Aria's marinated meats are excellent, particularly the spicy chicken and the bone-in pork. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I visited the Burbank location, unaware that there is a Glendale one (closer to me).

This place is so amazing! We were already buying our meat from their other locations but this one does the catering side of things. The rice is so soft and fluffy. The meats so yummy and tender! We've decided to order once a week, especially when we're busy during the work week. They even sell some yogurt and sides as well. Very clean location. Very friendly staff. Excellent quality for a quality price. Most definitely recommend! I am confident enough to say how much I love to grill. Like I LOVE it. I have grilled quite a bit in my day, and I can confidently say that Aria does it quite nicely. Their spicy chicken breast is where its at. Not only is the marinade unique and oh so delicious, but the quality of the chicken itself is outstanding. It just melts in your mouth. Their beef filet is also very good. Without any doubt, this will be my go-to meat market around the area. None can compare!

I didn't know their beef koobideh is a mixture of beef and pork. Nothing was mentioned until I was about to pay, and the lady said, "Oh, it's mixed with beef and pork." WTF? Authentic Armenian butcher shop for marinated meats. My go to for a quick kabob BBQ day without the need to prep and marinate the meats. Must try their beef luleh and spicy chicken breast. True GOATS in the Armenian Kabob game right now! Spicy chicken breast, Luleh kabob, and pork ribs are TOP TIER. (The real holy trinity) Unmatched flavor. That's all I gotta say. Sometimes there's a line out the door cause the meat is so DARN GOOD. I remember I had a friend invite me to his home around October of 24', and while visiting he asked me if I have had their spicy chicken breast. Immediate answer was nope, what is it? He looked at me like I was living under a rock. Let me tell you all it is the best chicken for grilling I have ever had! Spicy chicken breast is the BEST. The Luleh is perfection as well. And can't leave the pork ribs out either. Super flavorful, not overly seasoned either; just right. I'm talking about it's all SUPER BOMB. Mixed with the flaming smoke of either mesquite or oak charcoal this will have you salivating every time it's BBQ season. For us Armenians, it's BBQ season 24/7 365! Also while we are on the topic of BBQ. I mean the kind you skewer through a spit, sheesh, or SEEKH (whatever you call it)and flip every other minute on a mangal. Had to use all the terms of the skewer since there are many other renditions people utilize. Also mangal is a charcoal grill shaped like a rectangle to grill ANYTHING you can eat. If you don't have a skewer, charcoal, or a grill yes you can find them here for SALE! Small meat market with all the goods like yogurt, beans, some salads to go but the real gem here are the meats. Love their meats. Always fresh. Sometimes they run out of what I want by the end of they day when I get there because it's so good. You can but it and either grill, pan fry, air fry, or oven bake the meats. I buy it once a week and make enough to send to school foods lunch. read more

Best marinated chicken! I always get a mix of spicy (which is their most popular marinated meat) and non-spicy. The meat is absolutely delicious and juicy when cooked on the grill and paired with some garlic paste. Every time my family throws a BBQ party, picking up some meat from Aria is always a must! We have been getting meat from Aria for a long time. Recently during the weekend we had Aria chicken and everyone who ate the chicken got food poisoning . From kids to adults. Out of 13 people 8 of us got bad food poisoning. A friend also told me the same thing happened to them recently. Be careful moving forward. We definitely won't buy from them again. read more

Absolutely love this place! I've always had a pleasant experience but especially this time it was over the top. I walked in and was greeted by the two ladies working and a man. They were all very helpful trying to get me the right meat. I had to get their aria chicken of course because that is a must at their meat market. The chicken can be used in so many different ways. You can bbq, bake it and then use leftover for a bowl or a burrito. So many options. They also have delicious dips, drinks and bread you can buy and coal for the bbq. They also opened up a new(ish) spot on alameda and Glenoaks where they sell the cooked stuff not the raw meat. The place smelled so delicious when I walked in but it's good to know they don't have the raw meat at the other location. It's always a go to. Highly recommend. read more

The best quality meat market in the business. Hands down there aria spicy chicken is my favorite. The chicken is so soft, and tasty it's delicious. I also really like there filet mignon. The best thing about the business is they offer cooking the mean for you if you can't cook it at home. For get togethers that makes my life so much easier so oftentimes I pick up the food ready made. Service is great it's very easy to place orders over the phone or in person. They also have few locations!! read more

Low quality meat. Butcher can't even cut the meat correctly. Took 30 minutes to skewer 2 lbs of meat. WTF. They put every tiny slice left over from cutting the meat, including strips of fat along with a ton of onions to add the the weight for more $$. Sad. Total rip-off. Greedy! read more

Came to pick up some marinated chicken and filet mignon here a few days ago. I've always meant to review this place but always forget to. If you like to cook Mediterranean kabobs, this place is a must! They have the most amazing marinated chicken and filet mignon! Prices are feasible and staff is friendly. They also have delicious sides such as Tzatziki, eggplant dip, and pickled vegetables (yumm, vinegar!) for $5 each. Highly recommend this place! read more

