Got a screw in my tire and didn't want to spend a ton of money replacing. Picked out a nice used one online from these guys of the same tire and tread wear for my ruined tire. Shipped fast and the price was fair. Will use again if I am in a similar situation. read more

I order wheel for my Tesla model 3 , guy name Matt, told me it has to take 3 days to get it . He scheduled my appointment for Friday , right 3 days after my order was placed. After waiting an hour for the service, I was informed that wheel never arrived and I have to wait another week until they get the wheel. My question is , why service was scheduled if part didn't arrived. Three business days later , nobody even tried to contact me to solve this issue. Once I addressed that , in very distracting form I was told that nobody would solve my problem and I will get a refund. I don't need a refund, I need service done . No other solutions were offered. Screenshot attached. I hope I will get my money back. This situation very suspicious. Update, just got a message from Matt. He accused me in being rude with customer service . So, from his words, it my fault that they cannot provide the service. Even better. Thank you screenshot attached Update : unfortunately after business owner response, clearly understandable where that bad service comes from. Still blames me for bad behavior with his staff , how about 2 hours I spent at your location because your employees cannot check if they have a part. Last thing, your supply chain problems will not bother customer with proper communication. Poorest customer service I would recommend to avoid this place at all cost, because at the end of the day, it going to be your fault that they can not do something. read more

I purchased two sets of tires, all used. Each had over 7mm in tread. Price was good. Delivery was ok. One tire had a hole in it. It took more than a week to identify and get it fixed. Be careful of their 7-day policy in this situation. They refused to pay for the patch and make it right. I enjoy purchasing tires from your company because they are always in great and sometimes in like new condition. Your delivery is always exactly as advertised and your customer service is excellent! Going thru FED-EX is something else and sometimes problematic with split day deliveries and delays but nevertheless the tires always arrive. read more

MY WOMAN AND I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED! This place is selling damaged/repaired motorcycle tires as "new". Had one blow out on freeway at 80 mph with just 40 miles on it. When I complained, they said "Have a nice day!" because was 3 weeks outside 7 day install return window. I would not risk my life to save a few $$ with these guys, but go ahead and roll the dice if you're a gambler like that. read more

The team at United Tires is not only incredibly speedy, helpful, but they also don't mansplain. I recently had a sidewall blowout on a run flat so I drove over to United Tires. Service was speedy, and when asking about my replacement they didn't try to oversell or assume I didn't know what I was talking about. I am on the verge of getting a full new set of tires, and they didn't push back when I opted for the cheapest single run flat to get me by until I replaced the full set. After the service, they also replaced the soon to be dead battery in my key fob without me asking or charging me. Really great team and wonderful service. read more

BEWARE! Company knowingly sells defective tires! Not only is this dangerous, but so so shady. And having people that do not speak English as their first language on customer service is pretty dumb. Only offering a refund if you remove your negative review. Not happening read more

I damaged a tire on my car a couple weeks ago and new replacements were over $200, so I started shopping around for decent used. eBay had some, but a lot of those had sidewall repairs, which is dangerous and isn't supposed to be done. Google took me instead to United Tires, who say they don't do that. My tire with 8/32nds left on the tread was $70, so I figured it was worth a try. I got tracking for the tire (shipping was free) through FedEx and it arrived. Initial inspection showed their tread measurement was correct and the tire had one repair as they mentioned (in the tread, which is fine). No other damage to the tire and date of manufacture was from 2022, which is pretty close to my existing tires. Overall my experience was great. Their process was pretty pain free, the tire was a good price, shipping was speedy and the tire is fairly new and in good operable condition. I would buy tires from United again. read more

I bought a set of new Bridgstone tires from United Tires in January. 3000 miles later, I have to replace them because the tire depth is down to 5 mm. These guys have no warranty and probably sold me used tire instead of new (they sell used tires as well). Stay away from this outfit. read more

They sent me a tire with a patch on the side wall. I called them they told me to get it put on. I would never put a damaged tire on my Suv Still have not seen a refund from them. I saw on ebay that they have sent tires out to other customers with the same problem. That's horrible. read more

Wanted to purchase a tire on eBay to find out this company is from Chicago ! The best service in and out within 20 min for a tire change if not busy ! Just bought my second pair of Michelin tires from United. I couldn't be more satisfied with the knowledgeable and friendly customer service, and the value I got for my money. I am a return customer, and expect to remain one. PS: The tires I bought had 9/32 of tread, as advertised. Brand-new tires have 10-10.5/32. So these tires were about 1/10 worn, or 90% of tread remaining. They look and ride like brand-new tires, at a far lower cost. Don't hesitate to do business with United. It's reassuring to find a label attached to my shipment that reads something like "Our goal is to make you happy...if you have a problem of any kind, please call (tollfree number) 24/7." read more

