    Ground Lamb plate

I finally gave this place a shot after my fiancé kept raving about it being his "favorite restaurant ever" and boy did it not disappoint. The manti dumplings were perfection, and the lamb plate was very generous in portion -- the lamb and rice were both packed with flavor. Will definitely be back to try the steaks as I hear they are amazing.

Came here late night for dinner. Got seated quick. The service is excellent. Our friends have been here many times and the server remembered them. Our first time here and we love it. Everything we tried was delicious. I loved the trio app and the braised rib. The dumplings and the skewers were good too. Would def revisit if we're in the area

Food was very tasty, customer service was decent given the fact that they were super busy on that day. The place was buzzing!

Deceitful Practice: Double-dipping on tips if customers don't pay attention or don't ask for a copy of Receipt.

My son and I went to Rokhat Grill today. Initially , we planned to come back and were going to recommend it to our friends and family, but something they did that seemed fishy. When we asked for the bill, one of the staff came with a handheld device and he was real sneaky on tapping on something on the screen of the machine quickly by himself instead of letting us doing it and making payment. Then he asked us to pick the option of percentage for tips. As we left, his action stuck in my mind so I came back and asked for a copy of the receipt. The lady in the front asked us to put in my cell phone to send the receipt to us. I made sure to wait for the receipt to come thru to double-check. My sixth sense was correct. They automatically added the 15% of Service Charge (which was $14.25 for tips) without telling us, and they also asked us for tips on top of it. I didn't know and I selected 20% of tips which gave them an additional $20.57. I questioned the guy at the cash register at the bar about the 15% Service Charge. He tried to wiggle his way out of it, by stutteringly said "Ma'am, it's for service fee", which I said " that's tips that you guys added, so I want my tips back then." He asked me to wait, and went in to check with someone. Then he came out and said that they would just give me my $20 back in cash, but it's only because they got caught! I took it and left, but I feel sorry for them. Normally, restaurants automatically add a service charge for a big party or a table of 4 or more people. We were a table of 2 people. Also, I appreciate service staff and I have no problem paying for a service charge which is essentially tips, but it is wrong for a restaurant to automatically add a service fee then ask for tips on top of it while acting like no service fee was added, then being caught in a lie! Such a promising restaurant with a dishonest business practice which totally reflects poorly on their integrity, and they are willing to ruin their reputation for just a few bucks. See link for full copy of receipt: https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.clover.com%2Fp%2FWCRGGBGM6Z8WY&data=05%7C02%7C%7Cec731424933a4e28032a08deb39cbe2e%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C639145682937189186%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=VYn3oF8Jg%2F1teG6Uh87JB1TZlpo9I8RI1KKNBwtfhRU%3D&reserved=0

The food was pretty good, I think the standouts for us were the fatir bread, ribeye steak and short rib. It was all pretty tasty but the service kind of dampened our dinner a bit. The only reason I docked them down to 3 is because when we arrived, we were 1 of 3 tables filled and the service was great but then it got really busy and we couldn't find our server anywhere. We had to go to the counter and ask where our last dish was which ended up being packed to go because they forgot to bring it out. Our server also kept forgetting our water even though we asked him a couple times when he did come back to the table.

We got their ribeye and it was cooked exactly how we recommended. My favorite item we ordered was the chicken kabob platter which came on a bed of rice and was very flavorful. The lamb shank was also good but next time would get the gravy on the side. Overall a good halal restaurant with quality meat.

The food is outstanding. They are very busy and only have 2-3 people working at the time. The restaurant looks authentic. Great late night spot in town.

If you're craving a unique culinary experience, look no further than Rokhat Grill. Nestled in the heart of Plano, this gem offers a delightful introduction to the rich flavors of Central Asia. I found Rokhat's fusion of savory spices and tender meats both satisfying and accessible, while still preserving its authenticity. The standout dish for me was the Shashlik--skewered and grilled to perfection, with smoky, melt-in-your-mouth lamb that rivals any BBQ back home. Their Plov, a fragrant rice pilaf mixed with juicy lamb and vegetables, offers comfort food at its finest. Don't miss out on the Samsa, a delicious pastry filled with seasoned meat--reminiscent of an empanada but with its own bold flair. Portions are generous, making this spot a great value for families or group dinners. The flavors are bold yet balanced, so whether you're a spice lover or prefer more subtle dishes, there's something for everyone. The casual, welcoming atmosphere combined with warm hospitality makes Rokhat Grill an ideal spot for both adventurous eaters and those new to Central Asian cuisine. It's a must-visit if you're looking to expand your palate while still indulging in familiar comforts. I'll definitely be back for more! Update: The steak was probably the most juicy and tender meat I've ever had in my life. Don't miss out on the ribeye!!!

