We took it to several other places that didn't really want to deal with it, I found this business via Yelp and as a recommendation from The Gallery Shooting Range. These guys welcomed us in, chatted us up and immediately got to work on the rifle. They even have the ability to test fire weapons right there on site. The problem was diagnosed in five minutes and repaired in ten minutes. In the meantime, we were shown around and given a detailed explanation of the Cera Kote process. The rifle was returned to us and they refused to take a payment from us as the fix was simple. This is our new gun smith as no experience we've ever had in this genre gets anywhere near the positive experience of this place. These guys really love and know their guns. Thank you so much Parker, Sam and Craig. You guys rock.

I have only really used this location as a FFL when ordering guns online but they are very nice…read morewhen I come in. I chose this location solely because their website says: "Westminster Arms is dedicated to the safety of all those in our community. We believe the 2nd Amendment applies to all law-abiding Americans regardless of the color of their skin, LGBTQ or income level, etc. We value your business and will work hard to earn it. 'An armed minority is harder to oppress'" I dig that a gun shop has this stance as it aligns with my personal views. The sales people are very friendly though a bit solemn sometimes. Once you get them talking they are very open though. They seem to have some nice pieces in stock if you want to buy from them directly but if you need a FFL. This is the place.

They charged me $45 to lower the pull. I gladly paid. I didn't shoot it over the winter. I took it out to the range a month ago and the trigger adjustment nuts were loose. The caused the bolt to cycle a cartridge, ejecting the spent round and inserting a new cartridge into the chamber BUT THE TRIGGER WASN'T RESETTING. The trigger was all the way back against the trigger guard. It actually fired from touch the side of the trigger. I purchased a Timney "drop-in" trigger on line but apparently bought the wrong model. I finally started calling local gunsmiths and was quite discouraged...first elk rifle was only 1 week away. I talked to many gunsmiths who weren't very helpful. One said he only worked on ARs. Another told me he was busy with his family. Still another told me he'd call me back with the name of another gunsmith who he recommended only to call me back. I talked with Rod @ Rocky Mountain Gunsmith and was pleasantly surprised. He was polite and told me he was busy but you could tell he was glad to accept the work. He got me the correct trigger overnight shipped and installed getting my gun back to me the day before I left for the mountains. We dry fired it a few times and it is wonderful - and safe. I'll stop in at the range tomorrow on my way up to the mountains. I'm very thankful for Rod's willingness to help me out on short notice, for his reasonable labor rates, and for his thankful attitude for my business. Highly recommended!
