after purchasing my car ( bmw) within less than 250 miles the entire emission system flagged codes (4) requiring replacement and will not pass smog. $700-$1000 job to fix and they offer 3rd party warranty only, not valid for 90 days. my car has issues at less than 14 days. they refuse to pay for the repairs after i paid for car in full and have 100,000 mile warranty, but havw to wair 3 months to be effective. i dont feel luke a rockstar. i feel taken disadvantaged of by the crook salesman.I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY UNLESS YOURE READY FOR EXPENSIVE REPAIRS. read more

TERRIBLE service. Theyre all liars and the cars are all scratched and smell horrible. I bought a car as a gift for my wife and 2 days later it breaks down. They rush through paper signing and do not fully explain whats wrong with the car, they gave me an innacurate car fax and lied about the car being in perfect condition. To respond to what the gentlemen below said, yes they attempted to fix the car through a mechanic that has nothing but "rockstar rides" in his shop, the manager personally deleted the check engine light off of my car before any work was done to it. Saying it was a "piston misfire" the problem didn't go away until I had to take it to BMW myself come to find out the entire gas tank was messed up. A $3,000 fix. When I asked one of your employees why the car only would fill to a quarter of a tank y'all simply stated "oh, that's just how it is". Not to mention the car still has problems to this date. When I got my first car here there was a check engine light on I asked about it they told me it has been serviced their mechanic just didn't know how to clear it. Keep in mind I was a boot at the time and thought hell yeah 18k for a bmw that's gold! Nope car broke down 6 months later front struts are blown out completely severe oil leak etc. since I didn't learn the first time I went back to look at a cheap Subaru, I picked it up since I need a ride to work and home 4 months later as I'm driving doing 35 at 2k rpms the engine just blows up. Now when I got the car It had a check engine light they cleared it said it was good that they took it to Subaru and had the whole thing inspected for me. I trusted them and now I completely regret it as I have a 20k loan for a blown up vehicle that I can't drive I can only sit in it and resent rockstar rides. I asked the dealership several times what they can do about the check engine light before it blew up they said sorry you drove it off the lot it's your problem now. Y'all stay away from this dealership and make sure your boots come no where near here. Update: I never raced the Subaru I never red lined it as the second day I had it Off the lot I got a check engine light and I brought it back immediately that night. Yes I had plans for the car to build a different engine for it but as it was I wanted to have a get to work and home car. Bottom line is rockstar rides is a scam dealership that'll sell you cheap cars that barely run they do a quick fix and get it off the lot before a check engine light came on Another update, just went under the car to finally get her fixed a year later, and this is the kinda weld job they'll do to your car if you buy it from them catless! I came here with my husband who is former military and Dimitry claimed to be prior military (other reviews also state this) but all the info he gave about his service was wrong (he never served) not a big deal though - whatever. We asked to test drive two vehicles and he said not unless we got approved, why would we apply for a car we can't even drive? For one car he stated it's because it's luxury (it was 10 years old) but the kia we also wanted to test drive isn't luxury .... Extremely unprofessional, pushy, and terrible sales pitch. We repeatedly told him we do have a trade in but don't want it looked at unless we can drive a car. There is no point to appraise my vehicle if I can't test drive a potential buy. The key fob didn't unlock the back doors to the vehicle we wanted to test drive, he didn't know mileage or prices of any cars anytime we'd ask he'd say (I don't know I would have to look). Said the cars had warranty when the signs on the car said "As is no warranty". Told my husband the Kia Optima he wanted to test drive for himself was (girly). DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. They sold me a car with a bad transmission that blew on me a year after having it. Now I'm in debt paying off a loan on a car that doesn't run. I had to have the car towed to a transmission shop and the mechanic told me its going to cost $9k to get a new transmission put in because they can't rebuild the one in it. The people here are very pushy. I went here when I was barely 18 told them no but somehow got talked into buying a 2014 challenger from them. I was excited and loved the car for the first few months. After less than a year the abs light came on from problems with that I needed new tires in that same time frame the stereo stoped worked the brake pads and rotors both needed to be replaced after being as assured everything was recently replaced. I would never come here or refer anyone here. If I could I would return my car and get a refund ASAP. They are great at covering up all the problems but after having this car for still less than 2 years and having so many problems they are all showing now. read more

Don't even waste your time here. Went with my husband to look at a WRX Impreza and right off the bat the guy starts talking about getting approved for a loan, financing after we had stated we just wanted to look... anyway my husband is an avid car person and looked at the vehicle wanted to make sure everything was fine, looked under the car and something was leaking, husband told the guy and he barley even looked and immediately said "no that's not from this car it's from another". The lost has absolutely no room to move any of the cars they would have to move the cars hours before and the wet spot would have dried. And after kind of getting pushed to see if we got approved for a loan, which by the way we had to open a whole other account through navy federal. After an hour of doing all this stuff these guys (Dimitri and Daniel) start to hardball us and throw all this stuff like "if you get approved we can pick up a check today and you can take the car not a problem. We get denied that's fine, it was for a $25,000 loan, my husband is a LCpl in the Marine Corps, not gonna happen. They say after we get denied to try for a smaller loan of $1500. At this point we are like "no it's coooool" especially cause the car was way over priced and had a ton of scratches. Then as we are tying to get out of this really awkward stressful situation, Dimitri starts to talk to us about our credit situation (we have no credit and knew we wouldn't get approved but tried anyway cause ya know pushy people) he starts to tell us quite aggressively that we need to build our credit and that no one will ever give us loans and that we won't be able to get a home when my husband is out of the military. All this stuff that you don't say to prospective customers. As we are like "no it's fine" and get up to leave one of them says "it's okay we don't need you guys to buy from us" and with that we left. Military guys new to California, don't go it. The whole getting picked up and taken back was nice. Even though I had a ride there with a friend of mine that is an experienced mechanic. They said I'm not allowed to be there with anyone else besides myself. Extremely pressuring. Didn't like any of the cars and was kept until past midnight. I blame myself for actually buying a car that was pre-owned certified but the car came with a lot of issues that was covered up pretty well. Had to replace the control arms, water pump, EVAC system, rotors, some interior components, and papers never told me car was re-ended before until I went to the actual model's dealership. Highly don't recommend for anyone who doesn't know much about cars and is turned away for wanting to bring an experienced mechanic. read more

When I asked about it the guy said that they overprice cars so that they can get them financed. And try to explain to me that the bank will only loan more money than the car is worth. I learned something interesting during my visit. Looking at a $10,000+vehicle with over 70,000 miles. I ask why the vehicles are priced so high, do you do some kind of special maintenance before they are sold ? The very informative salesman tells me that they are more expensive because cars from California are made to not rust and are more durable. Hmmmm I've sold cars for several years and NEVER knew this.
