Nobs towing saved my life!! They showed up fast and extricated me from a challenging situation. My wheel had gone deeply off the driveway ramp leading out of our garage( what can I say? Website is literally a blank and useless. Communication is absoulte worst you will not get any updates on your vehicle and they will not follow instructions on your notes nor communicate on any updates/confirmation on anything your literally blind and unsure on where your vehicle is. And the cost is $200 for under 15 miles so dont waste your time and money with them. They will get the job done but at what cost. And they promise to correct the mistake by moving my car to the correct drop off spot but still lied about going to fix the mistake after calling them and still wasnt fixed after HOURS and I still didnt get a call confirmation that it was fixed or not. read more

My car wouldn't start so I called over Nobs. Lady who answered was extremely nice and knew exactly where I was located. That made it even easier for the driver to find me and give me a quick jump. From call to driving away, barely 20 minutes. Had the receipt emailed over to me so I could get reimbursed by my insurance. Could not have gone smoother. I called because my battery was dead on a cold night of 5 below 0. The truck comes out and gets a battery pack to jump my old car. I told him from the start that it would not work because I have one and tried it. I was trying to talk to a professional but he gave me no other choice. Of course it did not work and they don't have jumper cables (curious for an auto pro). This was all he could do and he drove away and left me in the parking lot on the coldest night of the year. I found someone to come 40 miles and jump my car with cables and a running truck and got the car started. I am a big girl and I handle my business. But is there is no human compassion anymore? It was only about making a dollar and not that a human being needed help on a dangerously cold night. read more

This service is included in my. State Farm road side assistance so I scheduled a tow . They quoted me 60 minutes. Way past 60 minutes I called in to get a status . They said they forgot about me . They cancelled my order and they never told me . They left me stuck and stranded . read more

Awesome service! My car died on a Saturday morning in a parking lot in Oak Park. After calling multiple other places who told me they weren't doing private tows Nobs said they were available and came in about 30 minutes. The two gentlemen who helped me on the initial call and then once the truck arrived were so nice. I have a Ford Fusion so it's more complicated to jump the car. They gave me a jump and charged a reasonable price. Definitely would call them back if I need another tow in the future! read more

This was literally the worst experience I've ever had with a business. The most important thing for you to know, is when they dropped off my vehicle, they got the tow bar caught on the undercarriage if my car. The bar scraped up things under my car, lifting it off the ground! Fluids began spurting, then my car crashed to the ground. They didn't apologize or acknowledge any wrongdoing! My car, which was running after the accident, now no longer starts! When my car was initiinally towed by them, following an accident, I was given different information when I would call and talk to different people. I was lied to on multiple occasions, including that they claimed they were not employed by AAA, then ten minutes later AAA told me they were the ones who would remove my car from their lot and tow it to my requested location. I was asked to leave my name and number for the owner to call me, and six hours after he was supposed to call, I was told "it was on me" for not calling back over and over. The outrageous hidden costs are only a small part of my disgust for this organization! read more

He got there really fast, good thing as it was raining and cold. His tow truck seamed brand new too. I would use them again for sure. read more

Our car needed towing last January, and for a distance of 4 miles, they charged $295! A few months later, the same car needed towing over similar distance and I called them; this time they quoted ~$90! As a follow up to that call, we sent a letter to them going over the above items. The owner called me back on the phone, and he admitted that they overcharged ('way too much') the first time. Thus, he stated that a 'partial' reimbursement would be in the mail right away. We have been waiting for that for about three and a half months. In the meantime, we sent him another letter restating the above facts; there has been no response yet! The bottom line is that we no longer expect anything from them. Our advice is "stay as far away from them as possible"! They may treat you well or as badly as they can. read more

Nob Towing is a suitable name. They certainly are knobs. I made arrangements for them to tow my vehicle. They were supposed to arrive in 90 minutes. When they hadn't arrive I called. I was told that the tow had been cancelled 90 minutes earlier. No one bothered to inform me. I wasted 90 minutes, and now have to wait at least another hour to get towed, while stranded on the interstate. Horrible service. read more

I wish I could upload pictures to show the damage done to my car. Obviously, no one can prove anything, so SOL on me. My car got towed by Nobs Towing. When I went to retrieve it, there was a HUGE (size of a big WATERMELON) dent in the front of the car AND one of the tires had a flat. When I questioned the guy (don't know if he is the owner or worker) of course his response was "I don't know" and gave me a big, at least $100+ discount on the towing fee. ONE. NO TOWING company ever gives any discounts, are you kidding me. TWO. Don't trust them. I went to their Facebook and they had lots of "look at us, we're helpful" pictures. I'm going to try to post my pictures of the dent that "appeared" after they towed my car on their FB. I doubt they'll let me. read more

Very disrespectful owner. Accused us of trying to get a new bumper out of him which was not the case. We just wanted to know if the hole in my boyfriend's bumper came from the tow to the shop, the shop, or fault of our own. I would not recommend due to the disrespect, and ignorance of the owner. He spoke to my boyfriend as if he was a child. I'm 24 years old and know better than to speak the way he did and come off so abrasive. You speak to a customer with respect. Very unprofessional owner. I tried to talk with him about damage done to my car when one of his drivers towed my car to pep boys. There was a big gaping hole in my front end bumper and of course he went straight on the defensive about how his driver didn't do anything.
