Tried this restaurant out for the first time today. Service was solid and atmosphere was nice. Food and drinks were good plus the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant experience itself would have been enough to prompt the review, but Raphael, who greeted us when we first came in, went out of his way to find me and my family at a nearby store when I left my card behind after paying for the food. That kind of above and beyond service isn't something I've seen very often and stood out to jot only my family and I, but the people working at the store who witnessed what Raphael did and were equally blown away by his kindness and care. read more

We ordered the breakfast combos. Hubby had the waffle which was delicious! I had the pancakes and my friend said to ask for the fried pancakes and it took it to another level of goodness. We came here this morning because reviews looked good! sadly, we didn't get to try the food. we were a party of 4 seated at 11:20; seated inside. We were then ignored by servers for 30 minutes. It was not busy inside. There was a family wrapping up their meal and a party of 6 seated across the way who were helped and got to place an order. The server then cleaned the table of the family that left, took her time to wipe every surface down. I'm glad she was being through but it would've been nice to at least been acknowledged. Shortly after this we just decided to get up and leave and take our business elsewhere. Ambiance was okay! I wish we would've been helped. read more

My family (10 people) and I were looking for a place to eat and we were walking down old town and each place had these long wait times of an hour or more, I decided to check this place out, nice seating areas very welcoming. The employees were very kind and attentive. I asked the host if they'd be able to seat 10 people and we were seated within 5 minutes. AMAZING. The food came out quickly, the flavor on everything was spot on. I'd say the only thing was the clam chowder was a bit runnier than I'm used to but the flavor was good, the consistency is more of a preference. This place is decently priced as well, a family of 10 and it was like $200! Can't find that at a lot of places anymore. Will be coming back, check this place out:) read more

The food at Rodeo Cafe was delicious we went for Father's Day it was our first time going and definitely won't be our last time. The Country scramble, coffee and Blood Mary were all so good! Jesus our sever was great and made sure we enjoyed our meals he also let us know about Menudo on the weekends so we will be back for that! Rodeo Cafe is clean and a friendly atmosphere. I've been here three times...twice with my husband, once with a friend. We obviously like the place! The food is very good...fresh and the chilaquiles are the best! My husband has ordered them twice. Decided to try a new place in old town and it did not let us down! Great service from our server Omar and the food was really good! The rodeo potatoes are fire!!!! I would say this reminds of place I used to go to in Norco when I was a kid! My wife had the Ortega chile omelette and that was really good also! We will definitely be back! read more

Great food I had the 1/2 rack ribs came w Cole slaw and i ordered a baked potatoes instead of mash potatoes. My Dad has the chicken wings he wasn't to empresses but we all loved the corn bread , my mom had the fried lightly battered calamari she enjoyed it . The person who was doing the seating was so rude. It was hot outside and they kept us waiting for a long time. Long enough for a line to form. We stepped inside to avoid the sun and he refused to seat us. Said he was going to seat others first even though we were first. Told us we were supposed to wait outside so he wasn't going to seat us. I have to say that Temecula isn't the most diverse place on the planet. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, though. I'd never even try to go there again. read more

Service was very very slow. Everyone but me got their food. Then when they brought my BBQ sandwich it was on the plate alone, no fries, garnish nothing! Just like they threw it on the plate. Had the pork chops and eggs and combo Omelette. Pork chops were so tender and juicy perfectly seasoned, house potatoes so yummy onions and bell peppers and seasoned just right, eggs cooked just right as I requested. The Combo Omelette didn't come as your typical omelette, its made more like a scramble so that was different, hubby was looking forward to an omelette but over all it was yummy. Rodeo Cafe is very generous on their servings. One thing I absolutely loved about Rodeo Cafe is that every dish is served with a chile Toriado a signature for all dishes, which I absolutely love! Our server Malorie a total sweetheart gave us amazing service constantly checking on us if we needed anything, making sure we were enjoying our meal. Thank you Malorie for giving excellent service. It has a very nice ambiance, we didn't go inside we decided to eat outdoors since the weather was perfect for an outdoor meal. Towards the end of our brunch we had the opportunity to meet one of the owners as he came up to our table and asked how we liked our meal, didn't get his name, but he did give us a little history of his family's franchised how it all started. Very cool story started as a young man working for his family. He was also hopeful that he would get the news of getting licensed to sell liquor tomorrow, very nice guy. All and all I will definitely be going back and highly recommend Rodeo Cafe to everyone you will not be disappointed. I regret not taking any pictures to show the yummy portions and yummy food.
