There were a couple of rooms that were being redesigned and a lot of winter sale items. I was able to get ideas for different rooms in our apartment, as one who might. The best part of this trip was looking at a lamp in the one of the rooms, and as we made it to the end we stopped in the As Is section and I saw the lamp that was regular price $149.99 and on sale for $99.99. Then the real surprise came when I turned a corner and saw it for $69.99! All I can say is make sure you keep your eyes open and walk around because you will find those deals. They only had self service registers, I miss having regular cashiers. An associate helped me get the lamp in the cart. If you change your mind on items, they have baskets right beside it that you can toss in there. At the end of the trip I went and bought a hot dog for $1, it was just a regular one. The condiments were self service to the side and I saw mustard, Swedish mustard and ketchup. I would have liked to have some relish but that didn't happen.

However, I will still go back when I don't have time to shop from store to store. Also problematic is the sad fact that there is no reliable way to know if they have something that another location has, and sometimes even when I call ahead, they do not have what they claim to have had. So selection is sometimes good, but it is pretty random. One way to look at this is as a treasure hunt, but not always in the mood for hunting! Are the good deals worth the physical stress? Next, should I choose to accept my mission, have to ask every time I see something I want that, yes, is a great deal, whether when coupled with the long line awaiting me at the finish line, is this still such a great deal?

I don't like the new stores so I thought this store would be way better but I was wrong. I got overwhelmed being here because everything is so close together. I kept having to walk around because I didn't fit with my shopping cart in most places or there just wasn't space to walk into certain areas when other people were there. I used to like how things were sectioned off. You'd walk to one side and it was kids clothes, then you'd find the toys or whatever but now it's all basically stacked together. There is really no organization. They downsized to save money (I assume) and they never have any employees on the floor. There's always just 2 people at the register
