Considering a remodel? This place definitely has options. I don't know, but going from place to place looking for tile, floors, doors, sinks, etc., is stressful. This offers a lot of variety for a lot of needs in one place. The pricing seemed pretty competitive, but honestly I was so overwhelmed I didn't really check this out as much as I should have. What was outstanding was the customer service. My questions were answered easily and returns were accepted with no hassle. This is a win-win for me. read more

I would give it a 0 if I could but Danielle Gillmore is very very but very unprofessional ! and lacks tons customer service and communication skills ! I am appalled on how someone like that is a manager, let alone is allowed to work here . if you want need any flooring or anything of the sort I suggest you go to ANY other location but this one . It seems like she has a problem with Latinos or Mexicans . I had my family contractor call regarding my order who's first language is Spanish with a heavy accent called regarding the status on my order because I told him to, although he does have a language barrier its never been an issue to get his point across if you have a brain , which clearly she lacks. I have been in this store several times and never had an issue with any other associate from cashiers to designers to some people on the floor etc . there was even one time I did not have a receipt for one of my products and I do understand the policies and a young gentleman in the front with curly hair returned them for me either way due to me having my receipt for all of my other returns and it was only 2 pieces of a mosaic, cause floor and decor is all about assisting customers right?? WRONG !! And from seeing the reviews it is not a first. And I do not know who she feels like but clearly this is not the place for her she has such a bad reputation with the store because when I told my neighbor about this incident who also does tons of remodeling and business in this location he knew exactly who I was referring to which says A LOT . anyways she answered the phone and my contractor was explaining the situation that my order had been in a pending shipping for a while now . she proceeded to HUH!?? WHAT?! I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING and "SIR I NEED YOU TO TALK CLEALY I DO NOT KNOW WHAT *mocks him* IS and *hangs up* . Yes just like that . as I'm in the kitchen listening to this I cannot believe my ears so I tell him to disregard it and I decide go into the store and there she is in the back desk with her jacked up teeth and eyes wide "Hi do you have a receipt??" I just walked through the door went to the pros and cancelled my order I cannot believe floor and decor would allow such person to work here she is clearly there just for a check . And clearly does not care to resolve any customer issues if anything she gets s kick or ruining your day and is straight up RUDE!! please save yourself a headache, gas and a trip, my family and I will no longer be doing business here or any F&D we'd rather not deal with someone as miserable as her. I will also be taking this to Human Resources because the energy she gives off is up front MALICIOUS!! read more

I have had the best service at this store. I have recently been there on a few different occasions as we are remodeling. And I don't often feel the need to leave reviews, but Dorian and Alex are the nicest and most helpful workers I have encountered I. Quite some time. It is rare for me to witness that level of customer service these days. I don't know what they get paid, but I know they both deserve a raise. So kind. So helpful. So patient. So attentive. If only everyone had that level of pride in their work! read more

One of several flooring stores we have visited lately in our quest to find new flooring. This one is very different. Apparently there are no salesmen that will be there ready to help you or answer questions. It's more like a costco or sam's for flooring and other related items. We looked but didn't really find what we liked and wasn't able to ask anyone questions. We had to go look for someone to tell us where samples were. Hint: they have a box of samples at each type flooring where you can pull one out of an open box and pay 5$ to take it with you and then return to get your money back. This surprised us as we had been given several very large samples to take home at no charge at another store. we will have to go back and give them another look as we were a bit overwhelmed by this after visiting several other stores that day. read more

Review for Floor & Decor on Loop 410 in San Antonio. I did a lot of research before making my list of everything I would need to replace tiles on my pool. First, I headed to the tiles section. Very few were graded as pool tiles. I found some mosaic glass tiles I liked that had the check mark on the tag. But when asked if I needed help, I asked how I should cut them to have half pieces in case they were needed. I waited several minutes and was finally told I needed to use a Dremel -- that a glass tile nipper would be hard for me to use. I thought, "Because I'm a 60-year-old woman?) Before I started tiling, I did more research and due to the tiles being about 1" x 1" they would be easy to cut with a nipper and they were! I had already bought a Dremel at Harbor Freight that I would now have to return. Then I headed to find mortar and grout. I wanted Laticrete Platinum 254. I was told there was none in stock (even though the Floor & Decor website indicated 40 bags in stock). I was told by a worker that I should use another product instead and also gave me a different grout than I wanted and planned to buy. I got home and read the instructions on the bag of mortar. It specifically said it should NOT be used on pools. So trip #2 was making an exchange. The next night when I was ready to grout, I found a YouTube video that warned not to use the grout I had purchased. It dries very fast and it's NOT for beginners. So my third trip back to the store was to return the grout and get the kind I wanted in the first place! read more

