As it was very early in the morning and mine be you I was looking at all the tiles they had thrown out when a manager pulled up and asked what I was doing and explain to her that I was taking the thrown out tile. She said ok and thank you for being honest. 5mins go by and a employee comes out tells me to leave because he's going to call the cops and I explained to him that I talked to his manager and then he decided to threaten my life by slamming if he sees me in the neighborhood I'd get it. Now if a employee speaks to me like that I would never go to the store ever again as I do go to that store every now and then to shop. I'm was so surprised by the vast selection of tiling, flooring and grout that they had. Literally any color, size, shape, design, etc you could imagine; they had it here or could get it for you. The most shocking thing was the glitter grout! I had no idea that was a thing and even though I'd probably never use it, it was just awesome to know they had it. We were honestly a little bit overwhelmed by all the choices but the staff here was incredible. Every staff member that passed immediately greeted us and then asked if we needed any assistance. Prices were a bit higher than I was quoted at Lowe's and Home Depot but honestly the quality speaks for itself. If you're remodeling, definitely consider stopping by here and seeing what they have. Drove an hour to pick up a counter top just for the guy to tell me the warehouse closes an hour early even though that's stated no where on the website. Not to mention they were helping some person unload their pickup items still and all I had ordered was a small countertop. I probably could have walked out of the store with it myself. We are remodeling 4 bathrooms. I cannot tell you how helpful it has been to have a Floor and Decor nearby! All of the employees are so helpful. Yesterday, absolutely took the cake on customer service! I selected the floor tile for one of our baths, but the tile on top in easily accessible containers looked like it was from different runs and the colors were extremely varied. Two amazing young employees, Vinny & Damien jumped in to get another cart, move the boxes of tile unbundled on top to get us a section that was bound together and came in the same run from the mfg!! With true friendliness they did this, then stacked the other tile back and helped us to the car with 8 boxes we bought. Everyone there is friendly and asks if I need help; I have probably gone in 100 times in the past 4 months, but this one really takes the cake!! Thank you so much, Vinny & Damien. You are the best! I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I had with your store's materials and professional service. As a customer who was eager to transform my home with new flooring, I expected a positive and seamless process. However, my encounter with Floor and Decor fell far short of my expectations. The first major issue I encountered was the quality of the flooring materials I purchased. Upon installation, it became evident that the products were of subpar quality. The laminate flooring I selected had visible defects, including uneven edges and discolorations. This not only compromised the aesthetics of my space but also raised concerns about the longevity and durability of the flooring. In light of my experience, I strongly urge Floor and Decor to reevaluate its commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for a positive and reliable experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. They sent an inspector to write a report if there were any manufacturing defects, and of course, the inspector said no issue with the manufacturer. It is from the installation contractor! And they asked me to hire an inspector if I am unhappy with the final report! Who has the time to restart the process again, and then they will reject the report that will show their defect? read more

Manager did not know where a sanding sponge was (at the register), I've been overcharged, I've received broken flooring due to employees dropping it outside at pickup, and forget calling in for help. I have been a long time customer of floor and decor and a pro too. So many big orders over the years. Recently I went to make another big order, I brought returns that I had leftover from other jobs. They wouldn't give store credit for the material even though still in stock. On top of that since they wouldn't return they put it on top of the pallet of materials I just purchased . They wrapped and put in my truck. Tile fell over so now I have piles of broken tiles . Great! I will never go back. I've spent over 50-60k there in the last few years and was treated terribly. Purchased 41 boxes of ledger stone on a Sunday. I was only able to load 21 boxes due to my vehicles hauling ability. They encourage me to use the pick up later service for other 20 boxes. I indicated I would pick up on Monday at 4pm, the cashier placed 11am on the ticket to ensure it was ready. Well, arrived Monday at 4:15pm and was told 15 minutes will have it out to your car. Instead of letting me know up front that my purchase was never pulled I waited over 45mins. My concerns are: if your not pulling product there is a chance that products can get sold to another customer then leave you short. I've also noticed the healthily staff on Sunday morning just standing around up front by the registers. I'd start having employees not busy start pulling orders. I like the store and great variety of choices but buyer beware they need to work on their pick up later service. I could have gone in and picked up these 20 boxes in about 20mins without any help. If you use the pick up later service just plan on waiting a long time. read more
