My husband and I were very pleased with Flat River Electric. Mike came out for the estimate, was extremely thorough, and provided us with a detailed itemized quote with multiple different options. We got a full-service upgrade, a few GFI outlets installed, and some circuits added to the upstairs. Billy and Grant were very polite, professional, and thorough. They explained any roadblocks that came up due to our old house, let us know about some old joists that need replacing, and did CLEAN work, bringing our service up to the current code. Mike also made sure Consumer's replaced some lines coming into the house for us that were frayed. I had a refrigerator motor freeze up, over heat and toast my outlet causing an electrical burning smell throughout my house. Fire department fun on a Sunday morning to find the source! I called first thing Monday morning and they got me scheduled the next morning to get the wiring checked and make sure it was safe. The tech called ahead to give me a time frame that he would be arriving. He was professional and very nice. After he fixed my original request, he asked if I needed anything else looked at while he was there. -which I did and hadn't thought to include. He then promptly fixed two ceiling light fixtures that a previous contractor left incomplete after he was paid. First time using them and it was a very positive experience. read more

Mike and his team saved the day. After a tornado knocked out our power for 5 days. The power came back on but our main breaker would not work.