United Tires is doing it right. They keep the inventory moving. I found the USED Michelin tires I needed a few weeks ago and hesitated. Gone. So a few days ago, I look and again and found what I needed and ordered it right away. The description and pics of the USED tires were spot on. I'll be back and happy to do business again! And overall EXCELLENT experience as it should be. I've been buying tires from them for about 3yrs now, never wrote a review because I thought eventually something would happen, and I'd feel not really treated in a way for whatever reason, that I thought was not right. Well, I have to right a review because that just doesn't happen with this company. They have ALWAYS tried to make you feel as though you have to be made to feel as a very important customer, and a big part of there success, now how cool is that. Principles, standards and follow thru like this world no longer practices, I LOVE IT, I can count in one hand the companies I deal with that do this. CONGRATULATIONS and kudos, keep up the great work, look forward to a long lasting productive relationship, what an AMAZING customer service department from top to bottom. read more

I had a screw go through my tire on a quick 48 hour trip to Chicago. I went to another tire repair shop where they attempted to repair. However the damage they found was too severe so I had to get a new tire. This shop didn't have the tire I required, but they recommended United Tire. I called right away and the receptionist found a tire that was in-stock and most cost effective. I went right over and the kind employees got right to work and I was good to go in less than 15 min!! these guys were great! I emailed over the weekend, got an appointment Monday morning and was helped right away. They were honest about the issues, and non-issues, and gave me a good price. I received the tire quickly and took it to Discount Tire for installation. They would not install it because there was an interior patch that was completed separate from the exterior patch. I ate the $30 I spent on the tire. Maybe this is just a Discount Tire issue, but I recommend asking your installer before you buy. read more

I knew I could get repaired tires. I did not expect that the repairs would be on the sidewalls. The manufacturer and most credible shops advise against repairs on the sidewall. The tires I bought were for a Tesla Model X, very heavy and very fast. The speed rating of the tire is compromised with a patch on the sidewall. One of the tires I received does not hold air, not surprised. United offered to send a replacement but with a different tread depth and an older production date code. I followed their steps for replacement and they changed their tune, I'm outta luck, wasted time and money. read more

Don't buy tires here, unless you want your TPMS light on and have a leak from cheap plug not even patch right!!!!! I ordered a tire to use as a spare since the original spare had an unrepairable puncture. Based on several negative reviews, I was somewhat hesitant and confirmed with "Mike" that the tire was as advertised....no plugs or patches. The tire was delivered in a few days and was in excellent condition. Where else can you buy a 9/32 tread 21" 275/45 Continental tire for $70? Tracking was provided and United provided follow up emails to confirm order and delivery status. Very satisfied with buying experience. Will use again if need arises. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! United Tires sold me a tire with a slow leak from the sidewall. The leak took a few days to show that the tire was defective and United Tires refuses to fix the problem and is simply pocketing the money. Safe tires keep you safe. United Tires posts a lot of pictures making it look like they inspect and pressure test their tires but they are not actually doing that. BUYER BEWARE!! DONT GET BURNED LIKE ME!! We are all better off buying new tires that are safe than risking it with these shoddy used tires. I tried and made this mistake only once. It's crazy that this company will not take responsublity for the defects in their tires! read more

After being annoyed with a slow air leak in my rear tire, I sought out the nearest tire place, which United Tires just so happened to be one of the places I found. In order to assist me more with my search I utilized Yelps feature sending out a request for a quote, and United Tires was one of the quicker responses I got out of 11. After waiting a few minutes for more responses I said forget it and headed towards its location in Humboldt Park because no other responder sold used tires. Once I entered, I headed straight towards the front desk and told the employee what was wrong with my tire. He then gave me a tablet where I entered basic information into the system. After that, my wandering eyes got the chance to look around at the place to see some of its items and prices. One thing that drove me bonkers was their fancy coffee maker which I ended up saying "the hell with!". Ha! I could give two craps about the fancy stuff, just give me coffee!. While walking around I was blown away once I stepped foot into its waiting area which had nice furniture, a flat screen television and free Wi-Fi access w/ charging outlets & cords to keep me occupied and comfortable as I waited on my repair. I imagined that a minor tire repair or replacement tire would have been quicker, but what ever they did with my car, it took over an hour! Going over the hour, I started to think if they had forgot about me or if it was something major wrong with my tire. And after noticing on the wall that they charge $80 an hour for labor, it prompted me to see what was going on with my car. Good thing I checked because come to find out my car was done!. And I had been waiting in the waiting room for over an hour for who knows how long my car was completed. Go figure!. They patched up the slow air leak in my tire which was a huge relief, and the total price ended up being only $25 which was lower than I expected. In closing, yes, I would return but best believe I would check on my vehicle every 15 minutes spent waiting, after what I initially experienced. Take all I have mentioned in consideration and I hope this review assists you in any way. Thomas G read more

