My husband is a golf enthusiast, & we just bought a house in the area. I came with him a few weeks ago because he was looking for a divot tool, and a couple of other things. He was super excited to check it out here. Customer service was seriously lacking. My husband had a question, & there was a guy in the back who completely ignored my husband as he greeted him, & was about to ask him a question. He heard us, because he looked our way, & turned right around. Thankfully, we found another employee who was super nice. He's the Only reason they're getting 2 stars. He ended up getting what he needed, but we didn't shop further, & we won't be back. I worked in customer service for the Longest time, I was shocked by the lack of education of this employee. This is No way to treat people. We'll be giving another establishment our money, & we were ready to drop a lot as I'm getting into golf myself. They need to retrain their employees. read more

came in to do a quick trade in. The customer service was not the best i felt like they didn't want to help. Then one of the older gentleman was pretty rude. Didn't have the best experience. I've been to the one off Tyler as well and that one has way better costumer service it feels welcoming everyone is super nice. I recommend that one (Tyler) over this one. read more

My go to local golf shop for the past 10 years. Very kind and helpful staff. Always feel welcome when I visit. Lots of golf items. Priced correctly and can't beat the 90 day guarantee. Manny, Jeff and especially James Campbell are the best. James helped me decide between a hybrid or 7wood. read more

Love this place. The have all your golfing needs including some nice apparel. I highly recommend shopping here.

I have purchasing a lot of clubs over the years from Many, James, and Frank, they always take great care of me and all of my needs ! if they don't have it they will get it! I recommend this Roger dunn to all of my friends and family! customer for life! read more

Went in for an iron fitting. The young gentleman with the glasses didn't seem interested in actually helping find what's best for my swing nor giving me any advise or recommendations to find the best fit for me. Ask him if shaft weight mattered he told me no, asked him what trajectory shaft I should get and he responded the stiffness if the only thing that matters, didn't set up the system to see which iron I was more consistent with. After 15mins, taking maybe 20 swings with 3 different irons he asked me if I wanted to place an order, I felt discouraged because I didn't feel it was an actual fitting since he didn't seem like he cared. Will not be back. read more

I want to say this Roger Dunn location may have upgraded their facilities? I don't recall this store being this big nonetheless, this is absolutely a plus for them. I came in wanting to upgrade my irons and was looking into getting TaylorMade stealth. I was greeted by a young associate by the name of Michael. He was more than happy to share his knowledge. They have 2 bays it's not as big and some of their other stores but its sufficient for the area. Everyone was courteous as to not hog a bay, we all know that guy. Anywho... Shout out to Michael again for the great customer service! read more

Customer service is very sub par. Only one guy that works there that will actually offer help and i wish i knew his name, everyone else just walks by with there heads down. great golf store love the roger dunn brand and have actually been shopping at this store for years but man has it gone down hill. if you come in with questions or anything that makes them do any extra work they are not happy about it. would recommend going to the riverside store those guys are fantastic read more

A very good golf shop. See Greg for a club fitting! They carry all the major brands and most of the time you can walk out with your clubs.

Great experience. Normally go to Golf Galaxy or Dicks. Never going back to either one of those stores. Frank helped me and did an amazing job. I have been in the retail business for 30 years. I'm actually a Sales Manager at a Car Dealership. Hopefully the management appreciate Frank because he is a rare commodity in retail sales. Frank just earned you a customer for life! Much appreciated Frank! read more

I needed to have the lies on my irons checked, and the golf shop where I normally have this service done was a casualty of the pandemic. So my remaining options around the IE are Golf Galaxy and Roger Dunn. Because I have had work done before at Roger Dunn, both in Santa Ana and in Rancho Cucamonga, I went to Roger Dunn. I'm an unusual case, needing to have my clubs bent to 3 degrees flat from standard, but they had no trouble doing it. It wasn't a rush job, so it took about five days for them to complete. read more

Worst customer service everyone has an attitude. When you try to ask for help they act like your bugging them never go here I would rather over pay at golf galaxy STAY AWAY read more

Whoever was working the front desk today was super nice. I purchased some used callaway irons and I'm excited to try them out. Got them at about half off the new purchase price. The only criticism I have was I wasn't aware of any sales associates on the floor. Maybe I came in the middle of a shift change, but luckily the cashier was able to help me with my purchase! Hope you guys can get some more staff because there's a lot of great deals here. read more

I shop here all the time. Maybe too much (hahaha). This time I went here to double check the lie angle on my irons. Greg ended up helping me for over an hour, trying every club head and shaft combo we could think of. Ended up with amazing numbers from a Tylor Made P790 with custom shafts. I wasn't even looking for a Taylor Made product, but couldn't be happier. The guys at this shop are great and always willing to help. Manny can be a little grouchy but is usually helpful as well. James is awesome and is always super helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this shop! Thanks Rancho Roger Dunn! read more

What great service! I was super impressed with the level of service and attention that Frank provided me while fitting me for my new ping set. He took his time fitting me properly for my new set, gave me tips on how to improve my swing, and made recommendations on what would work best. Prices and equipment are competitive like all other gold stores, but the service here takes it over the top! read more

