My girlfriend and I came to eat here since her past uncle worked in the kitchen. She was greeted by every staff member with kind hearted words. She was very thankful for all the love and support. We had an amazing 3 course dinner with the very best service we had ever had. The place was very romantic. This is a hidden gem that offers wonderful French Cuisine, seafood, and steaks at a reasonable price. My wife and I come here on special occasions but will be making it more of a habit in the new year. We find it remarkably affordable given the quality of the food, service and ambience. The wait staff is knowledgeable and engaging and quite thorough. Gilles was our waiter and he took great care of us as usual.The food is wonderfully prepared and fresh with the produce and herbs grown and harvested from their own gardens.The wine list, while not extensive, does come from their own winery and boasts a selection that is more than ample and quite good.The interior is elegantly appointed and we understand they do offer live music on weekends though most of our visits have been in the middle of the week. It was a romantic, unrushed, enjoyable evening with a memorable meal. A reminder of what fine dining used to be. We can't wait to go back. read more

Totally unexpected! We thought Chateau des Fleurs only did special events, but it turns out their restaurant, Roghani's, is one of the best kept secrets in the Treasure Valley! If you are fortunate enough to have Gilles & his staff, you will receive a 5-star experience! We went on Saturday night and discovered international crooner Adam Gottesman who set the right vibe for this Saturday night. We encourage you to start with a bottle of wine and the Baked Brie en Croute. The French Onion soup is the best we've ever had, and we've had it it all around the world! We truly enjoyed the Salmon Wellington and Chicken Joujeh Kabob Platter. We're looking forward to going again next week to try the Pan Roasted Duck Breast al Confit and Raspberry Demi! * The original post below. I just wanted to update my review to add that Roghani's rescued out to apologize for my experience. Although it doesn't change my review, it was an appreciated effort. We had high hopes for Roghani's at Chateau des Fleurs, a beautiful destination. We had not eaten here since it was a mediocre French restaurant. Unfortunately, our expectations were not realized. We started with wine, which was the best part of the experience, although overpriced. Our dinner was with business associates, so we had a little to discuss while choosing entrees. Our server was pushy and tried to hurry us, even though there were only two tables, six other people, dining there besides us. In fact, no one else arrived during our meal. The feta was chosen for an appetizer, but our server suggested that the brie was a better choice. Only later, did we realize it was just an up-sale at over twice the cost. After ordering entrees, we waited 45 minutes for them to arrive. The salmon was cool to the touch and very overcooked and dry. The almond butter was nowhere to be seen or tasted, and the top of the salmon had a bit of once-fresh herbs that were now dried and unappealing, apparently having been left under the warming light for too long. The medium-rare-ordered steak arrived well done and flavorless. To be fair, the short ribs were the best entree we ordered, although not outstanding for the $34 price. For the same amount of money, we could have enjoyed a few different great Eagle restaurants, including the Tavern at Eagle Island, Bacquet's, and Bella Aquila, and received a better meal and had a more enjoyable experience. We won't be back. Such a disappointment for a beautiful venue. read more

I came here with my husband for an early valentines dinner and was not disappointed. The setting is romantic and elegant. You will definitely want to dress up to come here. They have a big wine list. The complementary bread and butter is great. The fried calamari and onion soup did not disappoint. The entrees were also good but wished the portions were larger. The service is amazing. They could just sense you needed something and were at the table before you could look around for someone. We will come back for our next dinner celebration for sure read more

We wanted try somewhere "different" and can't recommend Roghami's enough for a wonderful haute cuisine experience. The wine list was great and Roghani Vineyards Cabernet was terrific. The food was great. Each course impressed. We visited on a Friday and were entertained by Adam Gottesman, a singer of the great American standards. Highly recommend Roghani's Restaurant...and look forward to experiencing their high tea, which is served on Wednesdays. We will back! read more

