Bought our brand new Hyundai Santa Fe from Ben English. He's very patient, informative, kind, and didn't pressure us at all. We did a test drive about 2 months before actually purchasing, and he still remembered us! We felt comfortable with Ben, we knew he wasn't trying to rip us off and was very supportive in our long decision-making process (we spent over an hour going back and forth outside the dealership deciding whether we wanted to buy). Very, very poor service. My service rep Joe Erco did not communicate with me since my initial drop off of my car on a Friday. When I called him on Tues for an update, he claimed he had been trying to call and left several messages. However, I didn't get a missed call or voicemail from him. Several days went by, and still no word from anyone, even after I called and left several messages for Joe. When I finally reached him and decided I didn't want the service they were trying to charge $650 for, I never heard from anyone again. I had to eventually pick my car up and take it elsewhere. I recently bought a 2014 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T from Rogers Auto Group and my Salesman was Nathan Myers. Nathan was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle and the Brand. He was down to earth and overall a pretty cool dude, not your typical salesman that you come across. Nathan wasn't pushy and was pretty honest and straight forward. I would personally give Nathan 5 stars! Rogers Auto Group gets 3 stars in my opinion... As with any dealership always do your homework. I stopped in after seeing a price online as it was pretty much the cheapest price I found listed anywhere. I just happen to be in the area as I live about 35 miles away. Pretty much on the first visit Rogers Auto Group gave me the price they had listed on the website, even though there was a $2000 dollar rebate from Hyundai. I had mentioned that I thought the price might of already had that included since it was so low. Now that was probably my fault... But any how I ended up leaving since I had to discuss it with my wife. When I got home I decided to message the dealer from that website and ask what was the price after the $2000 dollar rebate. Ofcourse my phone rang shortly after and Beatrice said that she could get me the car for almost $2,000 cheaper than I was originally quoted. I asked her to email me the quote so I could have some ammo for the next day. Stopped in the next day to talk to Nathan... I presented him with my Ammo and he came back with the same price. After that was done they presented me with the payout for my trade in. I feel like they were trying to make a little back on that so I decided to keep it which sucked because I had to drive it home, while the wife got to drive the new car! Had an appt at 1:30 today to get a recall serviced on my car. There was no one in front of me. It took 20 minutes of me standing there to get any acknowledgment and another 20 to actually get help. Only 1 of 7 or 8 people spoke to me. I know it's a challenging time, and had someone given me at least some idea of what was happening or that people were running really behind, it would have made a big difference. But no one even seemed to acknowledge that I was there even as 5 service advisors were at their desks. In addition, only half of your service advisors were wearing masks. I understand if no one is around - I think we all get tired of having them on. But even those that were wearing them did not have them around their noses when speaking to customers, including me. I am high-risk, so this made me even more frustrated. I just moved to Chicago and this was my first experience with the dealership - not a great first impression. Oscar was helpful when I finally got to speak with him. I just wish there was a greater effort made to acknowledge that I was there to begin with. read more

Daniel Nino Sold me a certified used car that had transmission trouble within a week of purchasing vehicle. This was a terrible experience. They "fixed" it. Then the following week I had to return it for service because the transmission was still having issues. I contacted Daniel Nino and tell him I'm coming in Monday he says ok I'll have a loaner car ready and I will personally bring your car into get serviced. I get there and there a no loaner cars available and all I get is an offer to return when they have loaner cars available. They have no value for their customers time and I would never purchase a car here again and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I received a call for an Special event Customers appreciation on weekend of April 26th, Over the phone, the lady made sounds very fabulous and wanted walk in to check their promotion on a still paying Hyundai Elantra 2015, They offered a great buying back value and Special offers available for coming back clients. I walked in with a Pre approved credit from My bank, I specified what I was looking for. To make story short, I ended buying a 2019 Hyundai Tucson SE then I changed next Monday for a Tucson 2018 Limited because I told the sales man a SUV with