It's the only sandwich she will order as a roast beef purist. She ordered the rare roast beef sandwich today at Gelsinger's and was impressed by the look of the sandwich and even more impressed with the first bite. Sadly she informed me that we no longer needed to go to Canters. That won't happen and I can enjoy both places. I ordered the roast beef dip and it was delicious. The onion rings were high quality with good flavor and crunchy. The place is very clean and inviting. The customer service was great and very friendly. My favorite hands down is the butter cheese which is packed in the refrigerated case, sliced and ready to go. That cheese with pumpernickel bread (which they also offer) is so comforting. There are multiple types of salami, with the German style being my favorite. I really enjoyed the imported caraway crackers which was a lighter alternative to the more solid breads. It's the type of place where you will always find delicious specialty snacks with each visit.

TODD is an outstanding manager who knows how to protect the store from thieves and makes me feel safe. Even the box boys are sweet and kind..
