Aria's marinated meats are excellent, particularly the spicy chicken and the bone-in pork. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I visited the Burbank location, unaware that there is a Glendale one (closer to me).

This place is so amazing! We were already buying our meat from their other locations but this one does the catering side of things. The rice is so soft and fluffy. The meats so yummy and tender! We've decided to order once a week, especially when we're busy during the work week. They even sell some yogurt and sides as well. Very clean location. Very friendly staff. We recommend to our family and friends all the time! The one I'm referring to is 321 E Alameda #P cross street Glenoaks. (818) 859-7388 Patrick is always super helpful!

Amazing costumer service and good quality . Their koobide is the best.Their hot wings and hot chicken is really good too.Our favorite place for bbq. Highly recommend. I wish they had a location in Granada hills as well.

Best premarinated chicken! Good, quick service. You won't be disappointed. I like the no spicy chicken breast but my family loves the spicy! Definitely recommend both!

Excellent quality for a quality price. Most definitely recommend! I am confident enough to say how much I love to grill. Like I LOVE it. I have grilled quite a bit in my day, and I can confidently say that Aria does it quite nicely. Their spicy chicken breast is where its at. Not only is the marinade unique and oh so delicious, but the quality of the chicken itself is outstanding. It just melts in your mouth. Their beef filet is also very good. Without any doubt, this will be my go-to meat market around the area. None can compare!

Love their spicy chicken. They also do a good job with their cooked items. There is much competition in the area but this guys are always busy. Keep up the good work!

Everything was extremely salty and hard to enjoy. The meat lacked flavor besides salt, and the overall quality was disappointing.

Best meat hands down. It is pricey but it is some of the best meat for a large or small gathering for a bbq.

Between a ciabatta loaf, it is different and non-traditional. It tastes fatty and hearty as Pastrami should be. It is evenly seasoned and paired with a modern twist; they call their pepper relish. Portioned as a single serving, it is not your deli-sized sandwich like it should be. Other sandwiches and savory items are equally creative and of good quality. There is no doubt that there is great-tasting food here, and you can notice the attention to detail. Unfortunately, you will spend a premium here. Feeling the pinch is as lacking as the need for a nice, fluffy Rye with a crispy crust.

While waiting, I could see through the transparent glass window as generous portions of high quality meat were being grilled over Royal Oak charcoal. The aroma alone was irresistible and I ended up ordering beef lule and marinated ribeye as well. My family and I were blown away by the flavor and quality of both. The portions are generous, and the flavors from the marinades and spices are rich and completely satisfying. The kabobs are juicy and can be served on rice or in wraps. Personally, I appreciated the option to purchase just the skewers to take home, since we prefer enjoying them hot over fresh rice with melted butter. The menu offers a wide variety of kabobs, including chicken, beef, pork, quail, and cornish hen. The market and restaurant are exceptionally clean; very impressive!! That said, I would recommend ordring to go, as seating is limited and the atmosphere is minimal. While waiting, I noticed many customers doing the same and also purchasing meats to take home and grill on their own. Theres also a small market section offering drinks, breads, homemade Armenian specialties, and condiments. Parking is convenent, and the location is on the corner of Western and Glenoaks (easy to access from both streets). Bravo to the owners for creating such a high quality restaurant and market. I hope it continues to maintain this standard! We are a fan and I can't imagine getting my kabobs anywhere else in LA.

It was founded in 1970 and upon entering,…read moreit certainly feels dated but there's something to be said about all the colorful and varied produce that's neatly displayed down its narrow aisles, almost like a Wes Anderson film. Imagine rows of radicchio, rainbow chard, exquisite endive, squash blossoms, sunchokes and artichokes, fennel with their fronds tangled in long red chilies surrounded by pungent herbs like perilla, lovage, tarragon. An extra star just for that. But... My only gripe is their weekly Saturday BBQ. Through the years I have enjoyed both kinds of ribs, the brisket, sausages, turkey and chicken that they cook and smoke right outside in the parking lot. Even if you don't see it, you'll smell it within a couple blocks. I can't think of a better way to promote a bbq business and Handy Market knows it. They're counting on all the new customers who get lured in by the intoxicating scent of grilled meats on live fire to try this sad, sorry excuse that they call BBQ. All the meats are dry, tasteless and overcooked. They do not season any of the meat, not even a lick of salt. They want you to buy their sugary bbq sauce and baste them on the grill. Meaning you still have to finish cooking it at home but it was tasty enough and the price was low so it was worth doing for many years. Lately though, it's been expensive and inedible. The quality of all the meat has become sus and I was sold the driest beef ribs with texture like leather, that they probably dug up from the back of a freezer and a smelly turkey leg that's left over from like, Thanksgiving. My homemade bbq sauce could not save either meat and suffice to say I will never order barbecue from here again. What's happened to you, Handy Mart? I just can't believe you've slipped so far. This is the worst bbq in all of LA and I cannot recommend anyone eating here. Those brave souls who do not heed this cautionary tale cannot say you haven't been warned. Good luck.
