I had a great experience at Discount Tire in Melrose Park. Super friendly and helpful staff who are not pushy. Easy to get an appointment and my tires were replaced quickly and with great communication. Prices were great and the fact that they will price match makes it even better. They stand by their service and have a great warranty. Shop is also clean and comfortable and within walking distance from so many places, it made the time go buy fast. I can't say anything bad about these guys and will be recommending this Discount Tire to everyone that I know! Thanks Ramiro and team! read more

I originally planned to visit the Discount Tire in Countryside, but my GPS rerouted me to the Melrose Park location--and honestly, it worked out perfectly. I didn't have an appointment, so the wait was about five hours, but I didn't mind at all. There are plenty of stores nearby, so I knocked out all my Thanksgiving shopping while my car was being taken care of. I ended up getting a great brand of tires, and for all four, I paid under $800. That's incredible considering other places quoted me well over $1,000 for the exact same set. My tires had definitely seen better days, so this price was a blessing. This shop isn't as chaotic or overcrowded as others I've visited, which I truly appreciate. The store is spotless, the staff is knowledgeable and honest, and--big bonus--the bathrooms are super clean. The whole place has a calm, organized vibe that makes you feel you're in good hands. Huge shoutout to Discount Tire Melrose Park. Ambiance? 100. Service? Even better. Highly recommended! Might I add, the front desk staff, the manager and all the techs are extremely professional and kind. I will defintely give this spit my rare 5 star! read more

Discount tire has been my go to for many years. Same quality tires you get anywhere else at a better price with top notch quality service. This Melrose Park location is an excellent choice. The service center person Chris was a huge help on the phone and when I drove in he knew exactly who I was and knew the tires I needed. They didn't have four of the tires I needed in stock but he knew what tires would work best for me. The service and knowledgeable employees there can't be beat. While you're waiting they have a nice reception area to relax in. As well, there's no end f restaurants and stores or malls to walk to in the neighborhood. It's Melrose Park after all, they have everything you need and if they don't they'll find it. read more

Never been to one of these chain stores. I decided to buy tires from them because they had what I wanted in stock. They also price matched Costco. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting a positive experience. I was completely wrong. They were totally awesome. Took me on time, got the tires put on quickly. Changed my wiper blades and were even able to change my bad tpms sensors. They were professional all the way through and did an excellent job. My preconceived notions were completely off base. I will be going back and I highly recommend going here. They were great. read more

I set up an online appointment to get my tires balanced and rotated which was a free service since I bought my tires from another Discount Tire location. It was pretty busy since it was a weekend, but I was able to get checked in. Eric was super helpful during the process! Unfortunately one of their technicians called out that day which is why everything was slightly delayed. However, they were able to get me in and out within an hour and 30 min! I liked how new this location looks and had a great experience! read more

Needed to replace a flat - placed the order online, the website checked the store stock and offered a bunch of appointments. Was checked in on time, service took less than the hour estimated. Not pushy when offering other services, they did a physical inspection on all tires with you present. Great value! They're not big branded tires but also didn't cost big brand prices. Literally paid the same for two tires as Costco quoted for one read more

Well I came to get my tire patched for free knowing full well they were gonna find a flaw & upsell me a tire. Sure enough after sitting here for awhile, that's exactly what happened. I was disgruntled but Robert was so awesome & understanding about my gripe that he made me a great value proposition that warrants my 5 star review & continued business with them when I'm in the area. Very clean & nice location as well. If the world had more people like Robert, we'd be much better off! read more

I always opt for the extended warranty from Discount Tire whenever I get new tires, and it has never let me down. Today, I visited the Melrose Park location with a slow leak in one of my tires. Vinny and the team quickly diagnosed the issue--a bad stem--and had it fixed within 10 minutes- and not a penny out of pocket. They wouldn't even let me buy them coffee! The customer service was exceptional, and the facility was spotless. If you're in the area and need tire service, this is definitely the place to go. read more

Went ti get a tire checked and the service tech wanted to commit to buying a tire before he even checking the tire, never got treated that way at a discount tire, feel bad for the company that might be hurt by employees trying to bully customers into buying tires before even looking into it read more

Went in for a tire repair. Was able to easily make the appointment online that worked for me and they were very polite and professional. They asked me if I would be staying with the car, but I opted to leave. They communicated via text and completed the tire repair within a 1/2 hour. As a bonus they didn't charge me! Made my day after the day I was having. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. read more

I have been a long time Discount Tire customer across multiple states. The team at the Melrose location truly stands out. I was first helped by Erik, the service was outstanding, when I returned the following season for service I worked with Kayley who was truly exceptional. When I visited for the third time I was met by Vinny, also with impeccable service. 3 for 3, wow! . I am so pleased to have received such a consistently high level of service. Thank you! read more

My experience at this location was really great! Alan V was really helpful and made sure our tire was ordered the next day and that everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Everyone was so easy going, helpful, and friendly! It's hard to find good customer service nowadays so this was a really nice reminder that it still exists. Thank you to Alan and the rest of the team for your professionalism, help, and kindness. It really goes a long way. I will definitely be back to this location again! read more

Super satisfied with the service here! One of the only tire shops I trust nowadays. I will definitely be back!

Went for tire balance , Phil was great help, very knowledgeable and kept me updated every step of the way .

I'm a loyal Discount Tire customer, so today caught me off guard. I had a tire rotation appointment scheduled for 12:30pm. I arrived just after 12:30 and I waited in line with another customer for 10 minutes until an employee came up to the store front. When it's my turn, I spoke to Vinny. I'm not greeted by Vinny, and Vinny tells me that my appointment had been canceled by the computer system because it's been "more than 15 minutes" from my scheduled appointment time. Vinny told me this at 12:41pm, only being 11 minutes after my appointment time. Vinny tells me (without apology) that I can be taken as a walk-in even though I had made an appointment and doesn't offer any other solution. This puts me in a queue with 7 other customers ahead of me. Vinny's coworker stepped in and offered to reschedule my appointment because I didn't have the time to be seen. There was a lack of professionalism and friendliness with Vinny. I've never experienced something like this in the 7 years that I've been a customer with Discount Tire. read more