Everything we ordered here was delicious! Such good quality meat and seasoned to perfection. I really enjoyed the lagman soup and Marvarid kebab dish! Ribeye was huge and so so good! Can't go wrong with any of the dish - highly recommend exploring this gem!

The food is phenomenal. The service was great. The restaurant was hopping when we came in-- every seat was taken. Our group was really big and we had a nice private table that was large in the back of the restaurant. They have freshly made juices and a kind of yogurt drink as well, and Mexican coke and Fanta. There were so many options. Everyone loved their food. I.... Am enamored and will be back. Those short ribs were nothing short of divine. My son said it was the best steak he ever had in his life. I think that mushroom and potato side was where it was at as well. I didn't take a pic of the dumpling soup but it was so fresh and delicious and I would come just for that alone. If you want a steak place to go and just... revel in the delicious taste of the food, and leave happy.... Come here. I can't believe I have lived here 5 years before we found this place. So amazing.

We came for some authentic Uzbek food and were not disappointed. My favorite was Manti and Samsa. The kebabs were delicious as well and Kompot (fruit punch). The service was a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait. The large dining room can accommodate large crowds (there was 13 of us).

Here, you're more than a customer. You're treated like family. I've eaten Pelmeni most of my life, but never tasted fried Pelmeni before. Surprisingly they were really good and delicious. Dipping it in Sour Cream made the flavor extra unique and special. Bubala kitchen did a great job preparing them. My friend, Misha and I came here to unwind, relax and enjoy good, Russian and Uzbek cuisine. Here, every table is white cloth with elegant, yet affordable food menu. The space is great for all group sizes. They offer plenty of tables and chairs. On weekends they are usually fully booked. Be sure to call in advance for reservations. Every dish reminds you of simpler times and the food... Cooked to order. Every bite reminds you of home-cooked meals. Some menu items will specify cook time. That is a nice touch of transparency. In most Russian and Eastern European cultures, you don't rush through the cooking process or eating process. You're meant to gather around the table, packed full of meaningful conversation before and during your meal. We ordered, "Boiled and Fried Pelmeni," "Borsch," and "Herring Under Furcoat/ Shuba" (Layers of pickled Herring with onions, beets, potato, carrots, eggs and mayo) Portions were generous. Kiril was our waiter and he did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about the dishes and was helpful in answering any questions we had. They've been open for five years, at least. What is their success secret? "The key to our success is simple: providing quality consistent food that tastes great every time. We pride ourselves on serving our customers delicious genuine dishes from Eastern Europe." (Quote from their website) If you're looking for absolute best Russian and Eastern European dishes, this is the only place to go in all of DFW Metroplex. It is BYOB but did not announce this well so we had no wine. Salad was dinner plate size and quite tasty. Does not inform that it is shareable size. Out of stuffed cabbage so ordered chicken kabobs and stroganoff. Chicken overcooked and dry. Stroganoff had no mushrooms, shredded beef and little flavor. Lamb chops were requested medium and came out so well-done, they were difficult to cut with the provided butter knife. When paying bill, was asked how meal was. Provided feedback and service stated "sorry about the chops but glad you enjoyed your meal". Define language barrier between servers and cooks. Nice idea but not for us.

This restaurant has been on my radar for quite sometime since seeing it on social media!…read more We finally had a great opportunity to give it a try since my brother's girlfriend is Russian and also wanted to come here! We went to Russian Banya on Thanksgiving Day (2025). They were serving traditional American Thanksgiving dishes as well as their normal dinner menu. We decided to try their normal menu, family style. We had a feast! Borscht (5/5): It was a cool evening, and this dish really warmed me up! The dish was delicious, and very flavorful. We ordered 1 order and split it between the 4 of us. Pilaf (5/5): The beef and fried rice was really good. The beef was tender, and the rice was flavorful. Beef stroganoff (5/5): This was my second favorite dish after borscht. The beef and potatoes were doused in a hearty gravy. For dessert, we ordered the honey cake and the napoleon cake to share between the 4 of us. The cakes were very generously portioned, and were enough to share. I loved the honey cake! It was soft, not too sweet, and a delight! For my beverage, I had the glass of mixed berry mors. I loved it so much that I ordered a full container! I took the remainder home with me. We did not try their banya (bath/sauna), but maybe next time!! The people in the banya on the other side must have been ordering beer and food because we saw the staff running back and forth between the kitchen and the banya with drinks and food! The service was spectacular, an everyone was so friendly! The restaurant is a homey mom and pop stop. There were a handful of tables.
