I have seen some of the entire theater style home systems they've done in Parade homes and those are amazing so I was worried my small projects done over time wouldn't interest them. However, I work with a lot of builders who rave about them, so I called. They never pressured me to do more, but have continued to work with me and give me ideas of how to integrate my systems over time. In the next few years I'll be adding sound to other rooms, connecting the system to the internet and adding a Rhapsody wireless component. While the system works fairly the customer service really doesn't. The home owner needs to give a…read morecode to the employee to discuss issues and most of the time they never ask for it unless I make mention of it. So in theory anyone is capable of coming in and calling them and overriding the security system. The second issue is their equipment eats batteries at a very high rate so batteries are being replaced a couple times a year. Every time batteries need to be replaced it is a phone call and very time process. All in all I do not recommend EPS as there are much better systems out there for same amount of money or less with much better customer service.
