When we arrived I noticed that they closed at 6pm, the current time was 5:52pm. I inquired about the gun and the man working the counter pulled it out of the case for my inspection. Knowing already that I wanted the firearm I told him "I'll take it" and we began the paperwork. If you've purchased a firearm you know this can be a long process as CBI can delay things quite a bit. At about the 6:30 mark my wife and one of my kids start doing the potty dance. I asked about a restroom which they clearly didn't have but yet he took the time to walk them down to a unit that did. Finally 6:45 and the background check goes through, he rings us up and I'm short on cash by a couple bucks. Then again he goes the extra mile and calls it sqaure. So Mike I owe you one and I appreciate you going the extra mile and being so hospitable. If you are looking for a wonderful firearm, reloading and accessory shop check them out. They also have CCW classes which I plan to attend within the month.

When I entered, I was greeted very warmly and asked if I needed any help. No complaints there. The prices seemed reasonable with a rather limited selection of firearms and/or ammunition. It's a small store, so that's not really an issue. What did bother me is the way the pistols were just thrown into the display cabinets, lying on and against one another. It just feels off to me to see such high dollar weapons just randomly thrown into a case. I've never seen new guns bare metal stacked on one another like this. It gave me the feeling these people didn't care about firearms in the same way I do. I'd be slow to buy from anyone that shows such little regard for their own stock. I've been buying guns for twenty years and I've never seen this, even in low end pawn shops. Your mileage may vary but guns are a lifestyle to me and I deeply care about how they are taken care and how safely they are handled.

Rob referred me to another shop, which of course I have to pay for to get his mistake fixed, so I asked to refund the $25. He threw a fit, gave me the money and said some sarcastic comments under his breath, e.g "next time don't rack the slide from the optic" which I told him I never did or do. So now I have a slide with a screw in it, have to pay to get it fixed (hopefully). And left with a bunch of unnecessary attitude. Every time id call to check on my slide, I would receive some attitude from Rob, the gunsmith. His work is questionable, and his attitude, inexcusable.