I've been to United Tires several times and it's always a great experience. The prices are fair, customer service is excellent and the service is pretty quick. If I could rate them with negative stars, I would. Buyer beware! I was sold expired old tires without warning back in March. The mobile installer showed me the expired date of 2019 which was even older than my vehicle. When I called and questioned about the old tires, i was told that they are kept inside and protected from the elements. I was offered to send them back (after waiting a week for them) or a $150 refund. I took the money. It's just 4 months later, i am having to replace one of the tires already. The inside of the tire is completely dry rotted and the sidewall exposed. I called to ask about a warranty. Their "warranty" is essentially nothing. I would not buy from this place again. Shop elsewhere. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Their warranty is WORTHLESS! Purchased (2) pre-owned high tread depth tires from them via EBAY. One of the tires received developed a leak in a previously patched area less than a week later, which cannot be fixed! This seller has put me thru hell! Make a long story short, they do not have an acceptable replacement tire to send me and have offered an account credit only if I return the tire. Problem is, when I had their tires installed, my old tires were scrapped and I have nothing to put on the car in the meantime to return their junk tire so I can buy a replacement! Great prices. Delayed delivery was due to shipping label issue I was told by FedEx. Tires had 2 nails in 1 tire and 1 nail in the other close to side wall. Sad to have to change my original 5 star review, but I gave United Tire a chance to make it right and Jacob simply could not be bothered to help. I've used United Tire a few times mainly for tire repair stuff and with decent results. I wanted to give them a shot troubleshooting a mechanical issue I was having with my work van since they are very close to my house. I knew there was suspension issues with the van, so when I dropped it off I told Jacob that I thought the van may need an alignment, but also to please thoroughly check the suspension for any and all problems He called me back AFTER they had performed the alignment ($150) and said that the van needed new tie rods, and then ANOTHER alignment once that was done; ($150 more) for a total of $800. I decided against having that work done because obviously they should've diagnosed the tie rod issue before they did the first alignment! The final amount I paid United Tire over $250: $150 for the alignment, a $98 "suspension inspection", and $11 to "tighten the tie rods". Here's the worst part of my review: the van actually now drives WORSE than when I dropped it off in the first place! I needed to make a 700 mile trip that weekend and I quickly discovered that the van was now shaking like it had been electrocuted! This totally made my journey much more dangerous as I was forced to drive through a severe snowstorm, and many times I almost went off the road the shaking was so bad. I was immensely disappointed with the service at United Tire, I had just given them over $250 and there was literally zero improvement with the suspension problems. I called Jacob to explain what happened and he immediately claimed it was my fault because I did not go through with their $800 repair. The terrible part is that I would've let them repair the van if Jacob hadn't tried to double charge me for an alignment, and then add over 100% markup price on the parts... Like I literally don't understand why some business feel the need to rake people over the coals on parts markups! Pro-Tip: Be fair with people, it will get you much further. He ended our call with an offer to give me half off the new alignment if I got the tie rods done there. What a pathetically sad deal that is... The bottom line is that these guys probably get away with this stuff all the time with people that don't know any better. My advice is to stay far away from this place or risk being ripped-off too. The only reason I didn't give them a 1 star is because our previous interactions with United Tire have been pretty good for the most part. Hopefully management reads this and realizes by treating people unfairly and misrepresenting the truth you actually end up losing out on loyal customers and the future money they would have spent with you. read more

Good clean business. I did not feel as though I was being ripped off or taken advantage of. Try to call before you go to get an idea of how long the service will take. For me any job that I have to do again somewhere else is a 1 star! I have a Civic, and had a flat. Never had the TPMS alert on prior ... 75$ had used tier placed, and was told it's same brand and quality! The min I drove off the TPMS went on! When I went back they told me to drive on the wheel for a month and it will disappear... well now I've been on the tire for almost 2 months and still can't get the TPMS to stop. when I stopped by again to ask what to do, they gave me a bunch of excuses, but for me what matters is if you don't know what you're doing, then DONT do it! went to the dealership who said the new tier is different than the rest, and the only way to turn off TPMS is to get a similar tier. read more

I called ahead of time to see if they had availability for me to come in for an oil change. The person on the phone said if I come at noon they could take me right away. I came about 10 min before noon, and the person at the counter quoted me 1 hour to 1.5 hours to finish (at Midas I usually wait 30-45 min when I call ahead). I waited 3 hours before the car was given back to me. They could have given me the courtesy to leave and come back (I've had a place do that before). I was going to leave 2 stars, but decided on 3 as the manager decided to waive the extra fee I was going to pay since my car takes a special oil that wasn't included in the groupon. That showed good faith which was nice. However, I won't be coming back as I value my time. read more
