. Even the fries are delicious, perfectly crispy and salty. Don't forget to try a milkshake too! The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. The parking is very limited however so get there fast for a spot!

Almost gone crab Benedict & Denver omelette!!

Excellent service! Food delicious!!! I ordered crab cake Benedict and all I can say is WOW. Hollandaise was lemony & creamy. Hash browns were so flavorful & literally the best I'd ever had. Hubby order a Denver omelette and was able to get no bell peppers. Very happy eating here!!!

Absolutely a gem lunch spot. They have a nice covered patio in the back. Service was super friendly, food was delicious, and very fast. Portion size is very big, so come hungry. Loved: Fish tacos- really tender, love the fresh strawberry salad that came with it. Burger- jalapeños are a great addition.

The food is always good and the family that owns it are very nice. Wish they were open more often for dinner...

Cute little greasy spoon. They catered to my weird diet. Scrambled eggs cooked perfectly and we all loved the bacon.

Food was good. Service was great, odd working hours though. You really have to call to make sure the hours posted are correct.

Solid Japanese style restaurant serving beautifully curated and thoughtfully prepared small dishes…read morein a seemingly unexpected location on the Mendocino / Sonoma coast ! We recently relocated to Sonoma county (The Sea Ranch) from Silicon Valley (Menlo Park) and have had some nice meals along the coast since we moved here FT (Harbor House, Ledford House etc) but this little spot is a real gem. Friends recommended it so we had a double date night and filled the table with all sorts of goodies. Great evening and food. Highly recommended. Small, simply situated on a very quiet street in Point Arena. A few doors down from a decent locally sourced weed shop (also worth a visit BTW), and a local fish monger (Point Arena is a commercial fishing port) and solid local bakery (Pelican), this excellent restaurant serves up a variety of rotating locally sourced small plates and yakatori style grilled meats and veggies as well as some raw fish and stews as well. Highlights were the sashimi, the fish roe on rice, the grilled pork belly, the grilled cabbage salad, the tempura shrooms and the fried chicken oysters as well as the grilled chicken thighs. All excellent. They have a nice selection of saki's as well (we had 2 small bottles to share $20/each) and to close the meal we had the Matcha ice cream with passion fruit ! All in for 4 people including tax and tip $250...which in today's world seemed very fair to me. Great meal and great vibe overall. Chef/owners apparently have strong training and work experience in Japanese settings and fine dining restaurants- which may explain why this place does very simple things so well... Make a reservation on the weekends otherwise you'll miss out or end up eating at the bar. There are certainly worse things to do than that...however, trust me. Visit here and thank me later. Well done Izakaya Gama ! We will be back. This will undoubtedly be on our regular "locals dining out rotation" now. Bravo Izakaya Gama !

Izakaya Gama was a fantastic surprise, especially for the location. The food was genuinely…read moredelicious, and I'd even argue it's impressively authentic--no Japanese staff, but absolutely Japanese-level execution. Every dish landed. Fried, grilled, steamed, raw... not a single miss. We were staying just up the block on a short getaway, and this ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the trip. At one point we were talking about Rintaro in SF, and the chef overheard us--she mentioned he knew the folks there and spoke highly of them. Honestly, after eating here, I think Gama is better, and at a much friendlier price point. Warm atmosphere, great food, and a chef who clearly cares about what they're doing. This place is a win all around.

Jilly is a fantastic woman who gives to everyone around her, and we are lucky that she chose a restaurant to run so she can share her love with even more people!! The location is a beautiful picturesque place on the edge of the Russian River, and there is a great patio that you can bring your pup to while you're dining! Now let's get to the best part: the FOOD!! The fries are so crispy and delicious because they are fried in tallow instead of toxic soybean oil! We both got the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and everything about them was delicious. The meat was tender and not fatty, the cheese was melty and generous, and the produce was fresh! We can't wait to comeback again when we are in the area. Thank you for a wonderful visit, my Mom and I had a fabulous time!

We ordered the clam chowder soup, Tomato soup and grilled cheese combo, pulled pork sandwich with tallow fries, single smash burger with tallow fries. The presentation of the sandwiches were great and looked appetizing. However, my son didn't find the smash burger a bit compared to those he tried in other places. The fries were not really a big deal here. The clam chowder had other ingredients like ham and corn. I prefer the cream heavy type of chowder than theirs which was more the soupy type. It seemed it needed more flavor. The view of the Russian River was so pretty. It was a long and winding road drive to the restaurant from Santa Rosa, better to stop here after coming from Bodega bay to avoid the winding roads. Menu item prices should be adjusted lower due.
