CARSTAR Custom 77 is AMAZING and I am so happy my family recommended me to get my car fixed here. My Uncle and Grandfather have took their vehicle here over the years both my uncle and mother suggested I come her to get my bumper fixed after an accident. In January, I was in a car accident and my front bumper was cracked and grill was completely damaged. My first visit was receiving an estimate for the insurance claim. It was definitely a quick exchange; Rian will be the first person you see at the front desk. She is so amazing and helpful. She was able to answer my questions and also give me advise with dealing with Allstate. SN: If you have Allstate or someone who damaged your car has Allstate... PREPARE FOR A HEADACHE! Anyways, Rian was amazing and also the other guys. My car was there for several weeks and they kept me in the loop... I definitely liked that I was able to rent a car at enterprise and they met me at the body shop and I could leave my rental at Custom 77 when I got my car back. It was a smooth and efficient process. My car looked GREAT! They replace everything and gave my baby a wash. I am so happy about my experience and really appreciate their hard work. I recommend this place to everyone... Custom 77 has always been our go to place. They are amazing. They have taken care of my mom twice. The first time ( not her fault) their hands were tied due to parts not being available due to all the car issues. So that job took a lot longer than normal. This second time, they took her car in and without hesitation said yes they would work on it. My mother is 8o years old and they are very patient with her when she calls them ( probably daily lol) asking about her car. This place is great! It's a family business and from the time you walk in the door and meet Rian and her father Bob, you know you're in good hands. All the work I've had done was always perfect on several cars and especially their paint jobs! People will keep asking if you bought a new car when they see the paint job they do. I had a black 86 Monte Carlo that I was nervous about coming out right and I never had so many complements about the paint - this was about 25 years ago and I've used them exclusively ever since! read more

I informed the owner or one of the owners that I utilized Yelp to locate the best body shop and auto parts store with the most positive reviews to bring my recently damaged vehicle for repair. I met Bob Mueller who assisted me with my requested auto repair, in a timely fashion, with the the quality I requested, for the price I wanted. I would recommend this location for any auto body repair work. this is a family business that treats the customer like family. I didn't pursue another location because I found what I wanted at this location. It's nerve-wracking being in an accident; it's even more difficult when you don't know where to have the car towed. Luckily for me, my car went to Custom 77 Auto Rebuilders in Midlothian. The damage was significant, but Custom 77's Rian and Bob both put me at ease. The first words out of Rian's mouth as I entered and introduced myself were: "Are you all right?" My insurance adjustor, upon learning where the car was said these guys were great. I met Eric at Custom 77 when I went back to get some more personal belongings out of my car. It was up on the lift already, so Eric had to "work" to get these items. When I offered him a tip, he refused saying he couldn't accept it. I was kept constantly aware of the car's progress. When I went to pick it up, I arrived a few minutes after closing on a Saturday. Nervous that it might have closed, the owner himself greeted me, smiled, and said: "Come on, let me show you our work." I couldn't believe it, every hint of damage was gone. Not only that, but the car had been washed and vacuumed and the windows cleaned. To make it even better, when I complimented Bob, the owner, on how wonderful his staff was, he said: "They better be, they're my kids. This is a family-owned business." What a wonderful feeling, to walk away smiling, knowing you kept the business in the community, helped a small business, felt as though every penny spent was more than worth it, and received courteous, timely, service at an exemplary level. read more

I finally had a chance to bring my car back in, and they helped me right on the spot. The front washers work now and they ordered a part for the turn signal problem. Bob kept me informed on everything that was going on. I shouldn't have rated the whole company (in my previous review) based on the poor communication skills from the receptionist. The car has been running great and the few small problems it had after the wreck are being (or have been) taken care of. The people behind the scenes know what they're doing. Well, my wife had an unfortunate accident a couple of weeks ago with the 2011 Chrysler 300C so it was off to Custom 77 again. The car was finished in a week and a half and was picked up today. My wife and I are extremely pleased... again. This is a silver car and everyone knows how difficult silver can be but this repair and paint is exceptional. Not a speck of dirt and in the bright sunshine today there is absolutely no indication of difference in paint. The match is perfect from any angle you inspect it. Excellent work! I have been to them multiple times to repair minor and somewhat major damage to our vehicles. The most memorable time was when an inflatable jumpie from Adventure Party Rentals went airborne and caused $5000.00 in damage to my vehicles in the driveway. Bob and Rian were ROCK STARS! Between keeping me updated and the quality of work that was performed, I couldn't have been happier. What started out as a very negative experience, when Adventure Part Rentals promised to pay for the repairs, then decided it wasn't their fault, became an opportunity to deal with an awesome business with a personal touch and professionalism throughout! read more

So that is where I took my vehicle in last Wednesday and after a week, I picked my Explorer up yesterday. 6/18/20 Have been in minor fender, benders in the past -most of the repair shops have done well in repair. This go around, I was particular in body repair search and service. I researched ratings & reviews online -many shops had 4 stars. Then I saw Custom 77 with many 5 stars. As I perused the reviews, I gave it a shot! From the time I was stepped in the door, Ryan is the perfect CSM there could be; very personable, knowledgeable, sharp, on top of the company's business. Then here comes Bob the owner, a reserved 'backdrop' yet hands on. I immediately felt comfortable with my car left there. The established orderly (staff), clean/secure (the premises), organized (overall). With over $5500 of damage, my car was ready in approximately 7 days-I was surprised and took car of my rental return. Here comes the pick-up -I saw my car smiling at me as I approached it for inspection- I reciprocated! Bob explained everything about my repair ( not to mention the history of the shop), but the expert was the pro, the sweet charmer, Sean who did an outstanding job on my car repair.