panoramic Sunroof, But when driving test The truck was all covered with snow( Yes, We had a snow storm in April 27th in Chicago) also I didn't recall when Signing paperwork they stick me another bank (Their Bank), Then is when you realize once contract signed you don't have any change to remorse your mind when you find out all the content of contract, because when you looking at any paper work they are overwhelming you with conversations, ( Of course, that way you do not pay attention completely to paperwork and numbers. Its a buying under pressure tactic. Once I changed for the next car, They premise to delivery in good conditions because they just got it, Next day, they send you back home with a very inside dirty truck and lot of dog furr from last owner and smelling like shit. Four Star Service, cause well, nobody's perfect :-) I purchased my vehicle in a different state and had it serviced at Roger's upon moving to Chicago; that was 5 years ago. My Chevy has been serviced there ever since. The location works great for me because its near my home/work and the Service department hours work well for me. The Service Consultants are all nice enough but I can't say enough about Derrick. Derrick has always been professional, knowledgeable and honest when dealing with me; his follow - up is great, whether it is arranging a ride to work or setting up a rental, I can count on him to make sure everthing goes smoothly. The times that I have been less than satisfied, I have been able to speak with a manager and get things resolved, pretty much, the same day. I will consider Roger's when making my new car purchase. read more

I pulled up for an 8 am appointment and There was a line around the block. I waited for an hour and half and moved forward about 3 cars. No one came out to check or let us know what was going on. In the future maybe they shouldn't allow walk ins and limit the number of appointments at a given time. Excellent Customer Service!! I bought a Toyota Corolla 2001 model at Rogers Auto Group and moved to Raleigh immediately. They allowed me to take the car our mechanic shop to have a look. They were very responsive to my problem and gave a good price for the car too. They got me a 30 days drive-away and later while registering my car at Raleigh I has a small problem with change in mileage in my title. They understood my urgency and took action immediately in getting all the documents so that I could get my car registration in ease. I can give an A+ for customer service. read more

I've never purchased a car from Rogers, but their service department really, really impressed me. I brought it my dying Saturn into them a few years ago and they took great care of me. Once it became clear that the cost of fixing the car was going to be worth more than the car itself, they told me that openly and then held my car on the lot for nearly a week until it could be towed away for parts. It was probably clear to all of them that I knew nothing about cars, but they were patient and explained the situation carefully. I've always brought my new car back there for service and have continued to have good experiences. The staff is incredibly friendly, the service times have been beyond reasonable, and they always offer me a taxi voucher if my car needs to stay over night. I hope I can find such a friendly and helpful service center everywhere I live! read more

While driving down Michigan Ave. going south I was suddenly cut off by a car that drifted swiftly into my lane without out any acknowledgement of my vehicle AT ALL. To prevent rear ending this car I was forced to drive UP on the median. The Idiot driving the other card gave me an "I'm sorry" look and hand gesture as they pulled off and I angrily pulled to the side of the street to see what was causing the sound of metal to pavement grinding. To my surprise my front tire (driver's side) was completely busted. As I looked to the right of me I saw Rogers Auto Group. Luckily a man named Kevin who worked at Roger's came to my rescue. He told me that he would have the mechanic there put my spare tire on so that I could get home. The spare tire that I had in my in truck turned out to be the wrong one for my car and it would not. I couldn't believe whats was happening to me. I was going to be forced to leave my car and take the bus home until I was able to get a new tire the next day, Thankfully, one associate seemed to be determined to have my car fixed in order for me to get home, He found a used tire in their stock that fit my car almost perfectly and sent me happily on my way. All of this was done free of charge!!!! There really are still some nice people out there. I was really grateful for the service i received from Roger's and all of the associates there. I was contacted by Jim Wheeler stating that I needed to go to finance and discuss payment options, and I was told that the bank would not finance me after they had financed me, and Jim Wheeler stated that he did not know anything about it. This place is not professional at all, they did not follow the appropriate steps in closing a car deal, and