My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place but we had a horrible experience with the cashier girl. She couldn't look us in the eye for one moment and kept looking at her nails like she was annoyed to be in our presence. When I asked her for a smoothie and change the milk, like the menu had stated, she mentioned that they were pre-made and that couldn't be done. When I asked for another smoothie she said it was all out. I have NEVER experienced something so awkward and just overall bad customer service. We ended up not getting anything and just walked right out. read more

This coffee was amazing. So many fun drinks on the menu that helped me switch up my order every time I go back. Can't wait to visit again!

It's been a year since I came here while traveling thru on vacation and I'm still thinking about how good their green machine smoothie was... one day I will come back read more

I love the coffee here and the atmosphere. It is where I go if I want to sit down and meet someone for coffee. Plenty of seating and quiet enough for a conversation but not so quite that you can't talk normally either. read more

Good coffee, good prices! Cool environment. Well layed out.. Spacious open coffee shop! Only things I would like to see different are: they need trash can near the front door And if they served a couple of hot breakfast items that would be rad! read more

Stopped by this spot on our way to mount Shasta and holy cow , so glad we did . I ordered ( by the cashiers recommendation) Summer love which was lavender, coconut cold brew with hemp milk. OMG!!! It was so refreshing and delicious. It was a perfect way to start the summer ( it was summer solstice too :) ) I wish I lived closer :/ read more

Rogue Roasters - Summer Love indeed it was - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Grants Pass, Oregon

Good coffee! Prices reasonable. 16oz comes with a triple shot. Thank god they have hemp milk

Not impressed. Tried this place while driving thru, and it was ok. (Better then Dutch bros who don't even have espresso shots!) So we decided to stop by again on our way back up the coast since it was decent & we didn't want to chance another bad coffee expierence like at DB's. We were really stopping thru this charming little town again for the amazingly delicious cinnamon rolls at Dassh Bakery, and something told me I should have taken a chance & tried Dassh's espresso instead... should have listened. My usual coffee wherever I go is always a double iced espresso with a ton of ice. I'm talking packed with ice to the top, shake it down and add some more since the espresso melts some when you pour it over the ice. I then add some cream from the bar, not much since the ice takes up the majority of the room in the cup, but enough to make it heavenly delicious & perfect! (Takes it to about the color of cardboard for reference.) Ok, so onto the actual reason for the review - I ordered my usual iced espresso (the one packed with ice) and wait. Drink comes up, I take it to the bar to add a bit of cream. (BTW they have a huge container for cream! Way bigger than all other coffee houses I've been to, and I'm a coffee fiend, lol.) Anywho, I add some cream to my drink, the one packed with ice, and am about to head out when the lady behind the counter pipes up telling me next time I should just order a latte so I don't take up all the cream. Excuse me? Take up all the cream? How? My cup is PACKED with ice!! I added the equivalent of what other coffee drinkers add to their mugs, about an inch of room in a regular sized coffees worth of cream at best. On top of that there's no way I could take all of the cream in that gigantic pitcher of cream that's on the counter! And to top if off espresso & CREAM/HALF & HALF is NOT the same as a latte made with milk!! I don't want a shit ton of nasty MILK in my drink, I want a bit of delicious CREAM which is what I added. Rich flavorful iced espresso enhanced by the delectable-ness of the cream! If she had actually paid any attention she'd realize the ice she put in the cup takes up most of the room & what I added wasn't much at all. Geez...won't be coming back here. Rather then arguing with her I just said ok & left. I won't be back in this cute town any time soon & definitely will be picking another coffee house to try instead. I get dealing with customers all day is tough, but lighten up lady! My advice to the lady, If you're going to ration cream to every customer then maybe you shouldn't have a giant sized pitcher out! Then again, maybe think about the amount I actually poured in my cup rather than what you're assuming. My cup barely has any room due to all the ice I had you put in it. Not even possible for me to take a whole cup or pitcher full of cream. My advice to people thinking about trying this place, don't. Their customer service is horrible & no one looks happy working there, which says a lot on its own. read more

We stopped here while on a roadtrip from Arizona to Washington, hoping to finally, FINALLY find a good cup of coffee and Rogue Roasters came through. As Seattle-area residents we are unashamed coffee snobs (Starbucks is a swear word in our house). Everything about my latte was pleasant--silky foam with a delicious, full-flavored roast. The staff here was friendly and took obvious pride in their coffee. We spent a few pleasant minutes explaining their philosophies and achievements. Their space is open, with plenty of seating and a quiet, chill vibe. We'll definitely make this a stop on our next roadtrip. read more

Employee attitude and coffee were terrible on a week day morning. Perhaps a starbies my lift your mood ladies.

The baristas where friendly and the service was great, but the cappuccino was mouth burning hot, tasted burned and bitter, possible due to low quality beans and imprecise handling of extraction. I went to the new drive through on F st. Has the awesome rogue roasters coffee menu, plus some food. Food menu is short, but tasty. Highly recommend if you're in a rush. (Or like me, have kids in the back that you don't want to unload). read more

Rogue Roasters - So happy they have food there. - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Grants Pass, Oregon

Their fresh roasted coffee is phenomenal, and organic too!! Great location and well designed interior. I've frequented the Ashland location in the past as well. Recently I have had to give up Dairy, sadly, and to my dismay, the Grants Pass location only offered Soy Milk as an alternative (not a soy milk drinker here). I would like to see more choices - perhaps Almond Milk? or Cashew Milk? read more