Would like to give a big shout out to Thomas in the design center! He was awesome, spent time answering all of our questions without rushing us. Offered solutions to our flooring problem. The prices at Floor & Decor for high quality materials cannot be beat, but the best thing about the store is they have some outstanding staff members. Zee the designer has an amazing talent and essentially designed an entire bathroom for us. It's spectacular. Sam the Pro was great assisting with construction questions (sad she's moving to CA) and Henry (warehouse/installer) went out of his way to locate materials. 5 10/10 100% read more

Hello neighbors!! I just wanted to warn everybody about Floors and Decor on 1604. They do not stand by their products!! We had a terrible experience a few months back in buying luxury vinyl flooring from them. My husband, although he's not a professional (and it did say on the box you do not need a professional to lay down these particular floors) is very experienced in laying down floors. He could not figure out why the floors would not lay right. The instructions also said that you do not need glue them down-They are a floating floor. After three times of laying them down and ripping them up, we called the company to find out how to return them. They said they will send out an inspector-of course it is their inspector-and they are the manufacturer of the product-who informed us that the floors were not laid down correctly-they should have been glued!! My husband pointed out to the inspector that the floors were defective-they never locked in place. So I guess their solution for defective floors is to glue them in place!! We were then informed that we could find our own inspector. When I did call an inspector she was going to charge a few thousand dollars and we did not want to be out any more money than we already were. These floors were not cheap - they cost us $7000!! Needless to say, they are going in the trash, and we just ordered engineered hardwood from Lowe's-we should have stuck with them from the beginning-we've never had a problem with Lowe's or their products. Buyer beware! Nucore flooring from Floors and Decor-don't buy it unless you want to be out of a lot of money and have a lot of aggravation! read more

Wow! What a selection they have! Mando was so helpful! he knew his products and even showed us products we hadn't considered. He also had a great attitude! we took our so many samples and was wonderful about putting them away instead of looking irritated. He made our experience fantastic! We are ordering from Decor. Thank you Mando! read more

This store has a wide selection of flooring options with constantly new and updated stock. The prices are fair and often less than other big box stores. My 2 star rating is solely based on the customer service here. I have spent A LOT of time here over the last year and there are definitely pros and cons. Pros- wide selection, great prices Cons- checkout can take forever since they are usually understaffed. Ordering online will not speed up the process as their warehouse is always behind. Expect to spend at least 30min-1hour checking out. The best time to go is mid-day during the week. Also, I cannot emphasize enough to check the product prior to leaving the store. I have had cracked tile, different colors, and have had them load open boxes with no concern of them breaking or spilling out. Overall, if you have the patience and the time to spare, go here. If you're in a hurry...visit the competition. read more

We bought/ordered tile from here about 2 months ago. We had to order more due to lack of availability in store. They said "maximum 21 days" to receive. They didn't even call us for over 30 days. My husband finally called and they said something about ordering from another store, which is why the order took longer. Received the tile, started the project, only to realize the whites are 2 different colors! They gave us the wrong tile and it wasn't until we installed that we saw the difference. My husband tried calling, asked for a manager. I am still on hold as I type this....for over 40 minutes!! Update; they refunded us SOME money, not all and then gave us the wrong tiles again. read more

We booked a design consultation with Adriana and she was fantastic! She listened to us explain our vision for a master bathroom project. She suggested tiles based on our taste, and let us decide what we liked best. She also offered advice on color schemes for paint and fixtures. Floor & Decor - Matted and glossy tiles for our bathroom project as well as a hexagon tile. - Kitchen & Bath Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

This floor and decor has the best designer hands down. My mom and I went around town even to Live Oak to see what we could do with a dated 1960s bathroom. After many long hours trying to find tile, we finally were able to find some but we could not have done it without the help of Cynthia. Cynthia is one of the design specialists at Floor and Decor off of 410. She is experienced and she knows what goes well together. She also listens to what you want and helps you find the most practical - yet fun design. She is easy to talk to and definitely a huge asset to this place. If you are like me with no design background and remodeling isn't your thing, I recommend coming here talking with Cynthia and let her walk you everything from the shape of tile to the color. Thank you so much Cynthia!! :') read more

