One star rating is overkill ! I bought my BMW M850i in May 2024. Wired them a LOT of $$$. It's now October and I do not have my license plates or title to the car yet. These guys have made excuse after excuse. They are well beyond the timeframe that California Law permits them to provide title to the new owner. Fines will be applied. After searching online, I came across a 2013 Acura MDX that appeared on sale from the Autonique website. I sent a request and received a call immediately by Johnny and later received a call from Mauricio. I contacted my credit union for a Auto loan they contacted Pablo and everything went smoothly from there. To make a long story short, Pablo spoke with my credit union to make sure I get the best deal and that following Saturday my husband and I drove to Oceanside from Long Beach (an hour and 45 min drive) to sign the papers as the new owner of my 2013 Acura MDX. This SUV had only one owner and 82000 miles. It's very clean and look brand new (from the inside and out). This is a 8 year old car and it look and drives great!!!! Highly highly recommend this place. Drove down from the Pasadena area to check out a Lexus 4x4 and very glad I did. They are transparent about everything, friendly, low pressure, no BS, and allowed me to have an independent pre-purchase inspection done (without trying to control where I had it done, as I experienced elsewhere). I had a horrendous experience elsewhere at a shady wannabe "custom Toyota truck" dealer in San Diego that sells a lot of highly overpriced lifted Toyota trucks (and that also seems to show up everywhere in the used Toyota truck listings like a bad disease)...and the experience here was night and day. Whereas the other dealer literally insulted me to my face, kept/stole my deposit after doing so, and refused to allow me to have a truck inspected at a place of my own choosing even with a deposit, Autonique had a genuinely honest and open vibe. The facility is also clean and organized, there's easy parking on the street, and the process was the lowest stress experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle in over 20 years. Buying a used car comes with enough uncertainty without dealers trying to screw you any way they can, and it sucks to spend hard earned money only to walk away feeling had which can easily happen even when you know a thing or two about cars. This place takes the shady dealer element out of the equation, and that's a rare thing.