We stopped in Grants Pass on accident on our way home from a Portland road trip. What a happy surprise! We found Rogue Roasters when looking for our morning coffee. This was the best iced latte I'd had the entire trip. It was so smooth I didn't even need to add sweetener. Hubby got a mocha, and it was amazing. Even my picky Italian brother-in-law was satisfied with the authentic macchiato. The atmosphere was super cute, and we spent the better part of an hour just hanging out. In fact, we loved the coffee so much, we came back after a day of shopping for an afternoon pick-me-up. I'm just sad it is so far from our home. We'd be here every day! read more

Oh no, Rogue Coffee Roaster are trying to follow in the franchise footsteps of Dutch Bros., the other drive-through coffee concession which originated in this charming sleepy hollow. Sadly the wake-up-and-smell-the-coffee and sit-down-and-relax ambiance is gone under a copper clad drive-through booth, far from where the townsfolk and tourists tread. Give it a miss -- Dutch Bros. and Human Bean cover the drive-through space rather well so there's not much incentive to find Rogue Coffee Roaster's new location if you're looking for a coffee shop. Paper cups to go now, no china and a sit down. Sad, sad, very very sad. Their branded drive-through at 401 NE F St., Grants Pass, OR 97526 -- not at the address given above. read more

I can always count on RR to get my coffee right! Which is a super important aspect of my day. I drink a cup of coffee every day only one so most the time when I treat myself to a cup outside of home Im usually short on time and pretty much just have one shot at a cup of coffee! I can always count on Rogue Roasters to serve me up the perfect cup to get my day off to the best start possible!! read more

The definition of what a coffeehouse should be. Great coffee lots of room to sit and chat or work a really hip community spot. Always busy but the line is never too long. The coffee itself is some of the best in the state and if you're a cold brew lover like me you'll be in heaven. The rich dark roasted flavor is second to none. read more

Quick service. Good coffee and I got the banana nut bread and it was satisfactory to the taste buds.

Beautiful building and inside decor. The toaster and vibe of this place is amazing, which is why I was so shocked to hear a "very experienced barista" tell me that my flat white was the same as a latte... what??? That's a negative. Bottom line, locals seem to like this place, but when I'm in town I drive right on by for a different cup of crappy coffee that isn't served by a moronic hipster that doesn't know how to properly pull a shot, or what a flat white is. Stay away. read more

Fantastic coffee. Fair prices. Both the girl running the register and the barista I ended up talking with about which coffee I should bring home were delightful, friendly and patient with my questions and indecisiveness. read more

My boyfriend and I get a cup of coffee here almost every morning. The coffee is superb, and service is amazing. You can't even compare the quality of coffee to anywhere else in town. When you order something with flavors in it, you can still taste the espresso, not just a bunch of sugar! They clearly care about coffee, and treat it as it should be treated: an art Also- I really like their new location. It's funky and just what this part of GP needed, some more positive businesses! I don't know what that other review was talking about, comparing them to Dutch Bros, who cares if they have a drive thru now...it's called having a successful business. Not to mention, they only have this coffee shop and the small drive thru on F, maybe that's what he was mad about. I'm very happy to see this business growing and doing so well, and I think our community should also support that! read more

Those of you driving by on the freeway, read the bottom line. Nice looking coffee shop. Cool decor and artwork for the labels. Obviously liked by the locals... many came out early including 4 people came in early to play team cribbage. Not something you see every day. This shop has the gear and according to their awards, the creds to be a truly great coffee shop, but they lost it somewhere between the fancy espresso drinks and profits... hey I get it a shop has to turn a profit but remember your roots. Here's the deal, they serve coffee in the now standard squeeze top dispensers. St Peter will peer down his nose with a look of disapproval at any coffee shop owner who serves coffee that way. But fear not, they have a power Ethiopian that can be prepared with a pour-over, extra charge. Nice. Except the counter staff grabs the cup with grubby fingers inside the cup after handling the cash, Hell, I'll still drink it, let continue. Big scoop of the good stuff and the filtered water dispenser is set at 199, so far so good. But the busy lady making the coffee dispenses the water into a paper cup, then pours the water into the cool little pour-over kettle then wets the grounds. Results: water that is to cool to properly brew coffee. An expensive tepid and bitter cup of coffee that was butchered by an amiture. I had to smooth it out a bit with half and half. Even with the disappointment it still made my hair itch. - Bottom line: Decent shop, great atmosphere, if you are one of the candy coffee drinkers they will hook you up. If you want real coffee, have them wash their hands and pay attention to procedure. read more

I did it w hemp milk and found the peanut butter to be just right. A great cleanse in the morning. read more

For the coffee itself Rogue deserves all the awards it's won for its coffee. They were also the ones to educate me that light roast, rather than dark as so many people assume, is actually the strongest when it comes to caffeine. their coffee is low in acidity so if you have any acid reflux issues, their coffee is one of the least problematic which is why we always buy it for our drip pot in my household. The coffee is good. The service is friendly and cheerful and the place always provides a relaxing place to socialize. For hat reason I wish they stayed open later but they aren't alone as over 2 thirds of the businesses in Grants Pass OR close before 7 PM anyway sadly. Their prices are decent and their service is reasonable unless they're really busy in which case you may be forgotten but they are always nice about it at least. The only complaint I have with Rogue coffee roasters is their flavored coffee drinks, mochas or latte's aren't really flavored enough or sweet enough. For example if you order caramel or chocolate or vanilla you may not know the difference because the flavor itself is so light unlike with other coffee places where you are sure which flavor you got. read more