they did not want to pay off the other car company that I had originally purchased the car with. Yes, I'm writing a positive review on Auto Maintenance. Took my car to Roger's yesterday for it's 70K checkup. I was greeted in 2 minutes and sitting with a service rep within 5 minutes. There's a list of things to inspect and/or replace. I was ready to get my wallet out figuring there would be a number of things to replace. Keith explained exactly what they would do and call me if there was anything out of the ordinary. Well, no call. Checkup was fine and the only things replaced were needed to keep the Warranty. What a relief. The garage was spotless and everything was done in very little time. They even fixed my rear hatch, which was stuck, at no charge. I've dealt with Rogers for 10 years now and have been nothing but satisfied. Again, thanks, Keith, you were great. read more

Scheduled a service appointment 1-week before the actual service date (Thursday of the following week), even listing the recalls that needed to be done. The communication with the service representative / manager since was horrendous. When i dropped the vehicle off I was told it would be ready by the end of the day. Called the following day to get an update, received no response. Called back the following morning, spoke with a manager who said the vehicle was in the process of going through the inspection and he would return my call. No response from the service representative or the manager the rest of day. Frustrated with the lack of communication, I decide to pick-up my truck Monday evening. Its revealed that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was done to the truck. I will be taking my business else where. read more

Usually the only fun part of buying a new car is driving off the lot and enjoying that new car smell... However, Rogers Auto Group and their staff made my entire purchase experience enjoyable. No, really. They did!! I called them on a Friday night and spoke to Tony. He was patient, informative and took the time to answer ALL of my questions. He didn't pressure me just to get me in the door, from our first conversation I felt like he genuinely wanted to help me. I made an appointment to come by the next day (Saturday). Side Note: I work in the service business and Tony's over-the-phone customer service was top notch!! Leaps and bounds ahead of the other dealerships I spoke to. Trying to be the best /smartest consumer I can, I made appointments at 3 dealerships. I knew the exact vehicle I wanted (new Hyundai Accent), I did my online research: I knew what I wanted to pay, I had an idea of what I wanted for my trade-in and I had high expectations of a good finance rate. Rogers was my second appointment of the day. I had a VERY frustrating morning appointment at another dealership. This other dealership tried to hose me, man. Total bait and switch. I was ready to have an equally disappointing experience at Rogers Auto Group. Now, I don't want to spoil the rest of this review, BUT I will tell you... I never made it to my third appointment :) When I arrived I was greeted by the lovely receptionist (can't remember her name), she was a doll. Tony, who was equally warm and friendly in person as over the phone, came over to greet me and introduce me to my salesperson, Isaac. Since I was very frustrated from my first appointment, I was ready to get down to BIZNASS immediately upon arrival. Isaac let me know that they would prepare a vehicle for a test drive. In my frustrated condition I declined the test drive (already test drove earlier in the day) and let him know I wanted to talk numbers. He happily obliged my tough cookie attitude and we immediately sat down to talk numbers. Bless Isaac's heart, I was in no mood to mess around and less than friendly. I was definitely on the offensive. He did not beat around the bush! I told him what the other dealership offered me and what I wanted from him. After a brief conversation he had finance work on some numbers for me. After a short wait he presented me with a form breakdown of EVERYTHING: New vehicle price Trade in offer (that was very fair and in the realm of what I wanted) APR LESS THAN 1/2 OF WHAT THE OTHER DEALERSHIP OFFERED ME! LESS THAN HALF!!!! While comparing numbers Isaac explained how low the mark-up is on a new vehicle and even pointed out how the other dealership was trying to take me for a ride (LOL, you know my pun made you giggle). He was not defamatory against the other dealership and their crap offer in any way, but very straight forward. He explained what they were trying to do and explained how Rogers Auto Group works - they operate similarly to Carmax when it comes to new vehicles. Minimal/no haggling and straight forward pricing/financing. At this point, Isaac really won me over and I felt I was able to trust him. Yep, trust a car salesman... that's no pun, my friends. For realsies. I was able to drop my on-the-offense attitude and it was time to start thinking of a name for my new whip. Isaac made my car buying process painless and actually enjoyable. If car sales was like