Wonderful pizza! The crust is on par of any good pizzeria in the Bay Area. Chewy, thin crust, perhaps sourdough? Nice char from the brick oven. The location is a small cove/harbor and is a great option for dinner in the area (though we also tried ever other food establishment in the bldg and they were also good). Cool logo y shirts available for sale. Check out the swing across the way, walk on the pier, and explore the tidepools when the tide is obviously low. read more

Normally pizza sauce is not my favorite, I frequently ask for a white sauce on my pizza rather than red, but this sauce was a nice, slightly sweet, mild tasting sauce which didn't take away from the toppings at all. We ordered two pizzas, one Meat (sausage and pepperoni) and the Hog (bacon, sausage, and garlic), along with an order of garlic cheese bread. We had leftovers but not because we didn't want to keep eating! Crust was good, not too chewy, not too soft. The service was friendly and the food came out very quickly. There's a selection of beer and other soft drinks inside. Note that the pizzas are only offered in one size, which is 14", so if you have a large group you may need a few extra pizzas! The pizza is okay at best. Not enough toppings for the price each pizza costs and was overcooked. I was expecting some bomb ass pizza for being such a small town but got the complete opposite. Maybe next time it will be better. Also not wanting to substitute ingredients is kind of wrong especially since I'm allergic to onions and want to substitute onion with something I can eat on a pizza would be more accommodating than just refusing. "Shredding fresh GNAR daily"at the cove in Point Arena. This pizzeria serves up some delicious pizza. The dough was chewy but has a good crust on the bottom. Cheesy melty mozzarella over a tasty red sauce topped with pepperonis sausage olives and mushrooms. Girls weekend has started! When we researched places here in Point Arena we saw that there was a pizza spot that we wanted to try out. It was like a 5 minute drive from where we were staying. Point Arena Pizza was right on the water. So pretty but a little chilly. We ordered the following: Meat Pizza- pepperoni, sausage and herbs This pizza was my favorite! Split Hog-half bacon, half sausage and garlic This was ok not my favorite but my friends enjoyed it. Garlic cheesy bread- this was a good choice to get. Super yummy! Would be great with ranch or marinara sauce. Note to self- we were advised to call in our order instead of ordering there. They are not doing indoor dinning. Only available seating is outside. They have heaters but I would definitely bundle up. If your every in point arena I highly recommend this pizza spot. read more

There were limited dinner options in town so we ended up trying out Point Arena Pizza. The location is right by the water which is nice, and staff were friendly. Masks are required and you can only order at the door. We only had to wait about 10 minutes or so for our pizza. They only have one pizza size (medium) but I'm not sure if that is a temporary Covid thing or just their menu. We got a half cheese, half pepperoni and pineapple. The pizza was pretty deve. Nothing fancy but it definitely filled us up. Especially with the lack of options around, I would go here if you are passing through and are hungry. read more

Not for visitors and definitely NOT for families with small children. Definitely a locals only place. Staff was curt and unhelpful. Staff informed the locals when they ordered the pizza would be an hour or more. When I asked about the wait I was told there was really no way to really tell when my pizza would be done. I said I had two hungry four year olds and asked what would be an option to come out quickly. The staff said I could order salad or the vegan lentil curry soup. What four year old is going to accept or even eat a salad or vegan lentil curry to hold them over for an unknown amount of time for pizza?! I would have loved to try their pizza as a new experience (we usually get Upper Crust pizza in Gualala), but that's now not likely to happen. read more

I'd give them a 5 star review but we're super disappointed that a pizza and salad place doesn't have a house made ranch?!! What?!! We got charged for the hidden valley premade cups (yuck). We stayed at the Wharf Master inn (right above the restaurant) and order a Dog's Bollocks a pizza, salad and garlicky cheesy bread to go. We took the meal back to our room and ate on the balcony. I highly recommend doing this! The pizza was made quickly, and was piping hot and delicious. Lots of toppings, the sauce was great and perfect with a bottle of Zinfandel wine.