Honestly, my only regret is waiting this long. I ordered the Luka Sandwich, which is loaded with their 14-hour smoked pastrami brisket, cheddar, pickled cherry peppers, iceberg, and Papa's aioli on toasted sourdough. The pastrami itself is a work of art--smoky, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned perfectly without being a total salt bomb. The pickled cherry peppers give it this incredible, bright pop of heat that cuts right through the richness of the beef. It's a messy, beautiful monster of a sandwich. My wife went with the Surf 'n' Turf Bowl, which comes with their marinated "Crack Shrimp" and grilled angus beef over rice with a fresh shirazi salad. The beef was incredibly tender, but those crack shrimp stole the show--snappy, heavily seasoned, and completely addictive. You can clearly taste the quality of a high-end butcher shop in a casual, quick-service lunch. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the wait time and the seating is also pretty limited, so it's much better suited for a grab-and-go situation than a sit-down date night. That being said, the quality of the meat here blows standard sandwich joints completely out of the water. If you're in Burbank and want a lunch that actually feels high-quality and satisfying, do yourself a favor and drop in. I'm already eyeing the A5 Wagyu Cheesesteak for my next visit!

We got two turkey sandwiches... and ate them over two days they were so huge. Also bought a couple of their house made chicken sausages... and my husband gobbled them up in one sitting, and it's not because they were small -- they're HUGE!!! They also make take home dinners, have an incredibly curated selection of high quality meats (ie. Force of Nature) and snacks (ie. Simple Mills at super reasonable prices). The employee who helped me seemed inconvenienced by my request and responded by saying, "Well, you have to tell them," even though I had no idea sweetness levels were customizable. Her body language and tone made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable before she finally agreed to remake it. The replacement coffee was much better, but the interaction unfortunately took away from what could have been a great first impression. The bakery itself is clean, and the food has potential, but customer service is just as important as the product. Based on my overall experience, I don't see myself returning.

I've been to Handel's a handful of times, and there is usually a fairly busy line, but it moves pretty fast. They don't skimp on portions, nor is the presentation ever sloppy, no matter how busy they are. Considering the generous portions, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. Definitely less expensive than Cold Stone or Ben & Jerry's, and the quality is - dare I say - on par or even better?! Also, if you ever have to go to the urgent care off Pass Avenue, one silver lining is that Handel's is *literally* right next-door to the urgent care! If there's a long wait, take advantage of it, and pop next door for a scoop of ice cream or a banana split! Or if you have a child who needs some bribing or a post-appointment reward, Handel's can handle that for you! Parking is plentiful, but keep in mind that there is a Starbucks and a 24-hour Vons in the same parking lot, so certain times of day will be busier than others, and some people are bad at heeding the one-way arrows down most of the rows. If you go to Handel's soon and they still have Deep Dish Apple Pie on their menu, I highly recommend it!

The hint of wild rose and the very smooth matcha were so refreshing. I didn't think the combination of wild rose and matcha would be such a good choice, but they absolutely nailed it. It was super delicious. The Nutella croissant was crunchy and tasty. The store was clean, very organized, and the staff stayed on top of everything while being kind and helpful. I honestly don't even know where to start. Referring to this place as a BBQ restaurant is being kind calling it a working kitchen might be pushing it. First off, the smell: it's not that deep, smoky scent you'd expect from real barbecue, but more like damp wood chips and a sense of regret. The food seemed like it had given up long before it hit my plate dry, gray, and sliced with all the enthusiasm of someone who clearly hates meat. I asked if it was meant to be like this and got a shrug that somehow tasted worse than the food. The food? Picture gnawing on a leather belt that once attended a cookout back in 2003. No bark, no seasoning, just a faint hint of salt. The sauce came in a bottle so sticky it felt hazardous, and somehow it was both overly sweet and painfully bland. The sides didn't do any favors either. The sides had the consistency of soggy packing peanuts, and the salad tasted like it had been through some emotional trauma. Even the rice arguably the easiest thing to get right was dry enough to be used as a building material. The service was just as disappointing as the food: slow, indifferent, and a bit confusing. Our server vanished for long periods, only to come back without what we ordered, as if they were working from a completely different table's reality. By the end, I wasn't just let down I was actually impressed. It takes a special kind of dedication to consistently miss the mark on every single part of a BBQ experience. If you're in search of authentic barbecue, just keep driving. But if you're doing research on how things can go wrong, this could be your perfect case study. read more

I have been coming for several years already from Pasadena to Burbank to shop at your store (the best spicy chicken in town). Today (Sunday July 6th) I came at 2:45pm and the store was closed. On yelp you claim to be open till 5pm, your sign on the door claims the same. I'm hoping you took the day off because of the 4th of July holiday and nothing serious. Even though I'm giving you a 1 star because of the inconvenience, I still want to say that I'll still be a loyal customer, I'll still come back to shop. The only thing I ask is for you to pay a little more attention to the digital platform on updating you special business hours when necessary just like today, as you know nowadays we all are attached to receiving info digitally. read more
