JUST WOW! It's been a long time since I've been this…read moreimpressed with a company's product, service, and employees. Yes, our new granite counters are beautiful, but (the amazing) Lizette and her crew's service blew us away! Truly professional, they knew what they were talking about, no shortcuts, and they were punctual every day... no, really! We have a fairly large kitchen with lots of surface angles. In fact, it took four long days to complete (morning until night) Something was bound to go wrong and we were ready for it. It never ever happened. When they finished each work day, they cleaned and vacuumed the floor and cabinets, and took their trash with them. As you probably know, this is basically unheard of in today's service world. I cannot say enough good things about Mena Stone Surfaces. Their quality workmanship, attention to detail, and overall service were impressive and frankly "refreshing" to say the very least. Photos coming soon. By the way, I'm a real customer and not somebody's best friend or relative of the company. We discovered this company on Yelp.

Also needed to have some exterior painting and staining done. Searched online reviews and asked for quotes from four different contractors. The business which had the best website never contacted us after a few calls and emails. Another didn't come out to look at the damage, asked us to send a photo. That left us with two contractors who did respond and come out to give us an estimate, the total cost was consistent between both. One of those was TJ's Remodeling and Construction, which we chose to go with because they offered a three year warranty on their work, versus the other company's six month warranty. All the damaged parts of the old chimney were removed, new metal framing and lath installed, and new stucco applied. The same crew completed the exterior painting and staining in conjunction with the work on the chimney. Pressure washed all surfaces first, applied primer, then painted. It was an overall good experience, great communication, clear upfront pricing, timely appointment windows and work completion, and lastly good cleanup afterwards. TJ and his crew members were friendly at every stage, nice to work with a locally owned business which takes pride in what they do.

What? No reviews since 2011? I'll remedy that situation!…read more Ferguson Bath is the designated bath and kitchen supplier for our custom home builder. The showroom is humongous and has more options than anyone can imagine! We had an appointment with Christina. She led our designers and us through a vast array of faucets, bathroom fixtures, sinks, etc. over a 2-hour stay. Her knowledge base was rock solid. She did a great job of keeping us within our budget. She worked well with the design team to find products that would fit into our home. Several times, she came up with novel ideas or better options. My wife and I left confident and pleased with our choices. A couple of days later, we received an e-mail with a well organized PDF portfolio that showed all of our choices with photos, stock numbers, and prices. OVERALL: EXCELLENT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Although your showroom was beautiful, the lady at the front desk with the short strawberry blonde hair and the scowl on her face was the rudest person I have ever encountered and I cannot believe that you would have someone like that representing such a well known company with your reputation. Especially at the front desk greeting people. She was curt and just out right hateful. I knew I needed an appointment already, and I told her that, but I wanted to walk around to see what y'all had to offer and she was not nice about it, like I was inconveniencing her altogether. Such a shame. I ended up walking around for a minute because I was so mad at how she treated me and I left. I told my builder I will buy elsewhere. Really need to do a better job with her.

We were extremely pleased with our decision to use Legacy for our kitchen remodel!…read more After moving into our home eight years ago, we had a general idea on what we wanted to do with the redesign, but still needed help with completing our dream kitchen. The first step was Legacy sending out their design consultant, Ashley. She came out and spent enough time to not only take measurements, but also to fully understand how we use our kitchen and what style we were looking for. After a few consultations and a visit to their showroom for final specifications, she stayed involved throughout the project to ensure our satisfaction. Our project was a complete overhaul of our kitchen, and it took about eight weeks. One of their rules is that they don't start the job until ALL of the material has been received. Additionally, there were only 2-3 days that some work wasn't being performed. Their project supervisor was Augustine, who also was very diligent in overseeing the project. He would continuously stop by to monitor the progress as well as being accessible by phone/text during all times of the day, responding to questions and requests. The team was very attentive to minor adjustments due to construction 'discoveries' and ensuring that no shortcuts were taken. A special recognition to Cody, who we voted their MVP, as he is a very talented person who is skilled in most all of the trades. At the end of the project, there were only a few things on the punch-list. A couple of them were so minor that we felt a little silly in asking for the resolution, but they handled them without issue and made sure that we were 100% satisfied. While there are other companies out there that would quote a lower up-front price, we are quite certain that we would have been less than satisfied, and still probably had spent the same or more money in over-runs. We highly recommend Legacy for solid consideration for any of your remodeling projects!

During the quoting phase of our renovation project...I was initially hesitant to choose Legacy Bath…read more& Kitchen as they were the highest of 4 Bidders on our Master Bathroom project. However, after several discussions and e-mails with different Legacy personnel (including the Owner), I was convinced choosing Legacy was the right thing to do! And was I NOT disappointed...every aspect of dealing with the Legacy Team Members (Mark and his assistant Daniel) doing our bathroom renovation was a pleasure. Not only did Mark and Daniel's workmanship exceed our expectations, they were respectful of my home and family and the knowledge of their craft was top notch! They were honest, forthright, and a pleasure to deal with! The excellence in workmanship and quality of the Legacy personnel has been absolutely FIRST RATE! We had a problem with one of the Cabinets that was installed at the very end of the project (not done by our primary crew). Legacy immediately agreed the workmanship did not meet their expected standards and they are in the process of correcting the problem. I would definitely recommend Legacy to anyone planning a major bath or kitchen reno. Our Bath renovation involved several complex tasks which I would not trust to a General Contractor. They executed each task flawlessly. 1) Legacy needed to add a new 3" drain for the Jacuzzi tub which required cutting several feet out of the foundation which included tension cables. 2) the flooring tile involved laying them down at a 45 degree angle, with varying patterns. 3) the floor of the shower was a very complex mosaic pattern which had to be laid piece by piece and was done to perfection. It took the guys almost 1 hour/sq ft to lay. We will definitely use Legacy on our next renovation!

This isn't really a place I'd go to do any serious home repairs. Their selection of anything repair-like is fairly limited, instead their selections are more for an upgrade. I am working on connections to gas space heaters in my home, and needed a 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor for the line, which is typically used for plumbing applications- therefore I returned to this store. Upon walking in, I made eye contact with the associate who assisted me yesterday and began a conversation with him. I placed the heater down on the counter so that I could show him the threads needed for the bottom connection, and in the middle of the conversation between the associate and I, a bald-headed man loudly interjected, "hey bro we is that a space heater? We don't work on those this is a plumbing shop dude." To which I replied, "look man I just need a connection". The associate who had helped me previously corrected the presumptuous manager who made an incorrect assumption and automatically prejudged my situation without ever welcoming me to the shop, or asking how they could help me. I let the manager know that I was looking for a part, and that I felt he had been a little abrasive as he came in pretty hot towards the situation. He looked at the associate and said "sell him his shit and get him out of here." When I asked him if there was an issue, he said "I'll fucking clock out right now and we can go outside and handle the problem." Never have I been threatened with physical battery by a customer service employee before, but to add fuel to the fire, he aggressively pointed at the sign on the wall and said "I can fucking refuse service to anybody I want." His profane-laced and aggressive attitude towards customers is obviously a concern, and unless you want to be threatened with physical violence from unstable staff with no people skills, I'd suggest frequenting one of the many other plumbing supply shops in San Antonio.
