We've been going to Roe-Zee's for years to get their beef fajitas. They are a favorite for all of our big events. The staff and service there is great and they are always friendly and helpful. We also like the large selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They have some fun drinks that we haven't seen anywhere else. read more

The carne asada is the best in town. We bought the beef and chicken fajitas for a family gathering and everyone was very satisfied. Some relatives now drive here from Eagle Rock to buy their asada. The teriyaki is good too... was also a hit. Can't beat the customer service. Every single employee is courteous and friendly. I feel like my business is appreciated here and will keep coming back. Amazing market especially if you want to try their meats. Anything you get from here is amazing and dont even get me started on how awesome the staff is. Basel and Luis are so nice and amazing I absolutely recommend this place. The selection of liquor is also great and the store is pretty big with a lot of inventory. Best Carne asada? If there was a Vallarta nearby I highly doubt that. I dinged it a star because, I do buy there asada here. I only buy it bc there is no Vallarta nearby. But also, although it does look like thick meat, bc it's so fatty, it'll shrink, like bacon. However their pin wheels are good. The ppl working there are awesome though. read more

Google tends to filter my reviews so I'll do one here as well. I purchase meat here. After years of driving past what I thought was a liquor store a neighbor informed me they have a deli here as well. A negative encounter with supervisor Maria over at Vons Tujunga forced me to try other locations to purchase groceries. This is one of the places that I've moved my shopping to. Never had a problem with customer service, and never had a problem with any of the meats that I've purchased. In fact the clients I prep meals for have given it all high praises. read more

My neighbors favorite store. She wins money here, cashes checks here, purchases meats from the deli, and genuinely considers these people friends. I giggle inside whenever she starts talking about her friends at roe-zee. I personally have not been here since the homeless man who would be parked in their lot passed away. Never knew his name, but for the past 15 years or so he, and even his dog were neighborhood staples. I remember two years or so ago when he told me his dog had passed. His dog who knew how to obey crosswalk lights. Now he too has moved on to greener pastures. The only thing guaranteed in life is death. I'm thankful for how respectful and accommodating roe-zee market seemed to be to that man and his dog. read more

Fresh and delicious meet for days! I've been buying meat from this place for BBQs for about 15 years now and the quality is always tops. Only recently discovered their dark meat chicken and holy smokes! So much flavor and so juicy. I cook on a charcoal BBQ and their meat just sings on it. This is an absolute hidden gem of Sunland/Tujunga. Great carne asada, the pin wheel marination is just incredible, chicken is fresh and juicy, fresh fajita mix, the list goes on, they have a huge selection. This market besides being a typical liquor store, has. a meat market that sells the best carne asada in the world. It is pre marinated and can go directly on the grill. They also sell marinated teriyaki pin wheels steak that is restaurant quality. I would highly recommend getting these items to throw on the BBQ for a great family get together. read more

The two homies named Ed! This place has the best quality of carne asada for BBQ in all of LA. Don't waste your time standing in a one of those places that your cousin or friend recommend in LA and be fooled when you get ur meat and it has a bunch of fat on it. And definitely don't waste your time at that stupid Vallarta markets either- that quality is shit. This is the only place where you get friendly service, top quality meats and they always hook up salsa on the house (depending on how much you spend, don't be expecting salsa spending $20-) Overall- you can't be this quality, no matter how much sunny-D the other places add- read more

The five stars if for the carne asada - so good. This is one of the local spots, where it looks like just another shady liquor store from the outside. But inside they have a meat section, where you can get pre marinated carne to throw right on the bbq and eat. I haven't tried anything else there yet. read more

Beware! I have used my debit card in here twice and each time after about a week of using it here my account has charges at a few gas stations in the Los Angeles area. Twice with the same type of fraud is enough for me. This place is shady and someone there is stealing from their customers. The parking lot is pretty shady also with people hanging out in their vehicles for long periods of time (probably selling drugs). Typical neighborhood corner store but it does have a somewhat decent meat selection (the meat is pretty good and the prices are not too out of line). Cigarettes are somewhat reasonable in price, depending on your brand you might be able to get a slightly better deal at one of the many other cigarette vending establishments in Sunland/Tujunga. read more
