We ate an early dinner here. It was amazing. The food had a lot of flavor! We had the loaded steak fries which could very well be a meal. The steak was moist and the flavor combination was wonderful! My husband had the hamburger steak with fries and asparagus! He said the gravy was amazing and the asparagus had amazing flavor, buttery and seasoned. I had their blackened chicken Caesar salad. The Caesar was a little lacking but complemented the chicken very well. My only critique would be to put a few more croutons on it. Staff was polite and kind. She got a little busy and we had to wait a little for our ticket. But the food came out quick and she never let our drinks dry up. It's dimly lit and has a very chic ambiance. AMAZING!!! I think about the food I had here so often. We came here during a bachelorette trip for dinner. We wanted somewhere that felt a little nicer than a cabin feel, which is what we were finding about in Broken Bow. We found this online, called and made reservations, and had a great experience. The service was incredible, we had rolls brought to us and the menu had something for everyone. We each enjoyed our food, with all 6 of us trying something different. My mother and I have been here twice and it's a truly great place. I'm going to give this establishment a 5 star here, but in reality, I'd rate it a 4.5. There are just a few small things keeping it from truly being a 5 for me. Let's dive in. First off, I got the BBQ Gator Skewers. They are truly fantastic, but only come default with one side (usually rice) and only one skewer. It's not worth the $22.00+ price that they have it set at. Give me one more skewer and one more side, then it's worth this much. My mother chose to get the hamburger steak, a salad, and a loaded baked potato. I can say that the steak itself and the salad were superb. It's too often that we find establishments using bagged salad ingredients and it's just awful. Rogue Local's salads are fresh. Just how it should be. Now, onto the issues that made our experience not a perfect 5. First off, there was a fair amount of miscommunication with our waiter Hutch. My food arrived missing the rice, which I had said to keep after asking for the fries. My mother got the complete wrong hamburger steak and never ordered the Philly cheese one. The baked potato that my mother got was over cooked, but we made do. Now, onto the real killer. Rogue Local, your brown gravy tastes like it's a mix and it's awful. Please change this and start making it homemade. Any dish you have that comes with brown gravy is being lowered in quality because of your current brown gravy. As for Hutch, he's a genuinely great guy. I just think he was missing his stride a little bit here today. This restaurant is truly great and I recommend you try it out. Oak finally has a competitor that's not Catfish King or Jake's in Idabel. read more

My husband and I recently ate here for the first time and we both really enjoyed our food! Not only was the presentation of the food eye appealing, but it tasted really good as well. He ordered the Beef Protein Bowl and I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad. As they were carrying it out to me, a customer said, "Oh that looks really good" and it really was. I also enjoyed the ranch dressing, I hate bottled ranch dressing, but there's seemed to be homemade and tasted really good. I was disappointed they didn't have any bottled water, but my husband went next-door to the drugstore and got me some. I have to drink very filtered water and so water that just comes out of the soda machine doesn't work for me, but we were able to resolve that. Honestly, I wasn't too crazy about their bread and butter, but was thankful they brought us some. Outside of that, we would both give our dinners a five 5. Didn't know you needed reservations but they sat us anyway. Great trendy downtown feel. Prompt drink orders, food orders were taken and around 20 mins our whole table was served everything perfect and every hungry man now satisfied with nothing but great things to say. fried fish, salmon power bowl, rib eye steaks, pork chops, and a burger were all ordered. Waitress was great, drinks stayed full. We had amazing service and the food was absolutely delicious! Well seasoned, well cooked. Solid place to go when visiting broken bow. Im giving this restaurant a 5 because I'm comparing it to restaurants in broken bow. This should definitely be on your list when visiting if you're looking to try somewhere new. We were served warm homemade tasting rolls at the beginning of the meal with yummy cinnamon butter for flavor, we definitely could have eaten a hundred of these rolls. Our server was so friendly, recommended some local attractions and was helpful and quick through the entire meal. For dinner all of us tried something different, I had the protein bowl and I'll say that it really hit the spot, healthy, yummy, full of flavor and the portion size was bigger than I expected. Collectively at the table we had the salmon bowl, ribeye steak, chicken fried steak and the hamburger, collectively we all agreed that we enjoyed the meal and the experience. We were there with large group and she let us sit down with only a few of us there and it took half an hour for everyone to show up. She also let us keep cake that we brought in the cooler until we were ready for it. The food however didn't match the description in the menu. We got bang bang shrimp and it had no avocado or Thai chili sauce. And we ordered salmon that was supposed to come with yum yum sauce but there was none. First we called to see what the wait time would be. The person on the phone said they were not busy, but she could not see into the future. We asked for reservations and they took the name of our party. When we arrived they ask us to wait until a table could be cleared. The wait was 30 minutes. We were then seated. A member of the wait staff came and took our drink order. Five minutes later, another member from the staff informed our party that the kitchen was overwhelmed and would not be taking any new orders. As they we're sharing this information with other patrons, we thanked them and left for another establishment. We did find another restaurant where we had no issues. read more