a game of volleyball: It's like Tony set the ball (of customer service and honestly) and Isaac spiked it right in my face... I mean that in the best way, seriously :) Now it was time to wait for my new ride to be prepared and head on over to the finance office to meet with Allan. Allan was a riot! He's not only got jokes, but fantastic fashion sense (love that fuchsia shirt, Al!). Just like Isaac he was straight forward, didn't try to sell me extended warranties I didn't need (um, HELLO! Hyundai has the best warranty in America. Duh!) and gave me a great price on GAP Insurance. Side Note: As a gal that was in an accident less than a week after buying my last car, you betta believe I was buying that gap insurance!! Normally that visit to the finance office when buying a new car leaves a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. All the numbers given to me earlier in the day by Isaac were exactly the same when it was time to sign my paperwork with Allan. There was not a tinge of buyer's remorse or worry when I signed my life away. In fact, for the first time in my life, it felt good to sign those papers. Allan was very informative and helpful. I've been servicing my car at Rogers since 2014. I have mixed reviews. The wait can be extremely long, but the service techs are very nice. They also offer to drop you off to any destination. I was helped by gentleman named Hector in the service department this week.He called me promptly with details on my automobile. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, bunch of liars who don't care about customers or your car. Issues: I took my corvette stingray for oil change and dropped it off because I couldn't wait all day for them to do a oil change. 2 days later I picked it up and noticed grease all over the steering wheel and shift knob. Also the driver seat had wholes in it that were caused by someone's keys hanging on their side when sitting in the car. I told Derrick about it and he apologized and said they will clean it up and fix the seat i waited for hours and I walked to the back the car was still where i left it. I ended up scheduling to bring it back next week and I left. I cleaned the grease off myself because they just didn't care and Derrick told me "well these guys are mechanics and they're not always clean" I brought the car back the following week on a Wednesday and dropped it of to get the seat fixed, didn't hear from them so i called on Friday and they said it will be done tomorrow (Saturday) I went there and it wasn't done. Derrick told me "I don't see anything in my notes about the seat" so the car was sitting there for nothing and nobody did anything. They rescheduled me for Tuesday i dropped it of again and on Friday it was done. When i checked the paperwork there was extra 29 miles on the car and they said the place that does the interior and body work is about a mile away. Derrick's answer was "I don't know what to tell you man I'll have a talk with the guys" Also the screen wasn't working properly and i scheduled to have it replaced and it took them almost a month and half to finally fix it. Same issues they kept promising it will be done and i go get my car and find out nobody touched it. Then i had Rogers Auto Group change my tires and it took a week to get the tires in then when they finally replaced them i went to get my car and noticed that there was damage on 3 of my wheels. There was deep scratches and scuffs that looked very bad. I went back to and told Derrick to come see it, he called the manager Frank to also see it and they both apologized and told me..probably while they were dismounting the old tires off the wheels and installing the new tires they must have scuffed and dented the wheels. I was promised by both Derrick and Frank the manger that the proper repairs will be performed and I won't notice a scratch on any of them. I was scheduled the following Wednesday to bring the car back and have the wheels repaired. I went back and Derrick told me the guy who does the wheels wasn't there so I'll have to come back. It went on for over a month, then I told Derrick this is ridiculous how long it's taking and you don't care about it. They switched me to another service advisor John and he said bring it back on Tuesday night and it will be finished Wednesday afternoon. So i called to see if it was finished and it wasn't. I was told to come back on Friday my cousin went back to get my car and i was expecting it to be looking the way it was originally and the way Frank and John promised, it wasn't. It looked like the wheels were just touched with a brush and the rest of them look like they were rattle canned with over spray everywhere. At first when i told John it doesn't look good he said" what you mean i looked at it myself and it's perfect" Then when he came out and saw them he told my cousin" I don't know I'll have to speak to my boss" and he left. I called him and told him what's going on he said that's the best we can do. Now i have to pay for the damage they caused. All of them are bunch of liars including the managers who don't care about