    Fish Tacos

Stopped by on our way down Hwy 1. Best way to describe was Its Okay. The carnitas salad was plentiful but simple. Carnitas Lettuce Tomato and Bell pepper with ranch. Needed some guacamole and maybe some salsa. The fish tacos are really good. Not battered fried fish, rather grilled fish with awesome salsa. Would have loved some of that salsa on my salad. The food is good and this is a local business so do a local economy a favor stop by, there is a lot on the menu.

Food is not bad. For Codiv, order at the window and they have a few tables out front. Service needs improvement and environment not great. But it's the only place serving hot food in Point Arena that we could find. Overall ok.

    Veggie burrito! Yum.

Super cute place to stop. Family owned place. Super fresh and tasty Mexican offerings. They also have beer and sangria. How can you go wrong. The nicest folks and great service. Clean inside and they even cut mine & hubby's veggie burrito in half. And the burrito itself was perfect taste and texture and seasoning.

This is my second review and they got my order wrong again...: I know there busy and this is there last day but I am so disappointed and heartbroken. I ordered regular chicken tenders and gave me spicy ones . 1/10. But I am great full for the free food but like bruh.

Great food and friendly people! The buildings right next door are vacation rentals, so it was perfect.

The Birria and homemade tortillas are amazing and the horchata is some of the best I have had in a while.

Food is only moderate to ok. Asked for drinks to be served and refilled more than once. Slightly over priced.

They have a very large selection of sake, and the servers know and talk with the locals which is so nice to see in our modern society. The sashimi was absolutely stunningly good. Every dish was fantastic (we did the chef tasting menu - 5 course meal) and at the end we both looked at the Michelin guide because "this place has to be rated!) Take a drive or reroute yourself through Point Arena. You won't be sorry.

Usually we like sitting at the bar to see the chefs do their thing, but this place is not like that at least the night we went to which was surprising cause Japanese establishments typically are cooking out in the open. They had a lot of different sakes which was really nice to see but no draft beer unless I missed it. They let you pick a cup for your sake which is so cute, I loved that. All their table wear was so beautiful. We got a fruity sake first and loved that one. The second one was the "goku" it was giving straight sake. I'd prolly stick to fruitier ones. The server was very kind and she was easy to talk to and provided great service. As for the food, I thought it was pretty okay! We ordered the omakase which was $75 per person and it was very filling. We had trout sashimi which had some bite texturally not my fave fish tbh. Potato Salad which a jammy egg omg I loved it but wondered how it'd taste if the egg was marinated. The mushroom soup was lemony and oniony it was pretty good. The karage could've been crispier imo and I wish the wasabi aoli was a lil different but it was still good. The robata was hella good my fave was the meatball one, I'm not a big fan of cartilage but that it very well cooked, and I appreciated the pile seasoning provided as well. The strawberry topped panna cotta was so good no notes. Overall, pretty good and I'd go again if I was in this area and order individual dishes especially the potato salad and panna cotta. Not really the vibe of an izakaya imo they also don't have ginger but def a nice Japanese restaurant with some twists.

It's the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back and support a local business. The only reason my visit took an emotional turn was unexpectedly seeing the owner of a nearby construction business. Knowing what I know, I instantly felt uneasy and uncomfortable. In a small town filled with so many families and children, that feeling hit even harder. I immediately knew I would never support that business again. Thankfully, that experience doesn't reflect this construction business at all. The business itself was wonderful, and the employees made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I truly hope this business continues to thrive because it deserves the support of the community.

We got the pad thai with chicken and green curry with chicken and a side of brown rice. The brown rice was the fun kind with that great texture, super yummy with the green curry. Green curry was super flavorful and packed with veggies and chicken. Thai tea with coconut milk was a little sweet for me but still very very flavorful. Don't skip this place on your next Mendocino County weekend getaway :)

As soon as we walked out to the car, we changed our minds and decided to go back in. The host said "let me see if I can find you a table really quick". I ate the clam chowder as my entree -- amazing!! My husband had the salmon special, which he loved. Ambience and view were amazing as well as service. I was not all impressed with the food. The service was good and the view is a million dollar view with a fresh flower on the table. We only had water to drink, no cocktails, nothing else. nothing special. Out bill came to something like $76. I would not go back there. I could walk around the Pelican Bluff coastal trail for the amazing view.
