These people, let me tell y'all something. These people have been jerking me around for the last 4 months. I'm driving around on expired paper plates because of this dealership. I purchased this car about 4 months ago and I still have not got my plates. I had replace my tires , do a oil change and so much more within two weeks of having my car. They made fake promises to me about getting my plates and registration. They are the worst people ever. If I could, I would return this car n get my money back. BEWARE, Disabled single parents and others please BEWARE! This shop will string you along, damage your property, promise to replace the damaged item then refuse to follow through. Ray provides the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a supposed professional. He talks down to women as if they are stupid, he refuses to offer me the respect I deserve as a disabled person and patron of this shop. I was already promised a replacement by Zeek and the owner. I don't know what's going on over there, but Ray is starting an investigation on whether or not they will honor their word.The battery has already been checked! Zeek saw the damage in person when I brought it in. Zeek and the owner promised me a new remote! Now some guy named Ray is demanding I bring my car, that does not drive because they never fixed it, after stringing me along with nonsense financing they supposedly offer for months. I was finally able to get my car picked up and this is what I received in return for all the headache, and time wasting they gave me. One condition I have is OCD, so I have to have my keys a certain way and I keep them perfect on their keychain. Some numbskull decided to take my keys off the keyring you can see in the pictures. Then chose to stab a weird wire through my remote to attach the keys that were already attached with a key ring. Stabbing it damaged the internal components which caused the remote to stop working. Does this make any sense to anyone?! Lord knows it makes zero sense to me and I'm a very logical person. Ray I don't have to prove anything to you. The remotes damage has already been reviewed by the shop and I was told I was going to receive a new remote. That remote needs to be delivered and programmed to my current vehicle here at my home. I will no longer be inconvenienced by your unprofessionalism and lack of respect for women and the disabled community in general. It's a car remote your shop broke! It's not like I'm asking you to pay thousands of dollars for something crazy. Please take some customer service and sensitivity classes in order to help yourself be more successful in what you are in charge of doing. Your treatment of me has been disgraceful, and unacceptable! Do not talk down to your customers like stupid idiots. It's most likely they're smarter and kinder than you. This is a business not your own personal playground to bully people. If I could give 0 stars I would. From the very beginning of receiving the car in august 2023 I've had nothing but problems. The transmission has failed twice . The car I got was a lemon it's a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage es. I wish there is a way that I could return the car as it has to many problems. It is going to cost $25K to fix the car fully. I would not recommend the automotive group to anyone. My partners family member also had issues with this group. read more

Seaside installed new OEM factory brakes on my Audi. Turned out perfect. They picked up my car from the Audi dealership for me, and had everything fixed and perfect within a couple days. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. But I guess I'll have to settle with 5. I went to Seaside Automotive after another company treated me poorly. Thank goodness that happened because now I have found my go-to auto shop for as long as we are stationed here. I walked in and immediately, I felt a good vibe about this place. Charlie and his employees are extremely sweet. They squeezed me in for an oil change. When they said it would take about an hour, I was more than happy to wait. They gave me a recommendation for a great place to get coffee and banana bread (which, their recommendation was EXCELLENT - so, thanks for helping me find my new favorite coffee place, as well as finding my favorite auto shop). I came back an hour later and my car took a little longer than they expected. So I sat in their chairs in the corner of their office, playing on my phone. It was within minutes that the owner, Charlie, sparked up a conversation with me. He probably had way more important things to do but instead, he chose to chat with me. Charlie has this heartwarming personality that reminded me so much of my dad, whom I currently live 3,000 miles away from while husband is stationed on Camp Pendleton. We talked about kids, family, jobs, and so much more. He kept checking for updates on my car for when it was ready because he knew I wanted to go back home to my daughter. When the check out was complete, he walked me outside. Because their parking lot is a little different than some, he helped me get my car out of their lot, so I wouldn't feel nervous about hitting anything. It was absolutely wonderful. Everyone knows it's hard finding someone to trust with your car. I spent 23 years in Maryland and had my regular go-to place. Two years later of being in California, I finally trust a shop with my car that gets my family to and from places everyday. Charlie, thank you SO much for owning your shop. I'm glad I stumbled upon you on Yelp. I appreciate your employees getting my car ready to go for our big trip for Thanksgiving. I look forward to bringing it back for other oil changes and repairs. I recently inquired about purchasing a vehicle with seaside automotive, spoke with Brian who was my representative who very enthusiastically informed me to come in! I informed my Brian of my situation thoroughly, he assured me he understood told me not to worry just to come