anyone. It's not fair how they treat customers and customers vehicles and here they promise you all the best. I drove myself 1hr. 15min to get out there to see jackie. I walked in, asked for her....and continued to wait. The receptionist called Jackie to let her I was there, and It sounded like She tried to pass me off to someone else. Was to I'd be meeting with Charles...ok, so tell me why set an appointment if I had to WAIT to see the salesman, Charles? Isn't that the point of setting up an appointment?I have been in the customer service and sales insiders for years, and I can honestly say this is the first experience I've ever had where I told management I will NEVER return to their facility. I waited to Charles to see me for a good twenty minutes, and he greeted me with a meager loose handshake and a complaint basically saying he was going to go eat if it weren't for me being there. "I'll be alright though." um, YEAH you will be! I don't care if you didn't get the chance to eat, how is that my problem? Then he actually asked me if I had a red bull when he heard metal clinking in my bad. Charles, shouldn't YOU be the one getting me something to drink if i was there to consider purchasing a vehicle from you? Hmm...So we go through the process of the application, and I told him what vehicle I'd love, and what was important in getting a new vehicle for me. He takes my paperwork, and disappears for a good 10mins. Comes back-my credit is ok, but claims due to lack of history I'd need a consigner. now, I know this is normal BUT according to their website they're able to help everyone. WRONG. I drove that far to be told what I could been told down at the dealer down the street ? That was irritating and disappointing. I feel as if their advertising about getting everyone in a car is FALSE! So after that disappointment, I decided I did not come there for nothing and asked Charles to grab me a brochure on the vehicle of my interest, the Chevy Spark. Knowing the interest I have in the vehicle before meeting me, don't you think he'd have things like that available for me? NOPE, he has to go look for it. After about 15 minutes of sitting and waiting for this brochure, I can feel me aggravation deepening. the pissed off look on my face caught the attention of a manager, who called Charles back to me. I understand if you're busy looking for them, but at least chk in with me and let me know you're looking, right? So I continue to sit with Charles and go over my financing options, at which he was not very helpful. Nearing the end of my rope, I ask Charles to grab me some brochures of compact, fuel economic vehicles. What does he bring back? Brochures for a Buick, Expidition, etc.... I told Charles he hadn't listened to what I was looking for and gave most of the back, and got ready to go. I asked Charles if the man the did the appraisals was still available, and he told me no, he was gone for the day. At this point, flustered and irritated at the terrible customer service, I begin to walk out when I notice another employee and ask him if the guy that does the appraisals was still around. He said he'd look into it, and get back with me. So again, I waited....and waited.... For at least another 10 mins. Finally I walk to the center desk in the showroom and ask the guy if he was able to find the appraisal man or not. This guy points to a man about three feet away and told me that's who I was looking for. Ok, so then what was the point of making me wait when he was literally in front of your face, hmmm mr. Creepy salesman? I was then asked by the salesman the year, vehicle make and model and mileage, which was shouted over the counter to the appraisal guy and asked if he'd be interested in taking a look at it. Appraisal guys response? "we don't really buy that car over here, how many miles did you say it has?" I repeated me mileage to which he was hesitant, so I told him there been a lot of maintenance done to the vehicle. His smartass response?:"well YEAH With 150,000 miles on it! I told hi, he didn't understand, that my guy is a mechanic and I'm a service manager at an auto shop, it really HAS been well maintained. To this, the jerk didn't even turn around his chair to face me. 'manager standing nearby could see how upset I was and basically begged the guy to appraise my car, which I still got the feeling he didn't want to do. This bad customer service all around made me say for the first time ever that I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!! Was treated so rudely it took me an hour to calm down and now all my advice to everyone is to NEVER GO HERE!!!! Nobody should have to wait 86 minutes just to pick up a car, especially when the mechanic called and said "come on in your car is ready". Yes they were busy, but we weren't waiting on an oil change or something simple...our car was there for 6 days getting repaired, which was expected. But to make a trip down to pick up the car because we were told to and then have to wait that long just for someone to hand over the keys...unreal. Time to take my 6 years of business to Rogers elsewhere...and my new car purchase. Absolutely brutal. read more

