Cost was $20 for a patch and cash only. I recommend Art's to anyone who wants new tires or just patch up old tire. Plenty of street parking, read more

This is the best business in Bridgeport and is usually open when you need help the most. Excellent work done, friendly environment and very little waiting time. I recommend Art Tires Inc. for anyone, anywhere in the Chicago metropolitan area who has a flat tire or needs another related service to go to there. You will not be regret it. Customer experience, 5 stars. However, I do feel like the service is a bit pricey. Maybe because I'm used to the per Price living in Texas, versus Chicago. However the staff is very friendly and efficient! read more

Everytime I've had to come here they delivered flawlessly with very little downtime & extremely professional service

Needed a new tire, this plan is the closest to me that could get it done in a day. The tire was a little more than, I have parked d in the past, but I'll pay a little extra to get it done same day. Guys were super cool. They are cash only, but they put the new tire on the rim while I went to an ATM. They had me out minutes after my return. If I brought cash, I probably wouldn't have been there for more than 10 min. read more

I went to Art tire before about 4-5 years ago and did not have any issues so I decided to go back again, silly me. I arrived to buy a used tire due to 1 of our tires having a bubble in it. $70 for a used tire, while getting tires serviced a older worker was inside making unsavory comments about African Americans moving into the neighborhood. I wish I would have cancelled my service right then and there but they were already in the process of changing my tire. I Paid my money and left. Service was finished at 6:30pm by 8pm the tire I just purchased was flat and the business was closed. Went by the next day and was told they don't usually replace tires because they are sold as is (basically you can go 1 block and your tire goes flat you're out of $70) but the decided to replace it for me. A few hours later (due to having to find a tire my size) they replaced the tire. I didn't check the tire they put on while in shop but I checked it immediately once I left the shop. They gave me a tire with a bubble in it..... not as big as the bubble my first tire had. I basically donated $70 to this business to be right back where I started. I do not recommend read more

I hit a large screw and my tire went flat quick. Luckily I was in the area and found this place. The service people were very nice and respectful and handled my situation quickly. I ended up having to buy a used tire but I feel that the price and service was very fair. read more

Love that this place is still in business and from my understanding, is still family owned. I will continue to support this local business as they have always done a stellar job with patching my tires. I started going to them with a mini cooper almost 10 years ago and now recently, they patched up my suv tires that had a piece of metal in it. Quick service and courteous people working here, even on the coldest of days. read more

Went up there to get a patch for a nail which came out to $25 with a tip. Fine, except that my tire went flat three days later. I went back up there and they "found" a new nail that they missed in the first repair. Came out to another $25. Sketchy, but fine. Now my tire is flat again. Either this place is running some sort of scam or they are no good at their job. Please be aware of this place. read more

I have visited Art Tires on two occasions and both times, they were efficient, fair and pleasant. Ironically, I had a nail in my front passenger tire AND rear driver tire (two separate incidents). I pulled in and they patched my tires in approximately 5 minutes. It's been 4 months since the 1st incident and I haven't had any issues with tire pressure. The second incident just occurred and all is well. These guys are hardworking and I truly appreciate having them in the community. Sidenote: I went to Firestone for one of the incidents and they told me I would need a brand new tire. Clearly, they were trying to get over. If you have any tire issues, give ART a whirl! read more

Swapping and balancing 4 tires was $60 (cash only) and took maybe 15 minutes from pulling in to driving away. No appointment made or was necessary. They're courteous, reliable, reasonably-priced and incredibly quick! This is the apex of tire shops, people! read more

I rolled into the tire shop last Thursday around 2pm, and I had just hit a curb and busted my tire up the street from the tire shop. This shop charged me $70 for a used tire, and they don't take cash. The employee asked me to leave my phone while I go and get cash. I said no and left my ID and $10 I had on me while I left and went to the bank. I asked the employee why so much for a used tired, and he said it was the owners policy. I then asked how much for a used tire, and he said about $150. I have a small Fiat. If you are in a emergency situation try not to end up here, because a used tire will be outrageous! read more

$25 for tire rotation and $15 for flat tire. Fairly priced and fast. No parking so just wait on the side. Good job guys!

