Sadly, I would avoid dealing with Ferguson in San Antonio at this time. They clearly have too much business and not enough staff to support it. If and when you can get an appointment with someone, the people are knowledgeable but obviously harried. Then things start falling through the cracks and orders are delayed, incomplete or wrong. They are quick to bill and slow to credit, even for their own mistakes. In my remodel, I bought plumbing and lighting fixtures for three bathrooms (two masters) and my kitchen, I had to cancel my cooktop order because they couldn't get it in for weeks. I found the same unit from another supplier for the same price and got it in three days. read more

This is going to be a mixed review. I was there for a recent bathroom remodel. I made an appt. Pros: Large showroom with fixtures from multiple manufacturers. Organized well with pieces that are mounted on acrylic blocks so that you can move them around the showroom to see how it coordinates with other pieces. The sales reps also have large catalogs for everything else. Cons: This might be specific to the rep that I had. She started with her saying that she couldn't wait until the end of the workday. Yes, we just sat down. I already selected most of my pieces before the appt, but I still needed to confirm those choices with a professional. Unfortunately, multiple items were entered in duplicate and the appropriate first-time customer discount wasn't applied even AFTER I specifically pointed it out. She even tried to convince me that it was by saying that it was "built into the prices". I was willing to pay more for professional services to make sure all pieces were purchased correctly. Instead I felt like I had to babysit the whole process which is exactly what I wanted to avoid. Returns were difficult. We had unexpected, necessary remodeling changes, so I had a few returns. The rep entered them in a strange way, so it took over 3 weeks to get it resolved. She stopped responding to my emails and it was only after my contractor called (male) that I got some traction. read more

Do not recommend. We walked in and the front receptionist was not welcoming. She had a scowl on her face upon us entering the establishment (we did enter at 450pm). We were not asked if we needed any assistance while there and when it was 5pm she came up to us and informed us that it was 5pm and they were now closed. We did have our kids with us and perhaps they are not kid friendly, regardless, she made sure to inform us of their hours and failed to tell all the other clients in the building. Please make sure you have proper etiquette prior to selling high end merchandise to your target demographic. Either train your staff properly or fire your front desk receptionist. Now, here comes the best part- wait till you see the totally useless installers. They have about as much experience as i do. They almost blew up my house installing the wrong type of gas fittings. What? No reviews since 2011? I'll remedy that situation! Ferguson Bath is the designated bath and kitchen supplier for our custom home builder. The showroom is humongous and has more options than anyone can imagine! We had an appointment with Christina. She led our designers and us through a vast array of faucets, bathroom fixtures, sinks, etc. over a 2-hour stay. Her knowledge base was rock solid. She did a great job of keeping us within our budget. She worked well with the design team to find products that would fit into our home. Several times, she came up with novel ideas or better options. My wife and I left confident and pleased with our choices. A couple of days later, we received an e-mail with a well organized PDF portfolio that showed all of our choices with photos, stock numbers, and prices. OVERALL: EXCELLENT. She said someone would be with me in a few minutes. I am so disappointed in this place!! We went in to buy an ice maker and a couple other items. We had to call back several times to place the order. I had to call and they said it just came in. Why didn't they call me? Because service is not part of their job description? I told the lady we wanted to remove the trash compactor and install an ice maker in the same spot next to the sink. They told me no problem and $95 to install. So I am thinking that would include installing the plumbing to make it work. Well it doesn't! Now I need a plumber and no one told me. I was also going to but a new bathroom sink and some faucets. The sales lady had such an attitude like I was bothering her. Stay away from this place!! I wish we would've gone somewhere else to but our ice maker. What a mistake to think I would get any type of service! If you expect Any customer service at all do not buy Ferguson products. First they couldn't get the order straight then after 2 weeks, finally got it ordered. Oops still wrong only got the stove top in. Wait 2 more weeks. They never return calls, and when you call, they are either with a customer or in a meeting. We'll have a manager call you!! I have been looking for a specific style faucet for a client. Their website showed a low cost option in the wrong color but visually it was the closest. I spoke to the receptionist in the showroom and mentioned the model as a point of reference for the style. When a rep was available, it happened to be the manager. He graciously attempted to help. When one of the other reps was free, the receptionist called over for them to take over since all I needed was a Pfister faucet (an extremely low budget item compared to some of the high prices items on display). I was passed off to the other rep who appeared eager to help after giggling with the receptionist about the faucet brand mentioned. I wanted something in that style but nicer. I also own a plumbing company and instructed my fleet to stop using this location. You may not care about the $300-400 faucet I was looking for but your outside sales reps might just care about the heater and softener sales going somewhere else. read more