in he would take care of me! I re iterated to him my situation and informed him if he was sure and that I could do a application online to make sure I'm approved and to smooth things over before I get there! He insisted I didn't need to do that, and he would make sure my needs are met. I then asked if they offered car service, he told me not at the moment just to use money out of deposit, fast forward I get there, he's not in, someone else helps me, long story short they blew smoke up me wasted my time and theirs I had to uber back wasting a total amount of over $120 + on ubers worst experience ever they literally left me on the side walk as they closed shop and drove off! I reach out to Brian and informed his this is the exact situation I was trying to avoid now I've wasted money out my deposit, he acted apologetic informed he will talk to owner to get my money back for uber until I told him I don't think I'll be doing business with him after this he calls me being rude tell me he's not doing shit and hung up in my face! I've been taking my car to Charlie since he was still down at ACV in Sorrento Valley -- for 13 years! -- and both my parents have been taking multiple vehicles to him for even longer than that. I don't even live in San Diego anymore (I'm now in LA), but I will still go to him before anyone else, and will even tow all the way down to Oceanside if that's what it takes! There is no substitute for a trustworthy, reliable mechanic, let alone one who can help you prioritize your repairs (this is a huge help if you're tight on funds), and who will treat you like family, including lots of fun stories and good humor. Came here earlier this week and here's how my weekend went before coming here: Friday drove my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Temecula for the MCB, drove fine nothing wrong with it, drive back to base later that same night all good. Saturday morning turn on the jeep to go to the store, I'm sitting in the jeep in my garage, running, then all of a sudden it stops working. I crank it, and it won't turn over. As this is my daily driver, I get worried and start looking at what it could be. Went to get the battery checked and it works perfectly. I called someone to come (who said they knew about cars) and said it was my fuel pump. Sunday comes, all mechanic shops are closed, and I wait until Monday morning. I start calling all around Oceanside and vista to start getting an estimate of what I'm about to shell out to get my car running again. Lowest quote, and the kindest person on the phone I call seaside auto and speak to Charlie. His demeanor on the phone alone made me want to come here, so I decide to get my car towed over to his shop. I get there and his two mechanics immediately start working on the car, like quick! Found out in less than 2 minutes that it wasn't my fuel pump, and in about 10 minutes completely diagnosed the problem. They fixed the car same day, didn't run the same when I picked it up, and I took it back and they immediately began again, turned out to be a defective part-which I don't blame them at all for because I know that it happens. He was extremely accommodating and didn't charge for the defective part. Came back the next morning and they were already working on it. Got my car back that Tuesday morning and everything has been running smoothly since! On top of all that actually meeting Charlie made it seem like family, and you can definitely tell that this honest shop that won't try to just take your money! I recently lost our great mechanic in San Diego and wanted to be able to find a reputable and honest place in the Oceanside area. After utilizing Yelp to inquire about transmission and other issues and after being blown off by the "supposed" best transmission place in Oceanside, Mac from Seaside Automotive direct messaged me and asked about my issues. We spoke for a bit and he asked me to bring it in so he and his crew could give my girl the once over. All told, I dropped my girl off at Seaside a couple of days later, and got her back within 3 days. I did need some work (and still need some other stuff done) but Mac made sure to have his guy test drive my Jeep prior to making any determinations, kept me informed of what was going on and what the shop was doing, and how much it would all cost. No pressure, no BS. I appreciate that. So I will eventually be taking my girl back to get additional work done and highly recommend them. Do not be fooled by the location, they get the job done. Went in for a transmission leak couple hours before closing. Met with Charlie as soon as I drove into the parking lot. He got one of his people to take a look at it to see what was wrong with my car and it was a quick fix. Before I went to seaside automotive, I went to a different automotive shop and they turned me away because of the time. They didn't even take a look to see what was the issue really was. What I like about seaside automotive is that they didn't look at the time to see if they were about to close, they just saw my car without hesitation. I have been bringing my Honda Accord to Charlie for years and he continues to provide the best service imaginable. I appreciate that although the business focuses on European cars, he doesn't treat me any different even though I have a Honda. It's difficult finding a trustworthy place to bring your car without having to worry about getting ripped off, but I've definitely found that with Charlie. He even makes himself available after hours on his cell phone for emergencies! How often do you find that with car service! Charlie recently switched from a shop in Sorrento Valley to Oceanside and it's worth it for me to make the drive. Great, trustworthy auto repair place. They were able to fit me on the same day to do an oil change and alignment. While it was there they did an inspection and made appropriate recommendations, but didn't push anything that wasn't needed. Reasonable prices and great staff.
