Van't Hof Door and Gates was apparently bought by a company called ResCom…read more I point this out because I have done business with the previous owner for the past 20+ years with my previous property. Gates are becoming more and more elaborate, with a lot of options available, and nowadays, the technology is phenomenal! I did experience some problems with an upgrade to my system by adding a remote control device, and it took a while to get it online and get it working, reliable, the folks at Vanto gate, as well as the IT contractor worked together, and finally things seem to be working! Indeed, higher tech gates do create some challenges and the new company that bought Vant Hof Gate as many of the same people there, but while we did have quite a bit of troubles back-and-forth, trying to figure out some updates for my gate, I'm pleased to state that in the end, my gate is fully functional with the latest technological hardware and software. I am very happy now and appreciative that the folks at Vant Hoff gate didn't give up and we're finally able to figure out the problem. At least, as of today my gate has worked well for the past several weeks. But like anything with lots of technology, it's critical that good support and good service occur . The only reason I'm not able to give a five star is that it's just pretty high-tech system and it's still is frustrating, but everything's online and thank you!!!
