I went to Art tire before about 4-5 years ago and did not have any issues so I decided to go back again, silly me. I arrived to buy a used tire due to 1 of our tires having a bubble in it. $70 for a used tire, while getting tires serviced a older worker was inside making unsavory comments about African Americans moving into the neighborhood. I wish I would have cancelled my service right then and there but they were already in the process of changing my tire. I Paid my money and left. Service was finished at 6:30pm by 8pm the tire I just purchased was flat and the business was closed. Went by the next day and was told they don't usually replace tires because they are sold as is (basically you can go 1 block and your tire goes flat you're out of $70) but the decided to replace it for me. A few hours later (due to having to find a tire my size) they replaced the tire. I didn't check the tire they put on while in shop but I checked it immediately once I left the shop. They gave me a tire with a bubble in it..... not as big as the bubble my first tire had. I basically donated $70 to this business to be right back where I started. I do not recommend read more

Needed a new tire, this plan is the closest to me that could get it done in a day. The tire was a little more than, I have parked d in the past, but I'll pay a little extra to get it done same day. Guys were super cool. They are cash only, but they put the new tire on the rim while I went to an ATM. They had me out minutes after my return. Went up there to get a patch for a nail which came out to $25 with a tip. Fine, except that my tire went flat three days later. I went back up there and they "found" a new nail that they missed in the first repair. Came out to another $25. Sketchy, but fine. Now my tire is flat again. I have visited Art Tires on two occasions and both times, they were efficient, fair and pleasant. Ironically, I had a nail in my front passenger tire AND rear driver tire (two separate incidents). I pulled in and they patched my tires in approximately 5 minutes. It's been 4 months since the 1st incident and I haven't had any issues with tire pressure. The second incident just occurred and all is well. These guys are hardworking and I truly appreciate having them in the community. Sidenote: I went to Firestone for one of the incidents and they told me I would need a brand new tire. Clearly, they were trying to get over. If you have any tire issues, give ART a whirl! read more

Took my minivan for a tire that can't hold air and Show me two holes and then charges me 20 dollars for the repair and Wake up at 11pm to do uber and see my tire looks low and went check the air on it only 12psi of air and took out my air pump to put air on it to drive it to a 24hr tire shop and they found the hole on it and the tire guy shows me the inside of the tire and Art's tire shop didn't put any plug or patch on my tire just charged me 20bucks for nothing being done to my tire. read more

I rolled into the tire shop last Thursday around 2pm, and I had just hit a curb and busted my tire up the street from the tire shop. This shop charged me $70 for a used tire, and they don't take cash. The employee asked me to leave my phone while I go and get cash. I said no and left my ID and $10 I had on me while I left and went to the bank. I asked the employee why so much for a used tired, and he said it was the owners policy. The gentleman who helped me explained why he wasn't able to patch/plug it, gave me a fair price on a used one in good condition, and was willing to take a look at my spare to make sure it was in decent condition. I would give a zero stars if possible. I was there on Sunday 8-13-17. I needed 4 wheels to be broken down and sperated from the tires and this was the only tire shop open at the time. I called to double check the time they closed and Sergio was the man who answered. I asked him how much he would charge just to break the wheels down and remove the tires. He said $5 each. I get to the shop and Sergio tells me the price will be higher because I never told him what size the tires were and that they were low profile. They are 18 inch wheels and he never asked on the phone what size or if they are low profile or anything, He just said $5 to remove the tires. After a couple min of debate he agreed to honor the price he gave me over the phone. After that, he had his worker Tony begin to break down the rims and he ended up ripping the inside of one of the tires. He said he accidentally ripped the inside of the tire. Ok that's fine, accidents happen but when he went over to tell Sergio whom I presume is the owner he completely brushed it off and said it was fine to use without even looking at the damage. WHAT?! Who does that? Sergio told Tony it's fine don't worry about it, it can still be used. I told him that's unacceptable and that he needs to either fix it or replace it. Sergio refused and said he's been removing tires for a long time and that he knows what he is doing. I told him I believe him when he said he knows how to do it but he didn't do it, it was Tony. Sergio then had the nerve to tell me to pay him the $20 I owe him and leave. That definitely set me off. I told him I'm not paying for them to rip my tire and that he is responsible for a replacement or to fix it. He kept saying he wasn't going to do anything because the tire was still usable. After another 10 min of arguing he finally agreed to replace it but that he wanted me out of the shop. I told him I want it in writing that he will replace the tire if it is not usable. He sends Tony to write down the info of the tire (size, make and model) after Tony writes it down, I ask to see the note and he has the nerve to call me a "mothafucking asshole" under his breath." At that point I had had enough of the scammers and told him if there is something he needs to say he should say it like a man to my face and not under his breath. Sergio had to tell him to "shut up". So not only did you just rip my tire, you have the nerve to insult me under your breath? THESE PEOPLE ARE LOOKING TO SCAM YOU AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! read more

This was always my go to place to fix a flat tire. But my last visit, told the guy what my problem was, he said no, came back out saying "yea, it was that." Guess he didn't fix it but still charge me $15, cause that same tire pressure fell when I checked this morning. Also, he was NOT careful to not damage the wheel itself, I see chip marks on the inside edges of the wheel.