This place has saved the day more than once for me when I've had a flat tire from a nail or a nasty gremlin. In and out in 5-10 minutes to find the culprit, patch it up, put back on the car, part, and I'm out. I believe it was $10 to fix each time. Small place, but quick service. read more

Had a leak in my tire and a friend swore this was the place to get it fixed. Arrived at 9:45am, was out by 10:05am with a new tire. The gentleman who helped me explained why he wasn't able to patch/plug it, gave me a fair price on a used one in good condition, and was willing to take a look at my spare to make sure it was in decent condition. I would give a zero stars if possible. I was there on Sunday 8-13-17. I needed 4 wheels to be broken down and sperated from the tires and this was the only tire shop open at the time. I called to double check the time they closed and Sergio was the man who answered. I asked him how much he would charge just to break the wheels down and remove the tires. He said $5 each. I get to the shop and Sergio tells me the price will be higher because I never told him what size the tires were and that they were low profile. They are 18 inch wheels and he never asked on the phone what size or if they are low profile or anything, He just said $5 to remove the tires. After a couple min of debate he agreed to honor the price he gave me over the phone. After that, he had his worker Tony begin to break down the rims and he ended up ripping the inside of one of the tires. He said he accidentally ripped the inside of the tire. Ok that's fine, accidents happen but when he went over to tell Sergio whom I presume is the owner he completely brushed it off and said it was fine to use without even looking at the damage. WHAT?! Who does that? Sergio told Tony it's fine don't worry about it, it can still be used. I told him that's unacceptable and that he needs to either fix it or replace it. Sergio refused and said he's been removing tires for a long time and that he knows what he is doing. I told him I believe him when he said he knows how to do it but he didn't do it, it was Tony. Sergio then had the nerve to tell me to pay him the $20 I owe him and leave. That definitely set me off. I told him I'm not paying for them to rip my tire and that he is responsible for a replacement or to fix it. He kept saying he wasn't going to do anything because the tire was still usable. After another 10 min of arguing he finally agreed to replace it but that he wanted me out of the shop. I told him I want it in writing that he will replace the tire if it is not usable. He sends Tony to write down the info of the tire (size, make and model) after Tony writes it down, I ask to see the note and he has the nerve to call me a "mothafucking asshole" under his breath." At that point I had had enough of the scammers and told him if there is something he needs to say he should say it like a man to my face and not under his breath. Sergio had to tell him to "shut up". So not only did you just rip my tire, you have the nerve to insult me under your breath? THESE PEOPLE ARE LOOKING TO SCAM YOU AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! read more

I own several custom cars and several daily drivers. I collect, buy and sell vintage wheels and tires as well. Arts is my go-to place. They may not have the fancy equipment, or a waiting room... but they take good care of their customers at a fair price. Sergio and team have put bias ply tires on rare 1953 Skylark wire wheels, mounted and unmounted Drag Racing Slicks on vintage chrome reverse wheels, put on massive 35" off-road tires and countless other weirdo combinations for me. He's also helped me out with countless flats, leaky valves and botched patch/plugs (thanks firestone). Go to Arts. Tell him I sent you. read more

Blew out my tire on the Dan Ryan. My tow truck driver took me here. Excellent quick service. Please note: cash only!

This was always my go to place to fix a flat tire. But my last visit, told the guy what my problem was, he said no, came back out saying "yea, it was that." Guess he didn't fix it but still charge me $15, cause that same tire pressure fell when I checked this morning. Also, he was NOT careful to not damage the wheel itself, I see chip marks on the inside edges of the wheel. Definitely not from curb rash. ‍‍‍ Update: went to a different shop, and see photo read more