I bought 2 vehicles from Rogers in 2010. A Buick Enclave and a Gmc Acadia. The service dept was horrible, they revamped and it got better. Then it took another dive. Here we are today, I made an APPOINTMENT for a oil change ( they got to make money too) since I have an extended warranty ( I bought from them) I had some additional work that I wanted addressed. I was told 4 to 5 hours before someone can look at it! I don't blame the service advisor Sean, he's just doing his job. All I wanted was a loaner car to go home and try and enjoy the rest of a long overdue day off. Their competition D'Arcy in Joliet on the other hand had me in a loaner in 10 mins. My next purchase (soon because of the auto show) will NOT BE AT ROGERS. Not until they revamp the service dept again. Until then I advise do not bring your vehicle to Rogers. UPDATE, Rogers has redeemed themselves! With the help of Wally in the sales dept. (He actually sold us both cars) I received a loaner at no charge and the problem was completely fixed! Because of employees like him I will go back to Rogers. If you go to Rogers look up Wally, he a stand up guy! read more

AVOID if you care about time , because they do not! Glad handing after being disrespected is more disrespectful. Was told one hour wait that became 3.5 hours. Had to prompt staff to close out ticket after job was done and that took 20min. 'Appplgetic' staff can't make up for lost time. As bad as Mike Andersons breaking bolts and not replacing them. Guess I'll look for a 3rd GM service center. Don't expect the truth from this outfit. No token of an effort to make up for their short commings a coupon for a scoop of ice cream would have been a gesture beyond a wink and smile . STAY AWAY! read more

Do not bring your car here under any circumstance! Do not trust their service department to tell you what is wrong with your car! The service team was rude, condescending, and "out to lunch" any time I called for a status update about my car. Derrick apparently was at lunch from 12:45-3:15 and then again from 4:30 until he left at 5:00. My car was towed in for a simple battery replacement because the terminals had gotten corroded. $280 later, I was told that I also needed a new alternator, which would cost another $550. Instead of having Rogers make the repair, I drive my car the short distance to my mechanic (desperately hoping the car wouldn't die again on the way) only to find out that my alternator was fine. The service team at Rogers blew a few of my fuses when they changed my battery and for $10 worth of new fuses, my car was absolutely fine. If I had let Rogers replace my alternator I would have been needlessly out another $550 to fix something that wasn't broken. Now they won't stop calling me about having them do some recall work - as if I would EVER give them any more business?!? You have been warned... read more

I'm writing solely on behalf of the service department. They are the BEST! I had a few special requests regarding obtaining my past repair bills, and they got it to me super prompt with no hassle. I tried to get the same records with Fletcher Jones Mercedes Service, and the experience with them was like pulling teeth! I wish I could give them ZERO stars. I went to the dealership a few weeks ago. The door was locked, but another customer was nice enough to let me in. I walked around the showroom for over seven minutes. Several "salespeople" were sitting in a glass walled office, watching me walk around, but no one came out to speak with me. Once again I have to come on here to write a review regarding my experience. A couple of week ago, I came in to inform the services department about two (2) noises I was hearing under my car. (1) a knocking sound under my car (2) a metal sound scrapping the pavement. After inspecting my car, they informed me that I have a crack linked and that it will be almost $500.00 to fix. Okay thank you , so I paid the money and when I got my car back, I still heard the 2 sound of the metal again and now my check engine light comes on and off at times. I have tried 4 times since getting my car back to call and inform them that I am still hearing this sound and that I need this fix and don't feel like I have to pay because I informed them of this sound when I first came to get my car service. To date, I have not heard from anyone, have left several messages and still nothing. I don't know what happened to their customer service but it's not the same. I am so frustrated because I don't know what the sound is and if someone was to ride around in the car, they would hear it. How do I even know my car is safe to drive. Came to Rogers once again and helped my son purchase his first new car and as always no long wait we were there 2 hours with our salesman Ramses and he was very professional and knowledgeable of everything we asked. He got us an approval in 20 minutes and had us driving away in my sons ney car in a very efficient time. We wanna just thank Rogers once again for the great deal and service we recieved. read more