This place doesn't even warrant a star. They should be out of business. From the minute you enter, you feel invisible. Robots could do better! I recommend they take some tips from Wal Mart or Walgreen's. Even though I called as a follow up to a bid, the sales person didn't return my call. I had to show up but she was busy with someone else and couldn't even break away to greet me. I was in eyeshot of her. The receptionist was about as friendly as a doorknob. She never offered to seek another salesperson for me. I had to suggest it. Of course, no one was available. She could have cared less. I sent an email to the sales person and the manager. No one has contacted me. Unbelievable that they are in business. My next step is to contact corporate. read more

Service? Forget it! The WORST appliance supply and install company that I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of doing renovations. Centralized robot phone system - prepare to waste time on hold. Many inexperienced sales people, and once they get your money --- you have to pay 100% up front when you order for the appliance AND the install ---- you don't exist to them! The install crews LOOK for a reason to leave the job without installing! The sales person has little control over the install people, apparently that is a "separate department" and they DO NOT CARE! I paid over $400 to install my vent hood. Going on 4 months later, the install crew has been out 3 times--- late and unreliable each time --- but each time they come up with something else for the general contractor to do-- and leave the job without contacting him to even let him know what the problem is! My vent is still sitting on the floor. Can I give ZERO stars please! HORRIBLE COMPANY! read more

I never in my life have written a review but I am just shocked at the nonexistent customer service of this place. The showroom is beautiful, that's all. I walked in on a Monday and told the receptionist I was looking for shower hardware. She was nice enough and said she'd have someone come help me. I waited and looked around for about 15 min. Then I said I'll just come back with my husband (I was not irritated by this visit and had also seen a bathtub I liked). She told me the name of the bathtub and I left. I came back the next day with a friend to purchase just the bathtub. As soon as we walked in I stated that I'd like to purchase the tub, they said "ok, I'll find a rep to help you" we proceeded to look around the entire showroom for about 20-30 minutes and walked past many employees who were not with customers, not one asked if we needed help. We walked back up to the front again and told them we just needed someone to charge me for the bathtub. Someone did help within 5 minutes, she charged me and set up delivery from 9-11am the following day and I thought the total sounded a bit off but my baby got fussy and I figured it was the tax and I'll check the receipt in a bit. Well I never got one, not even by email. Then at 7:30 am the next morning the delivery driver calls and tells me he's at my new home and no one is there. I explained to him that I told the girl 9-11 multiple times and that I would not be at that home before 8:30 as I don't live there yet. He said he'd check, he never called me back to confirm a new time. I had to call the show room since he never answered his phone at 10 am to be sure my contractor would be there. Then I called Saturday to tell them I never got a receipt, they emailed it to me later that day and i was over charged, granted it was only $25 ish. I called Monday to tell them and they guy said they'd refund the difference and here we are a week and a half later and they still have not refunded the money or called me. I will never shop there again and would not recommend it. read more

One of the most pathetic customer service you can imagine. When I went in the store, I called a customer service lady for help. I asked her about few prices, instead of attending me properly she said you can look online. She said there are 5 sales people in the store and we are very busy, I said that I do not see any customers in the store, Then she said,I can not stand with you and tell prices of all the appliance , look online. I was really surprised by her attitude. Just imagine, if their customer service is like that before the sales what will it be after. I can not say enough good things about the staff at Ferguson. The sales agent (Jordan) helped me picked up a chandelier and even ordered glass samples from manufacturer so I can better pick the kind of glass I wanted. Very expensive and beautiful. Months later and it was more expensive to install the chandelier where I wanted it than the actual chandelier and when we finally contracted to do so we discovered they had sent the wrong finish, I realized it was my mistake for not checking when it arrived but nevertheless I contacted Ferguson and they contacted manufacturer and they where willing to refund me back but truly I just wanted an exchange and so that's what I got! All thanks to the Sales Manager Kristen. Let me tell you, I was way over the 90, even 180 day guarantee, I was so happy that I order locally vs. the internet. It was all worth it! read more

