Scammer. Stay away. They will take your car to other shops than you request. This happened to me and others

I would not recommend them for anything! We broke a spring on our boat trailer. They agreed to a price to tow the boat on a flatbed with my insurance company. They said to expect them in 30-35 minutes. After an hour, I texted again. I asked the driver via text when we were to expect them. He said that they broke down and provided me with a picture of the flatbed needing a new tire replaced. He said I could wait for it to be fixed or cancel. I told him I didn't want to cancel. Then I called my insurance and they said this company Official Towing was trying to shake them down for another $300 and when they said that was not what they had agreed to, they closed the ticket and hung up on my insurance company. My husband called the tow company and they admitted they wouldn't do it unless it was more money. These people are greedy and very rude. To close out the ticket and not inform us while we sit on the side of a dangerous highway is awful! I would give them 0 stars if I could! read more

I was literally looking for someone to tow me ONE block away. Official came right away and saved me from the cop calling their tow company. Great ppl on time always when I need them drivers are respectful and dispatcher's are extremely helpful

So I put out a review on Google how I waited two hours for a tow and then another 20 minutes arguing about the address of where I was at. The repair shop is not open so they had to store over the weekend. On Monday they said they needed an order from the insurance company. Insurance calls and they said they will tow it on Tuesday. Call in the afternoon on Tuesday and said that it will arrive in 30 minutes at repair shop. Call repair shop on Wednesday and they never received the car. Had to wait to call at 10am. Call at 10 and they said they will tow it in 30 minutes. Drive up to the place in an hour and it is still on the street. My family had to follow the truck to make sure it got delivered. read more

Very Rude! This company would fail if the driver like Andrew quits. I was stuck on the 290East. Official towing gave me an eta for 90 mins. When i called them back after 85 mins to find out if the the driver is close then the boss of the Official Towing started shouting on me and explained me the meaning of eta. The police officer pulled over behind me and asked me if i need help. I requested the officer to ask Official Towing the eta then the boss of the Official Towing lied to the officer by saying that i gave him the wrong address. The police officer said that he is a jack ass. Anyways then Andrew the driver for Official Towing showed up. He is young vibrant and very friendly guy. Five stars to Andrew. They have mostly good reviews so maybe I was just unlucky and got the bad employees, but they are MONEY HUNGRY. they were supposed to tow my car but for some reason they left at 6 am to bring my car to the body shop. of course the body shop was closed so they were unable to drop my vehicle. Idiotic to think a body shop would be open at 6 am but no big deal. the issue comes in when they NEVER told me they were unable to drop my car off. on Monday I'm thinking my car is at the body shop and everything is good Because i got a notification that they were bringing it that morning. Later that week, on friday, when my insurance literally goes TO the body shop to inspect the vehicle we find out it was NEVER delivered to the shop. i call official towing and they say "oh yeah it was closed when we went so we brought it back. you need to submit a new order to get your car towed there" so all week I'm thinking my car has arrived and everything is good, only to find out they still had my car and it was of course racking up charges every day that it stayed with official towing. if they needed a new order to tow my car, fine, but how were they ever going to get a new order if they never even let me know that my car wasnt able to get delivered? they clearly didnt tell me on purpose so that i would have to pay them more, there is no reason 4 days should have gone by without me knowing they were unable to complete delivery. if my insurance never showed up how long would they have let my car sit there and rack up charges? then when i talked to them their customer service is a complete joke. use at your own risk, read more

I had to get my Mercedes to the dealership. Liberty Mutual sent me a horrible company initially. Then official towing was given the job. Wadee Waeea was very professional and courteous. My car stopped and I was basically stranded in the snow. A whole family pushed my truck to a parking spot. I googled OT Towing, called and explained my situation. The day was Thursday and I was told that a tow truck would be at my location in 30 minutes. He was there in 25 and I received the most exceptional care . I first called asking for a eta and they told me 30-45 mins. After 20 mins i called again to check the eta and the guy on the phone was rude and responded saying "i already told you 45 mins" when we were just calling to get a new eta because we have been waiting a while. I finally get a text saying the driver was onsite and i waited for 10 mins and no one showed up. So i called them and told them what happened the guy said he will be there shortly he's near by dropping a car off. I waited half an hour longer and called them 10 times and no one answered me. I waited a total of 4 hours for them to cancel without telling me or my insurance and sending my calls to voicemail. read more

I was slammed into on the 290 and my car was totaled. Wadee, the driver was quick to me and even quicker getting everything taken care of. I asked him to just drop me off at the first off ramp and I would Uber to work but he refused and took me to work which was 15-20 minutes in the opposite direction he needed to go. Then my brother called and they said they canceled the job a while ago. Never called to let me know. I've been sitting here waiting apparently for no one to pick up my car. Terrible customer service.