Amazing experience, was looking to get some clothing for a company event and thy had everything I needed. The associates all greeted my wife and I as we walked in. Everyone was more than wanting to helpful. I asked about a driver and they pointed them right out to me with offers of a fitting when I am ready. During my check out Frank was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions I had. I cannot wait to go back and get my driver and other needed equipment!! Thank you all for the wonderful shopping experience!! read more

I have gone to other Rodger Dunn Golf shops, but I was impressed with the personal service I received from the staff here. Upon determining that the Upland location did not have my club, staff employee, Jackie offered to call other locations in order to find my club. In two days hence, he located a new club and had it shipped to the store. That's what I call excellent "customer Sevice". read more

Terrible experience at Golf Galaxy yesterday in which they refused to allow me to use their launch monitor before spending over $500 on a driver. Went to Roger Dunn today, compared a couple of drivers on their launch monitor and made the purchase. Very helpful staff. In and out so easily. I'll just drive the extra few miles and go to Dunn from now on. read more

Great staff, great selection. Excellent golf shop!. Purchased new Footjoy shoes out of a good selection and ready for another round.

I started playing golf in 2014. I started shopping at Roger Dunn's in Rancho since. Let me start with Manny he's always accommodating and always looking out for the customer and very fair. The assistant manager Matt is honestly a resemblance of Manny and they are both running the store in the same page. Adam is my main guy. He's the best club maker in town and knows exactly what he is doing. He understands what you want and fits you to what you want. I moved to Oxnard for 3 years and i always drove to Rancho to buy my golf stuff. These guys just deserve my business. Love coming here and i will continue to shop here. Thank you Manny, Matt and Adam and the rest of the Rancho Roger Dunn's team! read more

Roger Dunn Golf Shops - Golf Equipment Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

Absolutely terrible service, won't be returning to this store. From the manager Manny being condescending and practically accusing me of trying to scam them and steal a shaft, to the shop workers loudly talking about how terrible the customers' swings are that they've seen, this store isn't people friendly and doesn't deserve your business. I went in to get fit for a driver shaft, explaining to a worker that I was recently gifted a driver but wanted to find the right shaft as the one I got wasn't stiff enough. Never once did I insinuate that I got the driver from Roger Dunn because I honestly had no clue where my fiancé bought it from. That said, the worker offered to swap out my shaft for another one, free of charge, with no questions asked. I asked him if he was sure, and he assured me it was no issue. However, when we went to the register the manager rudely questioned me asking me if I bought the driver there and I tried to explain my situation but he was insistent on looking up MY number and information instead of my fiancé's... the person who actually bought the club. I mentioned this multiple times but he continued to ignore me. Upon looking me up in the system, he said I'd never bought anything from Roger Dunn before, which is a lie because I bought irons at the Santa Ana location (which I still have the physical receipt for) just two years prior. In the most condescending tone I've heard, he then said, "Well, if you would have spent a ton of money here, I would have done this for you no problem, but you haven't even spent anything. You probably shop at (Golf) Galaxy or online," essentially calling me a liar to my face. After a couple more comments about me not spending enough money at his store, he then attempted to save face and offered to give me store credit for my driver but I'd have to pay the difference for the shaft swap (mind you, the same exact shaft in a different flex), a $70 difference. I kindly denied the offer because I was under the impression that the swap would be free as mentioned by the worker. After doing so, I went back to hit MY driver and shaft, which they tagged, in the hitting bay for a couple more minutes. Upon leaving, he made a scene about "checking the driver" to "make sure" it was mine, even asking another worker to check the shaft just in case. Again, it wasn't what he did, but how he did it. He was rude and made it obvious that he thought I was attempting to steal a shaft. I've been to plenty of golf stores before, hitting my clubs and theirs, and have never felt so disrespected and profiled. I will not be returning to this store and think that Manny was completely unprofessional and out of line. This is likely why people talk their business to "Galaxy" or elsewhere. read more

Great customer service!! Friendly and relax atmosphere. Best place to buy golf clubs, because they are knowledgeable on what your needs are for the game of golf. Next time, I'll go to a golf store, like Roger Dunn Golf Shop. read more

Super friendly service from everyone; Adam was very informative and more than willing to help. Spent a lot of time to ensure satisfaction.

I came in to get an old club re-griped. I was greeted by Manny when I arrived and he pointed me where the grips were. When I get to the counter another young guy started helping me and then Manny told him to go to the back and check on a price. I dint know where Manny went but came back from the back with my putter re-griped and the shaft in one hand and the putter head in his other hand. He said that the shaft was lose and when he was gripping the club it all came lose. When I walked in there my club was fine. After looking at these reviews for this business. I regret coming here. As you can see Manny doesn't have the best reviews here. His answer to him fixing my club was to leave it over night and pick it up tomorrow. I paid for my new grip on the club and got free clear tape that he put on the club to hold t together. Please be aware if you take any of your clubs her to get worked on. To me this is shady business if you ask me. read more