One star for the nice ladies at the front desk. Looking for a 15/16 adapter female male extension for my water filter system. Referred here by home depot. Allegedly had nothing for me to look at ..did not look at my part and gave me a quick excuse of an after market product and a referral to a water softener parts place on Wetmore and Thousand Oaks...the royal brush off all in less than 3 minutes ...definitely not for the lone customer. .Lowes was extremely helpful and told me of faucet parts on Fresno and I10...next stop...apparently they work on commission at Ferguson's. read more

Walked in needing a replacement part for our Kitchen faucet. I had the brand, finish, name & part number. Despite all of this I could not order my part. This cold front has the supplier shut down in Chicago so we could not place the order. Maybe next week when the weather gets warmer. Called a contractor/friend to fix a leaking shower head. He removed the stems from the shower handles and attempted to replace them with parts from Home Depot. However, the fixtures were from when the house was built in 1978, and he told me that although the parts were "close," they were not exact matches, and might not work. He was right; the drip was now a slow, steady stream. Desperate, I dug the old stems out of the trash where he had thrown them, and took them to Ferguson's at 303 N. Park, in San Antonio. Unfortunately, the lights were off and the door was locked. It was 5:35 p.m., and Ferguson's closed at 5:00 p.m. As I was getting in my car, a young woman came out and summoned me. Even thought it was after hours, she asked what I needed, and what Ferguson's might do to help. I showed her the old stems and she took them inside. Shortly thereafter, she emerged, showed me where a small rubber tip on one of the stems was torn, opined that all I needed was new rubber tips, and then handed me a small package with two rubber tips in it. I offered to pay for them, but she declined and simply gave them to me. One-half hour later, the shower drip was fixed. I can't think of another business that has provided such thoughtful, caring and generous service. I simply cannot say enough about Ferguson's! read more

Customer service is TERRIBLE. We are in the process of a kitchen and laundry room remodel right now and bought all our appliances and hardware from Ferguson's. We made our selections six months before construction began, but when we were ready to install sinks and faucets, two of the three faucets were missing. Our salesperson and customer service agents I spoke to about the missing faucets have been unapologetic and indifferent. So happy with the products and services we received in our new home from Ferguson's. Linda Leroux helped me with all of my selections. She is an expert and makes recommendations that just make perfect sense but you wouldn't think of. I am so thankful for Linda and her team. One thing I need to mention is the install team. The day of our install we were moving into our home. The install team got behind with earlier installations. When I got in, it was already very late and when the team showed up I missed their phone call to let them in the gate. I called and they were very apologetic and had already left. Normally, any other company would have just put me on the next schedule, but Carlos came back the next day at 7:30 am on his day off to install my appliances. He walked in with a smile and a great attitude. As if I didn't feel bad already for him showing up on his day off.....the appliances didn't fit because my cabinets were off. It was a wasted trip for him. He still was so professional and told me exactly what I needed to ask of the cabinet maker to make the appliances fit. He is truly the epitome of great customer service and goes above and beyond for Ferguson customers. He is the best!!! read more

We moved into our house 3 weeks ago & we are still waiting for them to finish the install.. we get every excuse under the sun about why they have not been back. They did not listen to us when it came to staying in our budget & told us fixtures were in our budget when in fact they were almost $2000 over budget. I wouldn't give them one star except I have too! This store has every kind of kitchen or bath item you could possibly want. Very nice showroom. The problem with ferguson's is the service. I walked in to buy a faucet and shower head. Looked around and then told receptionist what I needed. Was told all of the salespersons were busy. I said I would wait. After a few minutes the receptionist told me it would be better to schedule an appt. so as I was waiting to schedule a guy walks in and starts telling him what he needed. He was told the same thing. The guy says he can't wait so the receptionist fund someone to help him. I had to go in the next day. After I purchased my faucet the faucet didn't work so I brought it back. I went around to the side entrance. When I walked in there were four salesmen behind counter all looking at one register. So I waited. And waited. And waited. No one even addressed me. Again a guy walks in from the front and one of the salespersons asks if he could help him. I don't say anything but just kept waiting. After a few more minutes one of the salespersons comes and asks what I need. I explain. He gets on computer and types a little and just stares at the computer for a long time. Doesn't say a word to me. I finally ask if there was a problem. He looks at me and tells me that I can either leave it (faucet)there or I can just wait patiently. I don't know why he was so rude. I think I had been waiting very patiently. I finally got what I needed but because of the terrible service I will be going somewhere else. read more