My wife and I tried Roghani's out for out anniversary dinner. What a beautiful hidden gem. The very traditional French cuisine was nicely done. They have impeccable service and a very friendly welcoming environment. Everything was done in great taste and everything single staff member was bending over backwards to serve us well. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food served. They also have a great wine list that's priced fairly well. While I think many people think of this as a special occasion restaurant, it is more than that and should be a place that people frequent on a regular basis. The food served last night was straight out of their garden. Tomatoes for the AMAZING Brushetta; Beets, Raspberries, Peaches for the salad and the creamed soup! So fresh!! My husband had the braised short ribs and I had the lamb kabob. Everything was presented beautifully, was incredibly fresh and seasoned to perfection. The staff is very friendly and let us linger over a long dinner (2.5hrs). Wonderful atmosphere, a little sparse in seating due to COVID requirements - but please put this on your list! We wanted something special for our 38th Wedding Anniversary ,so my daughter ordered dinner for us, from Roghanis, Chateau de Fleurs. We picked it up curbside, beautifully packaged and the smell was intoxicating. Couldn't wait to pop the champagne and eat ! They did get the pastas mixed up and I would have deducted a star for that, but, I wouldn't have tried the linguine with pesto normally , it was divine ! (They were very apologetic and wanted to make amends. ) The warm Brie with apple was a crowd pleaser for everyone , the French Onion soup and cheesecake equally splendid ! We traveled in from Cincinnati for our daughter's graduation from BSU, and looked forward to taking her out to a beautiful celebratory meal. We arrived and was greeted with a host with dirt on her hands and wearing pajama looking pants. She said she was digging in the garden ‍. We sat for 45 minutes before our appetizers came (the appetizers were delish!). We sat for another hour and 15 minutes before getting our meal to the table (there were only 4 of us in our party). My food was barely warm and dry (mushroom risotto), my daughter's chicken was super dry (chicken marsala), my husband ordered the scallops and was super disappointed with not only how small they were, but how few were even on the plate. The best thing about the restaurant was the singer! The only reason for 2 stars and not zero is that the singer came over and apologized for our evening (giving us some hand lotions -weird), and our poor waiter who ended up comping my dinner and giving us free desserts while being disappointed we didn't want to stay any longer to eat them (we were seated for almost 3 hours!). For $250, it was a HUGE disappointment for all of us, and not how we looked forward to celebrating our daughter's hard work. Tonight, we look forward to going to Texas Roadhouse! read more

At lunch time is quiet... one stuff mending the tables. Not much changed in terms of looks from the French restaurant that enchanted us in the past, except the tables, now they sport a new trend... made out of plastic. They may have been there before but they were well covered by the table cloth. The stuff serving us had a very nice personality, very welcoming and inviting , however unkempt, sporting a well used full of stains apron. Now let's talk about the food, not very good. Unfortunately, we were not able to try the food but the menu items looked appetizing. The atmosphere was GORGEOUS, so 1 star for that. The gentleman at the door was very pleasant and welcomed us right away. Another star for that. That's where the stars end for me. We were seated at our table and after 30 minutes, we still hadn't received our drinks and started to get agitated. We scanned the room and noticed that people who had arrived before us still had menus on their tables, so it appeared that the level of service wasn't going to get any better if we chose to stay. We were a party of 3 and agreed that our waiter must be overwhelmed and that we should get up and leave. My brother stayed behind to tell our waiter to cancel our drinks but after waiting several minutes, with no waiter in sight, he opted to just tell a young lady who was working there to tell our waiter, instead. (FYI- they don't have a bar, just beer and wine, so it wasn't like the one glass of wine and one beer we ordered should have taken more than a half an hour to pour). I suggest if you come, go somewhere else that has a bar to get cocktails and something to tide you over beforehand, so you don't arrive hungry. This was our fourth time going to Roghani's and we still find it to be lacking. I could talk about each dish but it is easier to just sum it up as, they were ok. For the price and the expectation they were a little disappointing. Over cooked vegetables, underwhelming protein and simple presentation. We have gone back because we have been given gift cards and every time we have been my husband and I agree that there is nothing that makes us want to return. The atmosphere has great potential since it is a beautiful building. Things that hold it back, fake flowers that are old and dingy( a bouquet from Costco would be more than enough for little vases on each table) fake candles that don't work,(tea candles from Amazon would be better) card tables with long out dated table clothes make it feel cheesy. The grounds look like the property is abandoned. It has always seemed like it is on the verge of closing. read more

I honestly regularly tip 30-40% for good servers. those who think good service is a French accent might like it. I guess my money isn't fit for this place I felt wildly ignored. this is the first ever bad review I have ever left in nearly a half century of life.