Came in to choose tile and the people there were very helpful and answered every question we had, in addition to greeting us very friendly. When we found the tiles we wanted, we asked to move some of them out of the way to get a full set. Two of the workers helped us carry all the items out to the car and also fill it into our vehicles. They were very courteous. All a great experience! However, the next day we went back to purchase some equipment and the worker in that area was not very helpful in explaining how to use it. Then, we had some issues with the product and the manager was not very friendly in helping us resolve the issue. Although their return policy indicates 100% satisfaction guarantee, they do not take returns on several tiles (due to a new policy) and also machine equipment (as you have to contact the manufacturer). I completely understand these disclaimers if they were actually written somewhere noticeable. When all the cashiers say satisfaction guaranteed and the receipt itself reflects the same language, you can see how this may be frustrating to someone wanting to return items they no longer want/need. Overall, service was friendly if you are choosing items out. Joel especially is a great manager and very friendly and helpful. The employees on the floor also are nice. But, there definitely needs to be better communication about their return policies. We came back a third time to return some other items we didn't end up using and it took about 20 minutes because either the returns were too complicated or needed a managerial approval. Some things that need to be worked on, but if you need well priced tile and a good selection, I'd recommend this store. read more

Great selection and wonderful service. I asked for help with some 2' x 4' porcelain tiles. Ronny was quick to respond, grabbed a cart, loaded the tiles for me, called Dorrian , a decorator, to help with selection of a silicone grout and loaded my car. Both of these men were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I asked about the manager so I could compliment the two men. Turns out Ronny was the store manager. I am amazed that the manager of this large, busy store took the time to help me with my small purchase. Dorrian helped me choose the perfect color. Thank you, thank you Dorrian and Ronny. read more

Loved Adriana! She was get to work with and really helped bring my vision to life. I loved the titles she helped us with. I am looking forward to when my bathroom remodel will be complete. The only reason there is not 5 stars, is when we went back to purchase the titles 1. A service person was rude and didn't want to help us. This guy!!!! 2. The pebbles purchased for the shower floor, we were quoted 11.99, they rang up 12.99 a sheet, cost us about 20 dollars more! Other than that, really loved our experience here. We came in looking for a wood laminate floor and landed on one that we thought would be good for a project we were working on. As we started to load it on to the flat bed we encountered Jacob F and started to ask some questions about the flooring we picked out. Jacob took the time to go over all the different levels of the laminate floor and showed us a brand and level that would better suit our needs for that particular project. We also ended up getting a better deal because the color I found was a close out and we bought all that was left...SCORE!!! We will for sure come back for future projects and shop with Jacob as his knowledge of the products was super helpful! read more

I just got off the phone with Jessica at the 410 Floor & Decor Store. I live in Breckenridge, TX., and fell in MAJOR LIKE with a discounted flooring "COCO!" My boyfriend and I happened to be in town for the weekend, and are building 2 homes simultaneously. I thought we lost out on the deal, but Jessica searched high and low and found the exact number of boxes we need. She even looked online to assure us that we could have it delivered out here to our small town for CHEAPER, then driving down with our duely(BOO TO DIESEL GAS PRICES) and picking our flooring up. Thank you to Jessica for going the extra mile!!!! We come here often but today was a difficult experience. First of all, they are short staffed. I understand that, but to wait 25 minutes to finally get help with an item was beyond rediculous. Just visited Floor and Decor. Great selection. This was our second visit, with the intention to purchase a sink. Our first visit we looked around, a lot of people and hard to find some help and newbies didn't know too much (cashier section). Today, was a great experience. Nikki (sink/countertop section) blew us away. She answered every question we had and even helped give us ideas on countertop choices, provided us further information on all that Floor and Decor has to offer (such as designing assistance)Thank you so much Nikki for your help. I hope you can train every person their. You were and are awesome Nikki gets a 5 . Then we went driving from place to place because they said item was there but it was not. So next time if you need something call and have some one physically check to see it's there. Oh and also make sure the item is not chipped and such (you probably have to physically look at it). As when we were trying to get a sink they actually put the chip and ugly area to the side for us to not see. We didn't take it. read more

I have been calling this store for the last six days several times a day and they NEVER answer the phone. I tried every option allowed on their phone message and let it ring anywhere from 3 to 8 minutes. From Operators to Floor tile specialist to Pro Services....NO ANSWER! What is going on at this store? How can you run a business if you NEVER answer your phones? I purchased tiles that needed to be shipped to San Antonio from Houston. They would NOT ship them unless I paid them in FULL. I was told it would take 4 to 10 days to arrive. I´m on a timeline with the Contractor that is doing my remodel. Old showers leak apparently and now we are getting a new one. This turned out to be way more overwhelming than the wife and I thought. Our contractor suggested we go to Floor & Decor and work with one of their free designers. They were fantastic! Helped us come up with a design and even suggested cost saving measures. Also we had already priced at a different big box tile place a tile similar (possibly exactly the same) as the one we decided on and Floor Decor was25% cheaper. Also super friendly and helpful were crew that loaded it into the Rav (maybe not the best idea for my suspension). I will definitely go back for future projects - but I hope I don't have any more leaks! read more
