Not a fan. Used them before and I was stranded. The driver brought me to "his place" to get it fixed and I watched money exchange hands for bringing me in. The tow truck driver looked absolutely guilty, angry that I saw the exchange, gave me a dirty look and left. Had to use them again for AAA and the time went from 10 minutes to an hour to two hours. A friend left work to help me out and we got it moving. I will not use these guys or recommend Rocket Towing to anyone ever. Not trustworthy and they keep pushing you out . Waiting is not an option when children are involved. read more

Got my car stuck in the snow in an alley. After digging and digging and no success in getting it out, I called AAA, who dispatched someone from Rocket Towing to get me out. Now, to be fair, AAA warned me that there was no guarantee you'll get unstuck if you're in an unplowed alley, but the way things unfolded, I think I still have a right to be pissed off here. The driver showed up in a big flatbed, hooked up my car, and then got himself stuck in the snow. As he tried to dig himself out, I grabbed a shovel and joined in. He assured me that once he was un-stuck, he would get me out too. I got him boards and a rug to put under his wheels for extra traction, no help. Eventually, he called his dispatcher, who sent another flatbed to get him out. All the while, the driver kept assuring me that he would help me out once he was un-stuck. So, the new pulls out the driver's truck, and then they just leave. He doesn't say a word to me, and when I try calling him on the phone, he doesn't answer. Just leaves me stranded there at 4:00am. Now, like I said, I know AAA warned me that he may not be able to pull me out, and if this guy had told me from the start that I was out of luck, I would have understood, and I could have called another service earlier instead of waiting for this guy. Instead, he lied right to my face. He even drove off with my rug! Finally, I called a different towing service, who sent a regular truck with a winch instead of a flatbed, and they had me out of the snow in less than 5 minutes. read more

Rocket Towing just towed my car. The Tow truck driver was very rude . So I asked him how his day was going. He said its "Long, hot and frustrating" then hooked up my vehicle and drove away without saying another word or giving me any paperwork. Dang, wish I could give 0 stars read more

This towing company is the best! They communicate very well and are timely in their arrival. All, and I mean all, of their employees are cordial, professional and will advise you of the best action for your situation. They towed me to a tire service company when my spare wasn't any good for driving. They truly care and take very good care of you! read more

So you think there so great well let me tell I wouldn't let them tow my car . What happen was I was turning in to Meyers parking lot . It was a double turning lane and cut a cross my lane to cut me off a cross Western Ave though against a RED ARROW I hope all your drives aren't that reckless . Yes I spoke to the owner and he assured he would speak to his driver . So I think make sure it won't happen any more. So I think they probably a very good reputation . Called for a tow through AAA. This is the second time I got Rocket Towing and funny I got the same guy Dante! Very pleasant and cheerful. Got my car running and still offered to tow my car to repair shop. Told him since it was running I would just drive it there myself but thank you for coming out and offering. If there is a way to request this same person each time I need a tow for my 21 year old car I would ask for Dante. read more

My car broke down at 79th and Lowe on the south side of town I got there number from another tow company so when I called and explained that I needed a tow and I needed a price from 79th and Lowe ova to 77th and kedzie, which is literally 15 mins away from 79th and Lowe and they said $90 dollars which was extremely high for that distance, when the tow guy got there he explained to me it was $6 dollars a mile but the distance is only 4-5 miles away so that much money was ridiculous I will never recommend this company to anyone there to expensive. read more

Rocket towing was honest about the wait time and very accommodating. Ayman, the driver called me to let me know where he was and when he was on the way. He went out of his way to make an otherwise frustrating experience easier for me by picking up my keys, towing the car, dropping it off at the shop and calling me to confirm he had dropped it off. This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!, I called for the Tow at 8:15am and he said about an hour So I figure maybe a little past that. He arrives at 9:42, okay no big deal, I remind him of where to Tow my car too, the driver says," Okay, have a nice day, I'll see you there". Then I guess the owner or dispatch guy calls me at 10:02 asking if I paid the driver and I told him "no he said he would meet me at the shop" he responds okay no problem. I left my house 20 minutes later to give him some to make it to the shop that is exactly 20minutes from my home. I get to the mechanic and my car isn't here. I call back to the towing company and the guy says," oh I'm sorry he's right behind you he should be there in 5 minutes" well, 30 minutes later the tow truck still isn't at the mechanics", so I call back to the towing company, no answer, I call again no answer, again no answer.. Now I'm pissed off. My son calls from him phone and the same guy picks up! WTF, I then ask where in the hell is my car??? He puts me on hold for like 2 minutes and says " I'm sorry but he got caught by a train on 79th and lawndale" I'm like why in the hell did you say he was 5 minutes away.. ANYWAY BOTTOM LINE DON'T USE THIS. COMPANY, THEY ARE LIARS, RUDE, and non PUNCTUAL.. read more

Amazingly friendly service!!! Tonight could have been a very long and cold night but I was blessed when Bear showed up to rescue me. He definitely went above and beyond to reassure me that everything would be ok. I was lucky to have two drivers aide me and help me. Definitely a class act business with the drivers you hire. Allstate Roadside Insurance sent Rocket Towing Inc. to my house this morning because my husband's tire had a flat. The guy they sent to my house (can't remember his name) was so unexpectedly pleasant and helpful that I had to write a review. The entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. As it turned out he was able to simply refill the tire and I was able to drive it to buy new tires without any problems. I would not hesitate to use them again with confidence. read more
